PRAYING WITHOUT PERMISSION

While most of us await the "all clear" from our government to go back to church or back to work or back to getting regular haircuts, some of our Catholic laity have decided to go back to praying together without permission from anyone.

As reported in the Guam Daily Post:
On Wednesday about 20 people gathered at the former police “koban" in Barrigada for a rosary in celebration of Our Lady of Fatima, the Blessed Virgin Mary, despite a government mandate limiting gathering to no more than 10 people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I thought if they are opening the mall, then we should be able to have our rosary.”
– Juanita Cruz, 79, founder of the Our Lady of Fatima Barrigada Group

On the same day, another group gathered outside the Cathedral and did the same. (Facebook link to video.)
