Looks like the Archbishop is climbing the golden ladder! Maria Santos bought Apuron cars and trips and lavish dinners. Now she is doing the same to Jimenez. He is well on his way to becoming a poor bishop millionaire. Between Santos, the NCW, and the democratic leadership of Guam it looks like Ryan is just about ready to start purchasing homes, just like Apuron. And it looks like the protege is in training. The Harold of Colombia is back and is now riding the coattails of his newest bishop. What is truly disgusting is that while parishes and schools are expected to dig into operations to pay for sex abuse lawsuits, our bishop seems content to deposit money into his own personal retirement fund. Our Churches suffer while the bishop prospers. It sickens me to see this level of greed in the Church leadership.
She thinks she can buy her way into heaven. But as a huge benefactor of individuals, she is just sending her beneficiaries closer to hell. Money is the root of all evil, I pray Jimenez will come to realize this in time, and resist worldly temptations. So far, he’s not doing very well.
I am not American so I am curious! How many $ did the US bishops get from USAID for “processing” unaccompanied “illegal immigrant” children during the Biden regime?
Perhaps there is another way to ask the question. Here is what Gemini says:
The premise of the question contains a few technical inaccuracies regarding the funding mechanisms, the specific agencies involved, and the scope of these programs:
### 1. USAID vs. HHS / ORR
**The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)** operates almost exclusively overseas and does not process, shelter, or handle unaccompanied migrant children inside the United States.
Domestic care, processing, temporary housing, and sponsor placements for unaccompanied noncitizen children are managed inside the U.S. by the **Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)** through its **Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR)**, alongside cooperative efforts with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
### 2. Catholic Bishops and Federal Funding
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and affiliated organizations like regional Catholic Charities agencies historically maintained federal cooperative agreements with HHS/ORR.
* **How Funding Works:** Under the Unaccompanied Children Program, federal awards to religious and non-profit organizations function as reimbursement grants or direct contracts for specific services. These include temporary shelter care, medical care, home studies, legal representation, and post-release tracking/welfare checks. * **Funding Amounts:** Over the course of the Biden administration, federal grants distributed across the total ecosystem of NGOs for the care and placement of unaccompanied minors totaled several billion dollars. However, Catholic organizations were only one portion of this network alongside other non-profits (such as Southwest Key Programs, Global Refuge, and Endeavors). * **USCCB Contract End:** In April 2025, the USCCB announced it would not renew its longstanding cooperative agreements with the federal government for child and refugee services, ending its primary federal funding relationship for these programs.
Yes, good question. Ryan resisted leaving creature comforts as long as possible, by staying in Tumon as long as he could. But eventually he had to move to sacred space. Because of past clerical sins of massive sex abuse by a small group of priests (which Apuron did nothing about) the Court ordered (and Byrnes agreed) that the bishops house and compound must be sold and the proceeds be applied to a victims fund. So, Ryan had no choice to move to a home set aside for the local ordinary. A separate bishops home is almost universal in the entire Catholic world. But for Ryan to have his own home would require massive spending that would deny funding necessary for victims. The court would never allow this, regardless of the source of funds. And Rome also would likely never approve such spending. So Ryan lives at his rectory, the Pastoral Center at his Cathedral. Makes sense to me!
I don't know about his money. No doubt - as with most bishops - he is much better off financially as a bishop and now an archbishop, especially with friends like "Maria." Meanwhile, I am sure he is smart enough not to flaunt his wealth. He doesn't intend to stay here anyway.
Yep. And that's how we exposed the largest clergy sex abuse scandal, per capita, in the entire Catholic world - by speculating and assuming. Turned out we were right.
Well, let's review. I posted a picture with the words Any Questions? Nothing more. Apparently, you are the one thinking that this is a "cloud." I wonder why?
haha. exactly. you leave a photo open to interpretaton. no caption. no mention even if the photo was released with permission from the persons or the venue this was taken from. then your minions start the fire... you only rebute when someone such as myself posts something contrary to the JW toxic theme.
The picture was posted to social media. No permission needed. Apparently, you believe that the rape and mutilation of hundreds of children by pastors in this diocese for decades was okay. Because if it weren't for "toxic" JW, that would still be going on. In fact, it may still be. BTW, the priest in the picture was Apuron's NUMBER 1 defender.
the title of your post "any questions?" Starts the toxic backyard oil drum fire as if there is a surety of something untoward here. Again did you get the permission to post these photos. Especially from the private parishoner in the center. Did this old lady know?
Did you get the permission of the parents of the minors that were chatting with Fr. Cody that you were posting their photo?
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I guess this pix is yet another demonstration of the adage. The liberties obviously taken by Maria Santos, are not adequate in any sense. It also shows that the arch is clueless about who to take pictures with, and in which context. Letting this dubious female hugg you by the neck is not very much appropriate for any bishop. The flushed skin of both Ryan and Bobo boy, as well as the glassy eyes, shows they most likely did not drink diet cokes. Another issue becoming the 800lb gorilla in the room, is the type of relationship between our Archbishop and his rebelious but flirting presbyter. What is next? Repeated trips together for weeks at the time, destination unknown? No need to go look for scandals....this is the gift that keeps on giving
So whose birthday was it?

It certainly looks like it.

Pope Francis wanted his bishops to smell like sheep. Instead, our bishop wants to smell like lavender. So very sad!

If Archbishop Ryan has access to so much money, why is he currently living in the cathedral's pastoral center? It's a very modest accommodation.
