Sharleen Santos-Bamba, niece of a man who claims Achbishop Anthony Apuron sexually abused him, talks about her uncle's decision to come forward about the alleged abuse decades later. Maria Hernandez/PDN
"Who is going to save our Church? Not our bishops, not our priests and religious. It is up to you, the people. You have the minds, the eyes, the ears to save the Church. Your mission is to see that your priests act like priests, your bishops, like bishops, and your religious act like religious." - Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, 1972

My uncle is NOT a liar! He's a good man! He speaks the truth! His coming out is about Anthony Apron and not the church.
ReplyDeleteThis is why your family will need to stay close to each other, and support one another.
DeleteUnderstand that this man (Apuron) and those who propped him up, are vicious and self-serving people, who pretend to be Catholic to better abuse and use people.
We all pray for your uncle and all of you.
You will have a network of support that shall surprise you.
Yet you have to understand that when you fight these kind of individuals, it is similar to fighting the devil himself.
Deceit, lies, destruction, is what these people do best.
Make a strong circle around your uncle, be strong for one another. People look up to you, your family and your uncle.
God bless
May God bless your family.
ReplyDeleteWe know who the liar is and it not the man who had the courage to come forward and publicly state the sexual abuse he suffered at the groping hands of the archvillain.
