Thank God it did not work. Today, greater number. Hon thought it would stop this week." — that reminded me of another comment made by the Apostolic Administrator on 12 June. On that day, after turning his back on sexual assault survivor Walter Denton, the Apostolic Administrator announced to the congregation at the 9:30 Mass that there were protestors outside and hopefully in two weeks this will die down.

Today, 4 September, was the 13th week of picketing. And, like on 26 June, which marked the Two Weeks of the Apostolic Administrator's 12 June prediction, the Church Militants did not do as he expected.

Given the popularity of Fr. Paul AND considering how many of us had waited 3 years for him to be vindicated, the Apostolic Administrator probably counted on people wanting to "celebrate" with Fr. Paul enough to lay down the signs and go into the church for the 9:30 Mass.

Sure, there were some who did exactly as the Apostolic Administrator hoped BUT there were many more who HONestly were not willing to play his game. Some had been reading this blog for months and, by the Grace of God, decided TODAY was the day to come out, pick up a sign and walk the picket line.

Twice the Apostolic Administrator thought we would stop and twice we have come back stronger than before. I'm not sure how long it will take for him to recognize that Sunday mornings will find members of the Church Militant in front of the Cathedral-Basilica 0900-0945, sending our messages to DEFROCK APURON for the world — including "Rome" — to see. But you must resolve within your heart that you will accept the cause, which is right. There really is nothing to question or to critique about how the picket is to held, and even if there is the Pope saying the 9:30 AM mass at the CB, the picket still goes on, till our objectives are met. Just keep your opinions to yourself like a good soldier would. We have this unwritten but demonstrably strong "Obedience" to our Cause. All we have gotten so far is window-dressing. Not enough, unfortunately. We all wish that Archbishop Hon stopped beating around the bushes, and just do the right things, which equates to the four R's: Restore (Msgr. James' and Fr. Paul's good name and return them to their previous pastoral posts; Rector ain't quite good enough, even though Fr. Paul is happy with it); Return (the property in Yona, and now include shutting down that sham of a seminary; Remove Apuron (Defrock him!); and Restitution and Justice for the Sex Abuse Victims of Apuron, Bouillard, and maybe other clergy members! To accomplish all the above, AB Hon needs to be serious about retiring Adrian Cristobal and David Quitugua, former vicar general. He's kicked out Pius the Putrid Monk, so that is a start! We must also demand that these priests who came out of that seminary in Yona be removed as pastors, because they lack the character to really be good pastors. What happened to Hon's request for all pastors to submit their courtesy resignations? He has the opportunity to take care of the RESTORE and get rid of the Neo priests in the villages where they are based.

As the saying goes: Speak too much, too many problems. Speak a little, little problems. Don't speak at all, no problems! Picketing and Protesting next Sunday! If you want to get involved in decisions that are traditionally made by clergy, talk to Father Jeff if you want to join in the meetings and help in decision-making. It is quite easy to make accusations that merely fan the flames. Please say exactly what you want to happen and mention them to appropriate channels. Like me, you probably do not want to fight for a church wherein you leave the clergy out of the equation and promote anarchy! We need them, so we have to work with them! They need your help because they never wanted to be in this mess, and they are trying in ways they know how. We cannot afford to casually throw accusations here and there to incite mob mentality. Please be reasonable, be candid, be sincere - these meetings are tedious as they probably are, to undo much of the damages Apuron and his staff brought on the Archdiocese that he did not care about. Think through what you say, and ask yourself if you are willing to be part of a change, willing enough to constructively express your opinion in a mature and respectful way.
