Our priest said today at Mass that the blog has NO REASON to crucify Luis. Jesus said "forgive them they know not what they do".
"The Blog" has not crucified Luis. "The Blog" has done more to take the side of Fr. Luis than has Apuron, who did not bother to defend him. "The Blog" has argued in Fr. Luis' behalf that he is the real victim in this. "The Blog" has reached out to Fr. Luis, encouraging him and letting him know that he would be more than forgiven if he simply tells the truth with true contrition.
Commenters will be commenters, but they are NOT "the Blog". "The Blog" is Tim Rohr and Tim Rohr only. And Tim Rohr permits all comments including this one:
- AnonymousMarch 21, 2015 at 10:50 PMFuck you Tim, you scumbag asshole!
So you all will need to forgive the priest for what he said about "the blog" for he knows not what he does (though I think he knows exactly what he does).
And as for Anonymous at 10:50 PM, no need to forgive you as I have taken no offense. I am quite used to receiving such "fruit".

ReplyDelete10:50, how dare you talk about your family! Are they really that bad?
DeleteMost comments on the page have reached out to Luis.
ReplyDeleteApuron placed him on restrictive faculties. Commenters supported Luis Camacho more than his own bishop and his way.
May we have the exact definition of what RESTRICTED Faculties are?
DeleteWhat language 10.50pm. You must be an angry NCW member .
ReplyDeleteHoly week is nearing please prepare .
Foot soldier. An unthinking one. A lot of people heard it, unfortunately. He thinks this put him on top rung of the ladder. Too bad when the whole house the ladder leans on comes tumbling down. Definitely knows not what he is doing.

ReplyDeleteNo need for Archbishop Apuron to accept the resignation of Luis. just re read Archbishop Apurons formal statement at the beginning. problem is the way Archbishop Apuron handled the situation.
Jesus himself prescribed the remedy for such abuse. Take a millstone, tie it around his neck, and toss him in the deepest part of the ocean.
ReplyDeleteBy way of what that priest said at Mass, he just created his own scandal. We should pray for that parish and mostly for their priest.
ReplyDeleteI beg to differ, I think Tim has gone kinda easy on him... Personally, as a parent, I am outraged by Luis, and not because he was with a female - but because that female is 17! THEN compound that with the fact that he is a priest! Protect our daughters, protect our children.
ReplyDeleteTim I'm pretty sure he wasn't talking about your blog, have you seen the comments on Facebook? They are pretty intense...
ReplyDelete11.35am. Where do we look on Facebook to read comments?
DeleteActually, I'm pretty sure he meant "the blog", my blog. I haven't seen any comments on Facebook. Facebook timelines are private and there has been no discussion of the issue on my timeline or any of my FB friends. By contrast, the blog is completely public. If there is any discussion for all to see, it is here. Plus, my blog has been in the crosshairs for these guys for a couple years now...for obvious reasons.
DeleteI'm talking about the pdn and kuam Facebook pages
DeleteNCW mantra: Deny, deny,deny....deflect, deflect, deflect. ....when all fails destroy, destroy and
ReplyDeleteFinally destroy. ...
This what we have called the 3D.
Seems like Pius and Apuron keep on playing their favorite movie.
Anon10:50. You sound upset. What is the problem dear lad? Oh, what a warm Christian response. Didn't the "Way" clean your language? I thought you Neos were all saints. My bad. BTW if you are so tough step into light and sign your name. Otherwise, crawl back into the sewer that birthed you and shut up!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing. Its fine to comment anonymously if you're just giving your own opinion or a story etc. but to call someone out and acting all tough they should back it up and put there name if they are so badass.
DeleteNo reason? It's the very reason the worldwide church is hurting and why we now have a SARC! Abuse by the clergy must not be dealt with in the shadows anymore. It is not okay for Apuron to use the media to destroy good priests yet remain silent to protect a wicked one. His agenda becomes ever more clearer with each injustice. And when the one who holds the office responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Church is himself compromised, it falls on the faithful to protect her. No reason? There is no better reason!

ReplyDeleteLuis has 40 years of Priesthood ahead of him. We pray for him but expect problems along the way. Formation appears non existent!
I intend to write a more lengthy post on this in the near future, but I would recommend that Luis examine the possibility of obtaining the equivalent of an annulment for his ordination. It is very evident that young men are pressured to become presbyters, and if not pressured, then certainly lured by Kiko's siren song. Having been in the neo-communities for most of his adult life, having been brought up in a neo-catechumenal formation as a presbyter, Luis probably had no way of knowing what the real priesthood was all about until he was thrust into it. I believe he has grounds to appeal his ordination, not just to be laicized, but to have the ordination completely annulled, especially since we know that in some cases Apuron knew not to ordain them, but was ordered to. I'll make sure Rome knows about this, though I'm sure they already do.
DeleteDo they know about Apuron's realization NOT to ordain and proceed anyhow? Oh, yes.
DeleteApostolic visitors/ congregation doctrine of the Faith know.

