NCW needs to be eradicated in Guam, not only because of the fiscal and liturgical damages this org has wrought but for the fallacy of their foundational principles and theology. As this unfolds, I plead with our international readers to join us in stemming out the evils of ncw and our acquiescent leadership. Please advise us how to go about ridding our long-suffering community of falsehood and evil!!! It is kind of fun to see the story in Italia...Yes! It is kind of fun to see the story in Italian! I find the Italian version of the story that carried the story of “the incident” to be very noteworthy for two reasons, and I urge all the readers of Tim’s JungleWatch to go to that link that Tim has provided. It is in Italian, but don’t worry because both the article as well as the 41 comments that follow are translated into English.

Two things I found very telling about the Italian version of the story are:

(1)While the article did not mince words in reporting the gravity of “the incident”, the vast majority of the 41 comments that followed didn’t seem to be as much concerned about the act itself or the perpetrators themselves, as they were about how and why such “an incident” like this can and does occur – i.e. the twisted theology, teaching, and morality as taught by the NeoCatechumenalWay (NCW) –its responsibles, its catechists, its leaders and its very founders Kiko Arguello and Carmen Fernandez.

While not condoning “the incident” that took place between the priest and the 17-year old female, so much more blame was laid on the very formation and indoctrination of the NCW members, to the extent that many members feel and become convinced of the “distorted view of grace and sin” as taught by Kiko and his Kikobots, i.e. that “man cannot sin… leading subtly to distrust divine grace… because we are all sinners, and that God has already forgiven us.” No wonder they expose their sins in public confession, and even preach them to us as testimonials at homily time during Mass!

From what I can read from their comments they are more concerned about the evil they see in the NCW, and not as much about the priest as the principal villain here. A word to Fr. Luis: Take heart in what was mentioned earlier in this blog by Tim Rohr that you are as much a VICTIM in “this incident” as you are the perpetrator of the deed. While we pray for you that you come out with the truth, because the Truth will set you free, find some kind of solace (if you can) that you became a VICTIM of the very institution that you thought had been out to save your soul.

(2)The second telling thing I saw in the Italian coverage of “the incident” is that this is a call for us Non-Neos to reinforce what we already believe – that the main source of divisiveness within our Catholic Church in Guam lies not as much with the individual members of our local Neo brothers and sisters, as with the leadership of the Neo (and – sad to say – Archbishop Apuron is one of them) which is intent on taking over our Roman Catholic Church by changing our theology, our Faith, our Liturgy, and – yes – even our very Chamorro culture.

You can comment if you wish, but if any Neo wishes to refute this writing, please don’t do it here; go directly to the source and make your thoughts known there at…..

http://neocatecumenali.blogspot.com/2015/03/presbitero-neocat-arrestato-la-solita-doppia-morale-dei-neocatekikos.html

I am just paraphrasing what the folks in Italy are saying and writing about “the incident”. I have linked it already into the English language; you can always switch to the original Italian by selecting the desired language to view it in. You can also read it in Chinese, Filipino, French, German, Hebrew, Japanese, Hungarian, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Spanish, etc. and yes --- even in Maltese!
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5652940417109665141.post-86557180140325256232015-03-22T23:37:03.292+10:002015-03-22T23:37:03.292+10:00Note that GoogleTranslate often misses some "...Note that GoogleTranslate often misses some "not" before the verbs.

The proverb "a dog doesn't eat a dog" here in Italy means that evil people do not like to fight evil people.

We had a number of "Camachogate" here, and the Neo's reactions were the same described on Jungle Watch.
