LET ME MAKE THIS VERY CLEAR

AnonymousMarch 29, 2017 at 5:07 AM
Tim,you say Walter,Doris and her son champ were the nails to Apuron's coffin..Can you please explain and help me understand this..All 3 of them testified including Roy and Roland. Now my question is what makes those 3 testimonies more credible than Roy and Roland...Sonny was the Victim in this case,His mother and Brother WERE only repeating what "Supposedly"' were said to them..How do we know they are actually telling the truth?..Sonny is dead but Walter,Roy and Roland are well and alive..I can understand you giving Walter the credit but you are NOT being fair here...Roy and Roland are the actual victims..All 3 men were Abused by Apuron NOT Doris and Champ..As far as I am concerned, there is a Big difference here..

If I had the slightest inkling that any of these accounts were not credible, I would have not gone out there in the media and invited Apuron to sue me.
Rohr, who writes about the local Catholic Church on his blog site JungleWatch, said Tuesday he welcomes the legal action that the Archdiocese is planning, hoping that everything will be revealed in court.
“Bring it on,” said Rohr. - Pacific Daily News, May 31, 2016

And let me be clearer still: I was then, and am still, the only person in all of this NOT to have any legal protection. I was then, and am still, a clear open target for Apuron and his millions of dollars of NCW-syndicate money. There is nothing protecting me but THE TRUTH.

However, my bet, a bet on which I placed my entire life, was that the people I was standing up for would TELL THE TRUTH, and not just sit it out and wait for some money to come in.

In the early days of this there was no promise of money and no law that would enable Apuron's victims to sue him. There was only the TRUTH and my belief that the TRUTH was so powerful that the public would be immediately convinced as well as Rome.

Each of Apuron's victims said they only wanted the TRUTH to be known and that they wanted to face their perpetrator. This is why after each of them came forward, their accounts were immediately hand delivered, by themselves, to a church office. The accounts included a demand for justice. This is why when each of them recently received their letter from Rome, it stated:

“As this Tribunal has been informed of your readiness to be heard in the above-titled case regarding accusations against His Excellency, the Most Reverend Anthony Sablan Apuron, O.F.M. Cap, at the direction of the Presiding Judge, I am forwarding to you his decree of citation by which you are called for said hearing.”

The Presiding Judge was responding to THEIR REQUESTS TO BE HEARD because the Presiding Judge had received THEIR REQUESTS.

Now, remember, I am THE ONLY ONE exposed here. I went to bat for each of these people. I taunted Apuron into saying the stupid stuff that got him kicked out of here (the defamation stuff which was really written by Waldo).

I did this all on purpose because up until the opportunity to file a defamation suit against Apuron, neither Roy, Walter, Doris, or Roland, had ANY LEGAL RECOURSE to protect themselves against Apuron. So I went out and provoked exactly that: an opportunity for legal recourse. The only problem was: I HAD NONE FOR MYSELF.

Thus, for me, everything hung on Apuron's victims testifying at the canonical trial and giving the judge the stuff to take Apuron down. In addition, I had my own stuff, most of which is already public on this blog, but I wanted to make sure the canonical court knew it.

I had so much confidence in everything that for months I hung myself out there with no protection. So when word came that no one was going to testify...do you get the picture?

Now, on to the testimonies.

I said Walter and Doris' testimony put the nails in Apuron's coffin, not because their testimonies are any more credible than Roy's or Roland's, but because of the degree of severity. Roy and Roland were molested and both had the good sense to run. Walter (who was younger than Roy and Roland at the time he was violated) was slammed face down into the bed and anally penetrated and was too afraid to run. And it can also be determined from Champ Quinata's testimony about what his dead brother revealed to him, that the same had happened to Sonny.

Any court would give "penetration" greater consideration for the severity of the violation. It has nothing to do with the truth. All told the truth. And, it also has nothing to do with how each person was personally affected by those wounds. It's simply an objective thing a court would look at. Thus, those two testimonies, and especially Walter's, would carry greater weight before a judge when it comes to convicting and sentencing Apuron.

Next, both Walter and Sonny had secondary "witnesses." In Sonny's case, his brother Champ's testimony is as close to an eye witness as you can get. Read it here. In Walter's case. He had the secondary opportunity to confront Apuron in Washington in the year 2000. Walter's detailed recall of this encounter lends a second layer of credence to his original account. And it may also be that Walter has offered the names of the hosts who held that party in order to verify that Apuron was there as well as Walter.

