Thanks, Tim. It's starting to see just often the NCW uses eisegesis in those 13 elements. Eisegesis imposes a subjective message onto a passage of Sacred Scripture, as opposed to exegesis, which draws a message out from the passage based upon its literal and spiritual senses. My presentation delves into this a bit.

Deletethe most sensible advice I have heard of concerning the C19 vax comes from Dr Peter McCullough. One of the most highly regarded and published cardiologists in US. He explains that although yhe spike protein was supposed to remain, and only for a shirt period, at the injection site, it has been found to proliferate throughout the body for years after injection-now 4 or 5 years. This protein causes untold problems throughout the body and the Dr recommends a detox protocol to eradicate it. Developed and researched in Japan. ReplyDeleteI have been a member of NCW. I am very concerned about cult behaviours in Catholic Church. In my country, Poland it is not only the risk of cult-like communities from global well-known movements but also we have several "priests" that went suspended and they have a lot of "fans" and followers even if they are not within Catholic Church anymore.
For this reason I created the page (in Polish language only) https://neonyszeptem.pl/
There I collect valuable podcast, articles and books that help to distinguish between healthy faith and religion and neurotic religiosity or abuse, as well as about movements - the critical ones and the ones that are very supportive for them.
I also write opionions about books I've read and in some time I plan to write my own book.
Regarding NCW, I read a book by Polish Jesuits that introduced NCW to Poland, and I have learnt about the "Polish path" the NCW founders had to John Paul II thanks to them. ( To remind - John Paul II who was a Pope for quarter of century, and supported all new movements was from Poland, my country)
I have also have an interesting books - that is a compilation of emails from a family on Mission Ad gentes. Some may say it is full of faith and humility, I have consideration whether it is Stockholm syndrom... Are you aware about any publication about a family on NCW ad gentes mission?

DeleteIn my opinion the biggest problem is an approach of Church to Sects. In 1986 (40 years ago) Vatican published a document about sects. The main (and according to me - the wrong conclusion) was that sects are outside of Catholic Church, and within we have only "sectarian behaviours" that do not need to lead to sects.
The experience from latest decades show there are sects within Catholic Church but they are being discovered or named this way multiple years after they have existed - thus many people have been hurt by these cults and remained with thema as the Church reaction was too late. (I list many examples from global and Polish church).
I think it is the high time of new Vatican's document acknowledging not only "sectarian behaviour" but the high risk of "cults" and "destructive groups" within Catholic Church. This would hopefully lead to some preventive action and establishing some preventive processses.
Not sure if you know that in Canonical Law Codex, the victim of sexual abuse is only a "witness" because the real "victim" is a Church. Thus a human victim has no rights to read any documents from the trial, learn the verdict etc, while the abuser can appeal against the judgement (the human victim cannot)
What is even more bothering - there is no "crime" such as "spiritual abuse" in Canonical Law Codex, and as we all know "spiritual abuse" leads to further abuses such as physical abuse, sexual abuse, financial abuse, emotional abuse, etc.
It is long way for Catholic Church to self-purification.
