BLOGGER ACCUSED BY WIFE

Every once in a while (thankfully not as often as before), someone who doesn't know me - or who has something against me - "googles" my name, and, like what happened today, the trash about me being a wife-beater and child-molester of my own children comes up.  

In those days (2018), it was my own lawyer who was my worst enemy. I could have easily discredited those allegations with a single statement; however, my lawyer (one of six I would eventually retain - not including myself) threatened me to remain silent, and at the time, I trusted my lawyer - something I will never do again.

I would learn later that my then-lawyer had a reason for her threat, a reason I will not get into here; however, let's just say that when I threatened to sue her for legal malpractice, she gave me my retainer back to get rid of me. (I have all the documents.) I could have sued for much more, but I had other matters on my mind at the time.

Meanwhile, the damage was done. Not so much to me. I could handle it. But to my children. Once, during a visitation with my son, William, who suffers from multiple disabilities and who was living half a world away at the time, he (William), who was very good with his iPad, showed me his screen and said, "Dad, what's this?"

It was a picture of his mother and me on the front page of a KUAM story titled "Blogger accused by wife."

It was all lies, of course, but, as I said, the damage was done. 

And the damage was done by Krystal Paco, who couldn't resist "breaking" the story, even though it was absolute nonsense. I have the complete text exchange with Krystal. She told me that she had learned of my wife's accusations via an "anonymous tip." And when I asked her to hold off on the story, she replied that she did not want to get "scooped." 

So she ran the story, and it got picked up by every other media outlet but one. Haidee at the PDN refused to do a hit piece on me. When I asked her if she was going to, she replied:

Haidee and I, even though we had been on good terms previously, were not on good terms at the time, so it would have been easy for her to jump in and kick me when I was down, as Krystal did. But she didn't. 

Once again, I have all of this in texts, in case Krystal or anyone else wants to challenge my claims. Krystal, by the way, was soon rewarded for her trashing of me - a very public opponent of then-candidate for governor Lou Leon Guerrero- when she was appointed Lou's Director of Communications after Lou won the election.

I only bring this old stuff up today because it happened again today - the trash from nearly a decade ago, remaining on the internet, thanks to a reporter who didn't want to get scooped. 

There's more to the story, though. A certain group of priests were in on it. 

This was May 2018. Apuron had just been found guilty by the Vatican, and I was the main mover in outing him. Apuron planned to appeal and demonstrate that he had been framed by "Tim Rohr and his associates," and that I was colluding with a Chinese gambling interest to steal the "Yona Property" (the old RMS seminary) from the Neocats to install a casino there. 

Amazing, but true. Not true that there was an alliance between me and a gambling interest. But true that this is what Apuron and the Neocats accused me of. And, at the time, it was in the news.

So I know where Krystal's "anonymous tip" came from. And it's why I won't let the Neocat thing go.