I am certain that the person who wrote the above comment is a relative of one of the victim's who had up until now refused to testify. (As I said, two did.) But other than standing behind your relative at the press conference, I didn't see any family members of any victim out there on the street with me challenging Apuron day after day.

Update: I have been made aware that all the victims intend to testify before the canonical court. Thank you.

GUAM DAILY POST EDITORIAL

Time to end the boycott, time for Apuron to face problems in Guam

On Friday, the Archdiocese of Agana acknowledged that Guam's mother Catholic church, the Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica, stands on the brink of financial collapse.

Over the past two years, the Cathedral-Basilica had taken on a $1.9 million debt, and the debt is getting tougher to carry, along with paying the bills to keep the church running. Collections from churchgoers have shrunk to less than half of what they once were, from about $10,000 a week to $4,000 a week on average, the Archdiocesan Finance Council said in a press conference on Friday. A receivership has been named to manage the church's finances. CONTINUED

A WARNING TO THOSE THAT SAY F U

Posted by Tim

I understand that most don't understand.

If anyone has been following this blog for any length of time, it could be easily seen that I don't state the conclusion at the beginning. In fact, almost all the titles of my thousands of posts are taken from the last line of the post.

My MO is to reveal the story in pieces, sometimes just over the course of a single post, sometimes many posts, and sometimes over many months and now years. I do this on purpose. It's the only leverage I have.

It is obvious from the amount of comments that my last couple of posts have created a rage amongst some. The posts mentioned no names and the content was intentionally cryptic. The fact that what I wrote enraged some is evidence that there are some who know exactly what I am talking about.

I am aware of at least one person who has essentially said, "F U, I only care about the money." Actually, I don't have a problem with that. It's what happened after that - which I will not reveal here - that made me decide to set out a cryptic warning in the previous two posts. But let me make it plain here:

What the Legislature can give, the Legislature can take away.

If we want to get rid of the law that is now enabling certain persons to attack us, we don't need any court to find it unconstitutional, we only need to introduce and pass a new bill that will either completely abrogate the current law, or at least severely restrict it. Laws can be amended you know.

And it wouldn't be hard to do. No senator who voted yes on this bill really wanted to vote yes. For most, it's their Church too. The real reason this bill passed is because the accounts of what Apuron did were so horrific, that there was no way to avoid the public pressure that had piled on in those public hearings.  Of those accounts, Walter Denton's and Doris Concepcion's, along with her son Champ's, testimonies were the nails in Apuron's coffin. (All three here.)

At first, the only objective was to bring Apuron to justice, so the bill was written to only hold perpetrators responsible, not institutions. But Archbishop Hon, at the instruction of the Red Pope Filoni, mocked and sneered at our efforts. This sent off a firestorm that led to a new bill being written that held institutions liable as well. You can read what happened in Bob Klitzkie's public testimony on Bill 326-33.

Make no mistake. It was the PUBLIC outrage and the unmatched activism of those who had had enough of this evil that got that bill through the Legislature. And that same PUBLIC outrage and unmatched activism can be turned in an instant against those who would callously say F U to us now.

In addition to the hesitant vote of the legislature, there was also the great trepidation of a very large number of voters. At the 11th hour, Hon tried to get a signature campaign going to get the governor to veto the bill. They only had one Sunday to do it but still were able to get over 4000 signatures. Given that the amount of the law suits have now passed the 100 Million mark, for which the good people left in the pews will have to pay the bill, it would not be hard to get 10,000 signatures, 20,000 signatures in support of a bill that would take away that gravy train.

I speak as one who worked harder than anyone to get the current law enacted. And I promise I will work harder than anyone to kill it if I have to. Of course I do not want to do that and I am sincerely glad that the law has enabled some to unburden themselves of years of suffering. And I will work to see that this law stays in place so long as I see it to be the servant of good that it was set out to be. Let's hope that one or two who may turn to greed don't ruin it for the rest.

Meanwhile: APURON OUT!

IT'S ABOUT GRATITUDE. AND FOR US, GRATITUDE MEANS ONLY ONE THING!

Posted by Tim

Apparently my previous post was a little too cryptic for the average reader. So let me outline this for EVERYONE.

