The fact that Joshie tries so miserably to deny any knowledge of the events, I mean, members of his own family implicated? Just plain pathetic.
ReplyDeleteI guess that 2026 gubernatorial run is down the drain this time; as they say, "birds of a feather flock together."
This is certainly going to be the biggest story of the year involving 7 indicted defendants who are all essentially accused of pilfering the federal government of of close to 2 million dollars of federal funding intended to assist poor and impoverished individuals and families affected by the Covid pandemic. The PUA fraud conspiracy reportedly involves the Lt. Governor’s family to include his sister, his relationship partner and others closely associated with the Administration. While nothing as yet has been revealed about weather or not Lt. Gov. Tenorio is involved in the PUA fraud case, the fact that he is closely connected with some of the defendants as previously mentioned does not look good for him. And while he has not been determined to be involved, the investigation is ongoing. Will this latest episode of government corruption affect his run for Governor in 2026? That will clearly depend on the outcome of the criminal cases that proceed to trial. The mere fact that close family members and associates are involved in alleged criminal activity does not bode well for Tenorio’s campaign. Public opinion has to be heavily swayed towards giving Tenorio the benefit of the doubt that despite his close association with some of the defendants, his character and integrity remains intact.
