PNC: Lujan ready to move forward with settlement talks in sex abuse cases

Guam – It appears as though a settlement may be reached after all for a number of church sex abuse victims.

Attorney David Lujan filed an emergency motion to appear in District Court today regarding another motion–in particular, a motion to stay further action in a number of cases. Lujan, in court papers, is requesting to halt proceedings in these cases so that the parties can engage in alternative dispute resolution or ADR. CONTINUED

PDN: Dozens of church abuse suits to be settled out of court

Attorney David Lujan says the Catholic church would be foolish not to agree to settlements through the Hope and Healing arbitration program. Haidee V. Eugenio/PDN

The attorney representing dozens of people who have accused priests, the Catholic Church and the Boy Scouts of America of child sexual abuse on Thursday announced plans to settle their lawsuits out of court.

During a status hearing Thursday morning in the U.S. District Court of Guam in connection with the cases, attorney David Lujan told Magistrate Judge Joaquin Manibusan that he wants to postpone further court action, pending out-of-court settlements or alternative dispute resolution.

Lujan's clients have sued in federal court, asking for hundreds of millions of dollars in damages.

The goal is to have the cases resolved by Sept. 1, Lujan stated. He said he will file documents with the court, requesting a stay on the cases, Monday or Tuesday.

Manibusan congratulated parties in the case for finding an alternative dispute resolution.

This story is developing.

APURON FOUND NOT GUILTY

Posted By Webster

Yes, this is the likely outcome if Walter Denton, Roy Quintanilla, and Roland Sondia do not testify before the Canonical Trial of Apuron being speedily conducted by the Vatican. This will be a blow of biblical proportions to the Catholic community of Guam, and to all the men and women who have, with great sacrifice, lobbied, fought, and supported these three victims so that Truth and Justice may once again prevail in our beloved Church in Guam.

The CCOG, LFM, and the SLM, the SILENT MAJORITY, will have fought in vain, only to watch in horror as the lure of money and power have overcome their Holy Crusade to clean up the Church, by having Apuron found guilty and defrocked, and by having justice for Walter, Roy, and Roland.

GUAM DAILY POST: ATTORNEY DEMANDS ANSWERS

A canon law expert from Rome who also works at Boston College has directly contacted three victims of sexual abuse to seek their depositions. The attorney who represents the victims has called for answers, threatening to file an ethical complaint if communication with his clients continues without his consent.

In a letter to Rev. James J. Conn, attorney David Lujan questioned why the religious professor contacted three of his clients – Roland P.L. Sondia, Roy T. Quintanilla and Walter G. Denton – to discuss their cases for a matter “not related to the lawsuits on Guam.” CONTINUED

THE DIANA'S "GOOD NEWS"

Our French Underground reports the following:

After scurrying out of Guam in late May or early June, Tony popped up in Rome where he gave his now infamous video message saying that it was HE who had requested the Holy Father to send Hon.

He probably would have stayed there under the protective wings of Kiko and Filoni but his Visa ran out after 90 days.

He departed Italy sometime in July and our people have reported seeing him in New Jersey, New York and Boston.

He returned to Italy briefly in August, probably to follow up on his denied demand that Hon be removed, and then scurried back to the East Coast, where he remains in hiding.

Reports say that he has attempted to grow facial hair (LOL) to disguise himself. This is funny since Tony always sought fame and now that he has it he is trying to disguise himself and hides.

Apparently he feels he will be safer in Guam because he is still under the illusion that his opponents are only a few people and that the majority of Catholics, especially with the backing of the Neo's, will defend him.

Thus he plans to return to Guam for the December 8 celebrations, reclaim his diocese, and personally install Archbishop Byrnes as his "go-for."

This is the "good news" The Diana has been referring to.

The Vatican is aware of his plan but appears unable to stop him.

I told you.

Come on back, Tony. Here's a glimpse of your welcoming committee:

PROVIDENCE: DENTON VS APURON

Publsihed by Tim

The Kikos are always telling us about how "God provides." Yes, he does. On Tony's 71st birthday, the Feast of All Saints no less, God provided Walter Denton with the opportunity for justice so long denied him and so kept out of reach by Tony "no one can get me" Apuron.

NOTE TO HON. CALL JACKIE. LOL!

David Lujan demanding information from archdiocese

http://www.kuam.com/story/32277999/2016/06/22/david-lujan-demanding-information-from-archdiocese

Here it comes, Archbishop Hon. It appears Attorney David Lujan has a different idea of "urgent measures" than you do.

Do you even know who the attorney for the archdiocese is? Will you be calling the trained lawyer?

Good luck. Maybe you better find out who David Lujan is. He eats "trained lawyers" for appetizers and spits out the seeds. Your Vatican career is about to go POOF! Better call Jackie.

P.S. Look what just happened today in Gallup, New Mexico:

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Gallup, N.M., on Tuesday won court approval of its plan to compensate clergy sexual abuse victims, paving the way for it to exit bankruptcy.
Following a hearing at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Albuquerque, N.M., Judge David Thuma signed off on the $25 million plan, which is largely funded by contributions from the diocese, insurance carriers, parishes and sales of the diocese’s property.
Do you still want to compare Apuron's victims to some woman who brought a false allegation against some bishop? You're going to cause this diocese to lose more money than Apuron ever gave away. So sad. And to think that the pope sent you here himself. Major fail.

OOOOOOOOHHHHHH LAAAAAAARRRRRRRYYYYYY!

Accusers' lawyer presses anew for answers on Church investigation

MY NOTE: Archbishop Hon has asked for patience. These victims have waited as long as 40 years. The people of Guam have waited as long as 30 years (Apuron's horrid reign.) More recently, they gave Archbishop Hon nearly a year and half to do something about Apuron's mess since his investigation in January 2015.