First, let's get this straight.

Not a single priest or bishop will be made to pay personally for these abuses, at least not financially. Most of these guys are dead and gone, or like Brouillard, too old or doesn't have a cent to his name. Apuron might have a few bucks, but it's pennies compared to what will be paid.

No, the only people who will be made to pay for these abuses are the same people who built the church in the first place. They gave property, money, time, talent, treasure, sweat, prayers, and whole portions of their lives to build and serve the Church on Guam, not because of any bishop or priest, but because they believed in the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church and care about the eternal destination of their souls and the souls of those they love.

WE WILL FIND YOU

By Tim Rohr

The number of persons claiming to have been abused by Archdiocese of Agana clergy now number in the 30's with many more to come, I'm sure. And the law suit amount, now into the 100-plus Million, is rivaling the amounts of much larger dioceses.

As the person who took the public risk of breaking all of this open, not to mention the hundreds of hours of research and writing this cost me, I very much want to see each and ever victim receive justice.

I don't know what that "justice" will eventually look like. For the most part it will have a dollar figure on it and I hope a sincere apology from the perpetrator if they are still alive, and of course from the archdiocesan leadership, now headed by a bishop who had nothing to do with this mess.

And here is what I want in return.

I want each and everyone of you (the victims) to sincerely desire the purification and rebuilding of the Catholic Church on Guam. And if possible, I want you to work for it, to join in the efforts to rebuild this Church, and if nothing else, then at least pray for it. How will I know this is done? I won't. It's just what I want.

BUT I CAN TELL YOU THIS.

If I EVER get the slightest hint that anyone of these people, ESPECIALLY the persons I personally worked with, that they are only in this for the money, then I will use every ounce of energy that I employed to bring this about in the first place, to take down, discredit, hound, pursue, smear, expose, and otherwise pin you to the wall with Apuron, the Stinking Monk, and the whole filthy lot.

We risked everything to help you. We risked everything to do the right thing. And if you think you can give us "the finger" and walk off with your filthy check, then we will make sure the whole world knows who and WHAT you are.

For that hundreds of millions of dollars in sex abuse bills will not come from the perverts who used and abused you. It will come from us. From the people who helped you. From the people who worked day and night to get the law enacted so you could see some measure of justice. We were willing to pay that bill to clean our Church.

So believe me, if you are only in this for the money, WE WILL FIND YOU.

RECLAIMING OUR CHURCH - ONE PICKET AT A TIME

posted by Jose M.

LOL!

Let's be clear, let's be very very clear.  An archbishop is not the Church.  "Defrock Apuron" is not a "sign against their own Church."  It's sign in defense of our Church.  It is a sign that proclaims our intent to protect our Church.  It is a sign that our Church is not a church of one man and his cult.

REAL NUMBERS, NOT MANIPULATED BY KIKO.

Posted by LaPaz, Jungle Watch Correspondent from Spain.

A few days ago the Spanish Episcopal Conference published data on priestly vocations studying in Spain during the current 20016-2017. The tables collect data from each diocese where each seminar is incardinated. distinguishing between diocesan seminar and Redemptoris Mater (neocatechumenal) seminar.

It shows the number of seminarians of each one during the past course, 2015-2016, the number of them during the current course, the number of dropouts, new incomes, how many decided to go to a different seminary, number of ordained priests in 2015 and 2016.

Data sings. Here is the link to PDF.

THIS IS THE LEGACY OF ARCH-KIKO MSGR. DAVID C. QUITUGUA

How serendipitous that arch-kiko-freak, David the VG, David the Villain,  David the "Vulnus", the same arch-kiko-freak who with his fellow kiko-freak and stooge, Adrian the Aimless, gleefully showed up at the steps of the Cathedral rectory on July 26, 2014, to hand then-rector, Msgr. James Benavente, a filthy decree removing him from the Cathedral for so-called "financial mismanagement!"

How serendipitous that is now the same arch-kiko-freak, David the VG, David the Villain,  David the "Vulnus"who is the CAUSE of this emergency and unprecedented measure.

