At the Funeral Mass for Fr. Mike Crisostomo on Saturday, January 17, the archbishop, after the gifts are brought up at the offertory, and instead of returning to the altar, exits stage left, disappears from the camera, then reappears. Where did he go?
Incredibly, he exited the sanctuary to greet and shake the hands of Lou & Josh who were located at the Plaza wing of the Basilica. I think politicking ("kissing ass") right smack in the middle of mass--a sacred ritual--is canonically improper, and downright disrespectful to the deceased and his family.
ReplyDeleteJimenez is nothing but a political snake who basks in the newfound power he is given. At every big event in the Cathedral-Basilica where Lou and Josh are present, in the middle of the liturgy he would go out of his way to greet them.
DeleteThis also happened at the entrance procession during the Jubilee mass. If anything, he could have done the more honourable way and approached Pale' Mike's family to once again offer his sincerest condolences for such a profound loss. But I guess behind Jimenez's sinister grin, "who gives a damn?"
That was astounding to me. He simply marched right past the family without a nod and paraded over to Lou and Josh. Not to mention that both publicly embrace and promote actions and policies so contrary to Catholic doctrine that they are objectively ineligible to receive Holy Communion. Yet Jimenez interrupted the funeral Mass for his dead son to whisk on over to share some love with his political pals. Just amazing. Can't stop shaking my head. Makes me wonder why we bother to even fight for right in this diocese.
DeleteAt this point, Jimenez should consider running for political office. In addition to being in cahoots with Auntie Lou and Adelup, he doesn't care about the flock he serves and instead pampers himself with the prestige and benefits of his powerful position (just like some of our currently elected officials in office). -_-
DeleteI think he was confirming his lunch date with the governor and lieutenant governor!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteApparently so since he wasn’t seen at the burial of his own “son.”
DeleteHe made life extra difficult for a dying priest by sending Pale Mike to the farthest parish possible, and now this!
ReplyDeleteEver ask yourself what Mike did to get moved out to "the farthest parish" in the first place??!
ReplyDeleteYou know! Don't play stupid!!
Like the sh*t about Msgr. James, I heard sh*t about Fr. Mike for years. But NO ONE has ever shown me a da*n thing. When I was standing all alone against the Apuron Machine for several years, I HAD AND PRESENTED evidence. In fact, I presented real people who were willing to be sued into poverty by Apuron for telling the truth. No such witnesses have been offered to back up the accusations against these two priests. Just gossip and bullshit which smells of some personal jealous vendetta and nothing more. If YOU have something, then have the integrity to come out with it. Don’t forget to use your name - your real one.
