MAINA
Our priest DID NOT read the letter, DID NOT distribute copies, and DID NOT ask us to sign a petition asking Governor Calvo to veto the bill. What he did was provide a powerful homily based on today's Gospel. During the consecration of the Host, he faltered and appeared to be on the verge of tears. Perhaps he was appealing to THE highest authority and was given the blessing he needed to disobey. Thank you, Pali' Richard Kidd!
Thank you for your courage, Fr Richard.
ReplyDeletethank you pale' richard.
ReplyDeleteGod bless and keep you Fr. Kidd. Si yu'us ma'ase.
ReplyDeleteA real priest indeed!
ReplyDeleteSi Yu'os maase ya un binendisi, Pale Richard Kidd! The rest appear to have chosen mammon.
ReplyDeleteTeri, One appears to be eating sweet and sour pork.
DeleteThis is awesome! God bless you Pale Richard Kidd!
ReplyDeletePale Richard a real Chammoro priest who has. "..COURAGE ". Where are the rest of them?
ReplyDeleteMaybe hiding behind their cloaks and shivering behind the ambo. Really sad because they had microphones. Bless you Pale Richard!
DeletePale Richard, thank you for your courage. Obedience is to God, not errant bishops. I am so proud of you.
ReplyDeleteThank you Fr. Kidd. You are true to your calling and not allowing materialistic buildings stand between the faith. God is who we all stand by. The truth will come out and the people running this diocese should be ashamed of themselves for not protecting the faith. It's not the assets. It's about the people, and the innocent victims who were wronged by predators who hide behind the cloth.
ReplyDeleteYou Fr. Kidd are a TRUE PRIEST....strong in the faith (fortes in fíde)!!
God Bless Fr. Kidd and all those with courage and conviction to do what is right and just.
ReplyDeleteAmen to fr Richard...I care about what's right not about what's property.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless you Father Richard Kidd. One of two priest remaining that can still pull our church out of its cess pit. Now I have another reason to start attending Mass in Maina. Are you still serving breakfast?
ReplyDeleteThank you and God bless you, Fr. Richard Kidd! Despite the fact that you are easily considered the "Baby Priest," having celebrated your third Sacerdotal Anniversary in July, your courage and fortitude as well as your obedience to God establishes you as a role model of how a REAL priest should act.
ReplyDeleteFr.Richard good character potential as a future leader of Guam.
ReplyDelete- I am so happy to hear this about Father Kidd! I was on Guam and I had a chance to see him in Toto while My Favorite Father Mike was in the States and it was pleasure to hear the sermons given by a "True Catholic Priest" just like Father Mike (just had to throw Father Mike in)! If only the other priests on Guam can follow in their footsteps! God Bless You Father Kidd and Father Mike Crisostomo!!
ReplyDeleteBiba Pale' Richard. I didn't realize he was the priest of Ma'ina. My father just passed away and his funeral is Saturday and we cannot have his funeral in his own village church of Agat. Their "rule" is no funerals on Saturdays so we are forced to go to Ma'ina. Thank you again Pale Richard. HOW CAN THE AGAT CHURCH TELL US WE CANNOT HAVE HIS FUNERAL IN OUR OWN CHURCH ON A NORMAL SATURDAY!!?? It is the Neos.
ReplyDeletethat's right Chris, Alberto acts like he cares but really doesn't give a crap. Didn't anyone else notice that the office on weekends are run by his Neo's.
DeleteI agree with Chris, we also had to seek another parish to have the funeral for my mother in law . This is really sad, what is happening in our village. Remove the NEO priest ALBERTO from OUR AGat church.