Not only did the collection collapse from $10,000 per week to an anemic $4000 under David the Vulnus, there is this:

Untalan said about $1.1 million of the cathedral's debt is outstanding payables to suppliers, vendors and other creditors.
He said the remaining $800,000is owed to the Bank of Guam, and the council has not yet determined how that money, which refinanced part of an older loan, was spent.
The original loan was used for renovations and repairs at the cathedral, Untalan said. That loan was almost paid off when it was refinanced and a new amount was borrowed from the bank, he said.

It's not hard to guess where David laundered that missing $800,000.

THE ONLY QUESTION THAT MATTERS

Posted by Tim

Don't get caught in The Diana spin. The only question that matters is:

Why is it, that after nearly ten years since the NCW leadership was instructed to conform its communion rite to that which was required by the liturgical books, is the NCW still ignoring the instruction?

The Instruction was issued on December 1, 2005 by the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Sacrament, the highest authority in the Church on the Liturgy, which issued the Instruction beginning with the words: "I am to inform you of the Holy Father’s decisions."

Among other things the Instruction required the NCW:
On the manner of receiving Holy Communion, a period of transition (not exceeding two years) is granted to the Neocatechumenal Way to pass from the widespread manner of receiving Holy Communion in its communities (seated, with a cloth-covered table placed at the center of the church instead of the dedicated altar in the sanctuary) to the normal way in which the entire Church receives Holy Communion. This means that the Neocatechumenal Way must begin to adopt the manner of distributing the Body and Blood of Christ that is provided in the liturgical books.
A period of two years was granted to make the change. That means that as of December 1, 2007, the NCW was to "adopt the manner of distributing the Body and Blood of Christ that is provided in the liturgical books."

We also note in this instruction that the NCW was required to change from "a cloth-covered table placed at the center of the church instead of the dedicated altar in the sanctuary." (Of course the Kiko's don't even use a church or any consecrated space if they can help it.)

Archbishop Byrnes' own Instruction was issued on March 15, 2017. That means that, at least in our diocese (though it is true throughout the NCW world), the Neocats have blatantly ignored "the Holy Father's decisions" regarding the very center of the Holy Eucharist, the Sacrament of Unity.

We must also note that in speaking through the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Sacraments, the Holy Father is not speaking personally, but Magisterially

This is important to note because the Kiko's like to quote this or that bishop or cardinal or even the pope and bend those words to their own use. However, words spoken personally, even if by the pope, carry NO magisterial weight. This is why when absolute governance is required, the governance is carried henceforth through the appropriate channels of the Magisterium, and this is what Pope Benedict did on December 1, 2005.

Thus, this is the question for THE DIANA:

Why, TEN YEARS later, are you still persisting in your disobedience to the legitimate authority of the Magisterium of the Holy Catholic Church?

If there ever was evidence that the NCW does NOT respect the Magisterium of the Holy Catholic Church, and thus places itself outside the this same Holy Catholic Church, ten years of blatant disobedience in this regard IS THAT evidence.

After posting the news link about Archbishop Byrnes' letter regarding the NCW to my Facebook Timeline, I received a few comments asking "what does this mean?"

Here is my reply:

At the root of many of the problems in the Archdiocese of Agana is the sinister insinuation of the beliefs and practices of a man named Kiko Arguello who founded the Neocatechumenal Way.

Kiko's teaching are at odds with true Catholic teaching, specifically as regards the Eucharist. He does not believe or teach that the Eucharist, the consecrated bread and wine, actually are the Real Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, but that Christ is simply present amongst the community during their "eucharist."

CHURCH PARALYZES NCW'S RECRUITMENT IN GUAM

Due to the "anguish" caused by the Neocatechumenal Way in the diocese
The Church paralyzes the recruitment of 'Kikos' in Guam for one year
The archbishop will appoint an episcopal delegate to review the Catechetical Directory of the movement
Cameron Doody, March 17, 2017 at 7:37 PM

(Cameron Doody) .- A hard blow to the Kikos of Guam. Archbishop of Agana, Michael J. Byrnes, has announced a "pause" for the recruitment of new members of the Neocatechumenal Way on the island for a year, along with the appointment of an Episcopal delegate to review his Catechetical Directory, The "anguish" felt in the local Church by some of the movement's distinctive practices.

Since being appointed to Guam last October, Byrnes has worked to dismantle the influence of the Camino on the island, which had reached exaggerated proportions thanks to the patronage of Archbishop Anthony Apuron, the former leader of the Guamian Church currently suspended between Accusations that he sexually abused altar boys in the 1970s. Such work has, for example, taken control of one of the seminars in the United States, property with a multi-million dollar value that Apuron would have transferred to Camino leaders based in the state of New Jersey.

