THE NUMBER ONE JW POST IS...

By Tim Rohr

This month JW has had far more traffic than we have been getting for quite awhile. The number of views for the 30 days is nearly 87,000.

Our more recent posts get plenty of views, but nothing that would drive numbers like this, so I suspected that the views were of older posts.

I did a 30 day report to see which posts were getting the most views, and the top 10 are all posts about the Neocatechumenal Way or Apuron stuff. Here's the list with links to the posts.

IF THIS IS TRUE...

AND APURON DANCES WHILE HIS DIOCESE BURNS

TESTIMONY: WHY THE NCW IS A CULT.

ROME FIDDLED WHILE AGANA BURNED. IT'S TOO LATE TO MAKE NICE.

BISHOP ATHANASIUS SCHNEIDER: THE DOCTRINE OF KIKO ARGUELLO IS HERESY...A GRAVE ABUSE

The No. 1 post with the most views "IF THIS IS TRUE" is a post from March 18, 2015, and it is about the misfortunes of a priest caught in a compromising situation with an underaged female at a beach in Agat. News is that he's returned to Guam. Is that why this post is getting so many views?

    1. Scroll down on the right side bar till you see VISITORS then click on it. However, the Flag counter doesn't count all the page views, just number of visitors. But at least it shows you where they're from.

  2. good morning, the renewed interest in your blog is linked to the new increase in ncw membership around the world. I believe this is the case for all the pages that talk about ncw both positively and negatively. In Europe it was thought that the pandemic was the end of the new movements in the Catholic Church, in fact for some it was, for others instead after a period of confusion it was the opposite, especially 3 -Renewal in the Holy Spirit (turbo) -New Horizons -NCW

  3. Several years ago I did a post called, "The Bloom is off the rose" (https://thoughtfulcatholic.com/?page_id=29888) which used the Google Trends tool to measure search engine interest in the Neocatechumenal Way in several major languages. The results are the same today:
    https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=all&q=camino%20neocatecumenal,neocatechumenal%20way,cammino%20neocatecumenale,caminho%20neocatecumenal&hl=en-US

If there is great growth in the NCW today, then the new and potential members sure are incurious!

    1. yes, this page is actually an exception, now everything takes place mainly on Instagram and Facebook. Those who mention the Medijugorie groups are also correct, pilgrimages to Bosnia have picked up strongly, I can see it from the advertising publications of travel agencies specializing in religious tourism, while unfortunately Lourdes continues to have difficulties, before the pandemic the destination of 1/2 million pilgrims every month.

  5. Members of any group promoting Christian Zionism must, if they are intellectually honest, be questioning the genocide in Gaza and the role of Zionists! Sadly this it now seems includes members of the NCW!