DeleteTim, very easy for these guys to get ordained. But to stay the duration of life as a priest when there are many problems is another thing. Don"t see him remaining a priest.
A question. Who was keeping the books down at the two parishes? Seems the PASTOR was ploughing other fields.

Tim. I wast the procession in December in a parish next to Merizo. What I saw was appalling. Fr Luis was flirting with the young girls of the mestizo parish and those girls were flirting right back. Completely inappropriate. When I saw the news of his problem last week I thought back and felt guilty that I didn't say anything back in December. It may have saved this girl from this predicament. I hope there are other people who also saw this and can verify that what I say is true.
ReplyDeleteLooking for other witnesses.
From the very beginning of this "seminary" I saw an extremely unhealthy cult of neo-community fan girls growing around these seminarians, especially the macho boys from South America. Mixing seminarians with the neo-communities is a breeding ground for trouble. And mixing presbyters with lay couples to go "on mission" is more trouble. And now we're seeing it.
DeleteTim, you have a serious point here which many have observed. a very unhealthy situation. .number of reports of Luis and others flirting with girls. I hope Apostolic visitors picked up on this. Almost as if Pius is encouraging relationships of seminarians .
DeleteThe flirting 12:53 mentions reminds me of the photos posted on this blog of now Fr. Harold flirting. All of us need to keep a close eye on these NCW seminarians and priests. As Tim says they may have been pressured into the seminary and ordination and may not actually have a vocation. If so, they be harmed or cause harm or both.
DeleteWell, Pius has himself a tall woman. Not very good example to seminarians. Really not.

What diabolical clergymen!!!
GUAM, protect your children from these demons!
Saipan girls...do not let Luis invite you out for a milk shake competition. (Luis knows what I'm talking about).
DeleteDear Tim et aliae, the mere fact that a priest feels the need to address this blog, not unlike the FDMS AAA's mentioning of the "blog," tells me we have already won, it is now a simple matter of time. God Bless you all in your determination and your tireless efforts.

ReplyDeleteInteresting priest who comments not silenced . Reason for this.
Only MY opinion. And anonymous at that. There are some interesting priests around the island who should be silenced. They are not. Reason for this?
Delete
ReplyDeleteJerry. I address this blog because I believe it is my moral duty to do so. As I have said to Archbishop Krebs only he and the Roman Pontiff can ask me to stop commenting.. When they do ask me I will stop. But until such a time I will continue to post comments and support Tim Rohr because I believe he is a great gift to the entire pacific region.
Fr. Matthew, I and I am sure the others who support Tim and the efforts represented here are not only thankful to you for your support but we deeply admire your bravery as well. We know all too well the pain that can be brought down on our priests. Thank you.
DeleteSome friends and I were talking about how the seminarians can't get free it they wanted to. Besides the cult brainwashing, they don't have a dime. Do you think Archie would give them some miles to LEAVE and go to thier faraway homes?
ReplyDeleteFlirting! Really, PSY 101, you cant read whats in other peoples minds. You can, however, make an observation of what is taking place. PSY 101 again, you'll judge based on your personal experience. What is a normal conversation between you and someone else is way different from than two other people.
ReplyDeletePSY 101, did you learn this from Zoltan? I thought he taught Math?
DeleteHave not seen Fr.Luis lately......hmmmm....where could he be??!!
ReplyDeleteAll this talk about flirting priests, and seminarians not allowed to leave or drop out of formation. Wasn't it the polish priest in Santa Rita that was home for the holidays, and didn't report back, but found a girlfriend? I hear it was after much pleading by a certain Archbishop who dearly loved this boy that he was enticed to come back to Guam and finish his "formation". Lets hope his calling is a true one and that there are no future shenanigans at Santa Rita.
ReplyDeleteWow, those southern parishes are really scary now that they have been run over with neo-presbyters!
This priest and many others have no idea what a "blog" is. I don't know how many times I've had to explain to people the different components of a blog, in this case JungleWatch. At times it's funny while at other times, I have to wonder what makes it so hard for people to understand.
ReplyDeleteFor example, as Tim pointed out very clearly in this post: "The Blog" is Tim Rohr and Tim Rohr only. Yet this is a common exchange between someone reading the COMMENTS (R=Reader) and me (M). Enjoy:
R: "Did Tim Rohr write this?"
M: "Write what?"
R: "This comment." (shows me what is being read)
M: "What name do you see?"
R: "Anonymous"
M: "Trust me, if Tim writes a comment, he puts his name on it."
R: "But I thought you said this was Tim Rohr's blog."
M: "It is. Tim Rohr wrote the post, but what you're reading is a comment."
R: "What's a post?"
M: "That long thing at the top of the page under the title."
R: "Who wrote that?"
M: "TIM ROHR"
R: "So who wrote this comment? Tim?"
M: "No. The comment was written by ANONYMOUS so we don't know who it is."
R: "But you said this is Tim Rohr's blog …"
And it goes on …
So it's obvious that the priest is totally clueless about what the "blog" really said and he clearly demonstrates his ignorance from the pulpit/ambo.
hmmmm, Mary Lou...this priest has smart phone as permanent appendage to his body.
DeleteI think he knows what a blog is.