GUAM'S HORROR MAKES NEWS IN "THE ECONOMIST"

THE Pacific island of Guam is more than 12,000km from Vatican City. Yet it was in this far-flung American territory that last month the two most contentious issues facing Pope Francis—the scandal of clerical sex abuse and a rebellion by traditionalists—intertwined. Cardinal Raymond Burke spent two days on Guam presiding at the church trial of Archbishop Anthony Apuron, who is accused of molesting altar boys. The archbishop is the highest-ranking Catholic cleric to be tried on sex-abuse charges. The proceedings could last years. Cardinal Burke, an arch-conservative, is the pope’s most outspoken critic. IN MENTAL GYMNASTICS, A FLIP BECOMES A FLOP

posted by Jose M.

It has been an entertaining 24 hours reading the blog of the Herald of Pius.  "Diana" has been busy twisting and turning the latest NCW narrative that even a flow chart cannot help with clarity.

Now with their latest post, they have taken a direct swipe at Archbishop Byrnes' call for unity.  Diana attempts to dismantle and discredit the sentiment and clear instructions of Archbishop Byrnes by utilizing and manipulating Pope Francis' speech on diversity, as if Pope Francis was addressing the liturgy in the same context as Archbishop Byrnes!

This is just one of many example of the methods and means that the NCW leadership will practice in order to corral and rouse their communities.  They cannot state facts and truth so they misrepresent the words of others to promote their lies.

Diana attempts to demonstrate that Archbishop Byrnes is contradicting Pope Francis. However, the context of Pope Francis speech is wholly different from the context of Byrnes' pastoral letter.

In other words, Diana has propped up a straw man argument.

LUIS CAMACHO ANNIVERSARY

If it had just been an error in judgement, even one as egregious as what Fr. Luis was arrested for two years ago today (and on the feastday of the patron saint of the seminary he supposedly graduated from), normal human compassion would have long ago taken hold and the incident forgiven and forgotten.

But his immediate and mysterious disappearance, complicated by the tragic and comical bungling of his case by his handlers (The Adrian et al.), and then his resurfacing in Qatar as the leader of a youth retreat, and then the monstrous entry of the real villain in all this, His Excellency Camillo Ballin....well all this led to immediate international attention and a scandal of dire consequences given the sensitivity of things right now in the Arabian Peninsula, plus the wide open evidence of what many have long suspected that Kiko and Filoni Baloney's NCW is an "underground railroad" for squirreling away clerical misfits, perverts or otherwise.

Even now, Luis Camacho remains a gigantic liability for the Archdiocese of Agana, which means YOU and ME. Last we heard, after we uncovered him in Qatar, he was squirreled away again to Kiko's outpost on the banks of the Galilee, where (Archbishop Hon was told) he is "too distraught" to speak to anyone.

Sadly, Luis Camacho remains more a victim of all this than his own "victim." How many more like Luis Camacho are locked into a cycle of abuse that pretends to be a seminary?

So we keep this story in front of you, so that the likes of The Adrian, Apuron, Ballin, Gennarini, Kiko, Filoni, and all who conspire to traffic in humans for the sake of their filthy empire may some day get what's coming to them.

LETTER FROM LOU KLITZKIE

My dear friends,

Sunday, the 19th of March, 2015 will mark the two- year anniversary of the CCOG village meeting at the Yigo  gym where our  protests in front of the Cathedral began. The first static display was held across the street from the cathedral on Wednesday, the 25th. The message then was the wrongdoing and poor leadership or lack-thereof of Apuron. And the message was for apuron to resign, to return the Yona property to the Archdiocese of Agana, to restore Fr. Paul Gofigan and Msgr. James Benavente to their respective positions,

We have come a long way.....Yona property is returned to the Archdiocese   of Agana, the two priests are restored, Frs. Pius and Edivaldo  are out of here. We continue our battle to remove and defrock Apuron. We are the only ones that can do that. The finish line is not far now ....a few more steps. Please rally your family, friends, and neighbors to come out and join us Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 9:00-9:45 a.m. in front of Cathedral Basilica.

