TARGET = PRIEST

Fr. Paul Gofigan was the pastor of the largest parish on the island of Guam. He was also one of the few pastors left on the island who resisted the advance of the Neocatechumenal Way, a cultic international organization that had cultivated heavy influence with corrupt Vatican officials as well as many of the world's bishops, including Guam's. It was only a matter of time before the Archbishop of Guam would be ordered by his Neocatechumenal masters to crush Fr. Paul. That time arrived on July 16, 2013. At a meeting with the Archbishop, Fr. Paul was ordered to resign as pastor, locked out of his office, stripped of his priestly faculties, publicly replaced, ordered to vacate his place of residence, and banished from the diocese. The Archbishop expected Fr. Paul to just go away. He didn't. This is the story.

  2. Everybody got an advanced copy. The book will be based on all the posts I did about the affair. And of course it's one sided. DING DING DING! Diana, feel free to write the other side...but then that means you would have to learn to write.

  4. Tim your so gracious in helping Fr. Paul . Is he being paid during this time of waiting for his case. Readers should know what is happening here. Is he paid salary. Does he have money for personal needs. Am sure his sister will take care of him but many are concerned for him as a priest.

    1. I do not know his personal situation other than he is a "priest in residence" at St. Anthony parish. I also do not have personal contact with him. Perhaps a reader may know more.

  6. Archbishop you are a disgrace to this island. Your a wolf in sheep's clothing. You have done extensive damage to the catholic families in the trust held under your watch. Transparency and accountability are now being questioned by all Catholics on this island. We love and pray for Fr. Paul during this time.

    1. Watch wha tyou say about the bishop. You might have to answer it in front of God. But then again, you're probably already a saint right?

  7. @ Anonymous AND YOU'RE NEO, so I'm guessing you think you are?! (A Saint). Think before you blink & boast of your saintliness. I of course am Mary Magdalene, a SINNER. Please go bathe in holy water since I have "tainted" you. Understandably Blogs are used not to pass judgement, so may I encourage you to have an open mind? And I'll just end this with how enlightening this page has been. I too was fond of Father and enjoyed his homilies whenever I frequented Dededo parish. May God Bless You and Keep You Forever Pale'.
    Sincerely,
    MM