God bless us all,

THEY LIE, THEY LIE, THEY LIE, THEY LIE

Posted by Tim

What this is of course is an admission that The Diana et al. have been LYING to their followers for years about the "permission" to distribute and receive Holy Communion in a manner different that what is required by the Church.

Notice that neither in this Diana-blurb or the Zoltan-blurb do they make mention of the very center of Archbishop Byrnes' directive which is their illicit communion rite. The do not mention this because they intend to ignore the instruction.

IF WE CAN TRUST HIM IN THIS...WE CAN TRUST HIM MOVING FORWARD

FROM THE PNC STORY:

"I think this is a great act of courage, as I  said, I believe Byrnes to be the only bishop in world that has actually addressed this head on. Other bishops have declared moratoriums on the neo, but nobody that I know has actually addressed the 'illicit' Eucharistic practice," added Rohr. "He has not only every right to do this but he actually, as a bishop, has a responsibility to do it. It’s the bishop who’s supposed to sort of police the liturgy in his diocese and every bishop has that responsibility. If we can trust Archbishop Byrnes to do the right thing in this, I believe we can trust him moving forward."

WHAT CHANGE?

ZOLTAN: "I feel sorry that Archbishop Michael felt necessary to effect these regulation."

THE HOLY CATHOLIC CHURCH: REDEMPTIONIS SACRAMENTUM [19.] The diocesan Bishop, the first steward of the mysteries of God in the particular Church entrusted to him, is the moderator, promoter and guardian of her whole liturgical life.[39] For “the Bishop, endowed with the fullness of the Sacrament of Order, is ‘the steward of the grace of the high Priesthood’,[40] especially in the Eucharist which he either himself offers or causes to be offered,[41] by which the Church continually lives and grows”.[42]

ZOLTAN: "The requirement of celebrating the Eucharist at a consecrated altar will upset the communities."

THE HOLY CATHOLIC CHURCH: Can.  932 §1. The eucharistic celebration is to be carried out in a sacred place unless in a particular case necessity requires otherwise; in such a case the celebration must be done in a decent place.

ZOLTAN: "I am ready to embrace the change."

DAILY POST: ARCHDIOCESE PAUSES NCW GROWTH

PDN: BYRNES SETS NORMS FOR MASS

THE IDES OF MARCH BODE WELL THIS TIME AROUND - THANK YOU ARCHBISHOP BYRNES

Posted by Tim Rohr

As I outlined in my post of March 8, WE WAIT, the monstrosities taking place before our eyes now in the Archdiocese of Agana can be traced back to January 2006, when Archbishop Apuron publicly took sides with the Neocatechumenal Way against the magisterial authority of the Holy Catholic Church (vis-a-vis the CDW Instruction of Dec. 1, 2005) as specifically regards the distribution and reception of Holy Communion.

At the root of the NCW's leadership and Apuron's refusal to conform to what the Church required is a fundamental difference of belief about what Holy Communion is. And what Holy Communion is is at the very heart of what is the Holy Catholic Church. Without getting into the theology of it (we've gone there before), the NCW has fought tooth and nail to maintain their illicit practice because it supports Kiko Arguello's illicit (and probably heretical) doctrine

But now, and whereas Apuron was the first bishop in the world to publicly support Kiko's heresy and illicit communion rite, Archbishop Byrnes appears to be the first bishop in the world to publicly DEMAND that it be abrogated and that the norms of the Holy Catholic Church be maintained.

I say the "first bishop in the world" because I am not aware of any other bishop, even those who have imposed a moratorium on the NCW, who have directly targeted the illicit practice and demanded full obedience of the NCW to what the GIRM requires and what the NCW Statute permits.

I say if we can trust Archbishop Byrnes to do the right thing in this regard, the very center of the division, then we can trust him moving forward on the many other things. That does not mean we can relax our vigilance. The Kiko's will wage an all out underground war against Byrnes and try to trip him up, or, failing that, they will simply continue to disobey as they have from the beginning. We must help Archbishop Byrnes continue to do the right thing.

Meanwhile: APURON OUT!

THE REAL EVIL

Posted by Tim
Today, we read about another case of clergy sex abuse. The real evil in all of this is that Apuron knew about all of it. But he did nothing because of his own history. The real evil is that knowing his history, he did not recuse himself from the selection process of bishop. In fact, many know that he sought the position as the primary means of covering that history.

PRAYER REQUEST

Dear Friends. I am copying here a message from a friend. Please keep her daughter in your intentions. Thank you. Tim

My daughter, 17 years old, is in the hospital because a severe bulimic disorder and depression. It is a very horrible illness, her weight was only 72 pounds, her heart does not work well because she is extremely weak. We are fighting against it since four years ago, this is the hell.
Pray for her, please.

GRAB A SIGN - APURON OUT!

Posted by Tim

There have been many calls for Byrnes to defrock Apuron or to at least get rid of his name from the Eucharistic prayer. Believe me, if there is anyone on this island who wants both of those things it is ME!

However, we must keep our heads on. Archbishop Byrnes does NOT have the authority to do either. Only the pope can do that. This is why it is critical to keep up the public protests. That's what gets into the press, and that's what Rome and Pope Francis sees.

I knew from the outset that the only thing that would motivate Rome would be public shame. If there is anything that moves those guys, even more than money, it's the embarrassment of a public scandal. They want that stuff to go away immediately and they have a long history of making that happen.

HERE'S TO MUD IN OUR EYES

posted by Jose M.

Last week, an op/ed penned by a Mr. Pat Olivia was published in the Pacific Daily News.

In that essay, he wrote (emphasis mine):
I understand members of both esteemed organizations [CCOG & LFM] want retribution for those who may have done wrong. But do they realize that each time they picket and each time they speak up in the media or are seen out in public as a group, they are nourishing that same division in our church that they themselves are praying to heal? They drag the face of our Catholic Church — the whole church — in the mud in the eyes of everyone, even in front of the Protestant churches and their members.

I won't be writing a seething retort in this post (Although I did respond to him on the comment section of the page of said op/ed - see link above) but I am reminded of John 9: 6-7 and offer this:

Our Church has been tainted by the heinous sins of those clergy who not only engaged in sexually abusing innocent youth in their care, but also systematically hid known abuse by shuffling these priest around, suppressing any reports of abuse, and intimidating anyone who dared expose the molestation and rapes.

OKAY. THIS IS GOOD TO KNOW.

Like you, I was initially concerned that the one year "vacation" for Edivaldo was another reward a la Adrian (though I still don't know how March 7, 2017 to October 1, 2017 adds up to one year).

It appears that is not the case.

WHERE'S WALDO AND OTHER STUFF

BTW, if you didn't read Chuck White's post MORE GEMS FROM KIKO...AND AN OPPORTUNITY, read it. Read it and weep (between laughs of course). But weep for the church leadership which for almost 40 years has been suckered into (or bought off) such a farce.

And speaking of farces, how ironic that the two impostors I was gonna sue (still might), have now been both wrapped up and shipped out-a-here: The Adrian and The Waldo.

You will recall that as Apuron's Gotterdammerung ramped up and the walls of Valhalla caught flame and with Tony on the run, Adrian and Waldo took the reins from within the chancery bunker and began firing off the press releases (and even a pretty good movie featuring Dakon Tenorio) that gave us the ammunition to finally turn their own guns on them: namely a defamation suit.

CLARIFYING MISPERCEPTIONS ABOUT THE SETTLEMENT FUND

Posted by Tim

Perhaps because we have been so conditioned to immediately distrust anything coming from the chancery, and rightly so, there were many misperceptions about the "settlement fund" unveiled at yesterday's press conference.

The first thing to understand is that the presenter, Richard Untalan, and current president of the Archdiocesan Finance Council (AFC) was one of the four members of the AFC "fired" by Apuron in 2012, after he secretly recorded the instrument which gave away the Yona property. Additionally, Untalan and the others were belittled and threatened by then Vicar General, David (Lurch) Quitugua, who accused them of a "vulnus" against the bishop, for even proposing to discuss the matter at an AFC meeting.

WHERE'S FR. EDIVALDO?

Posted by Chuck White

A credible source has revealed that Neocatechumenal presbyter Fr. Edivaldo Da Silva Oliveira departed Guam this morning for Denver Colorado, a Neocatechumenal Mecca.  One source said that he was "transferred."  Another said, "It's for good."

WE WAIT

Perhaps Archbishop Byrnes doesn't know this, but the reason he's even here (on Guam and not in Michigan) is because of what happened on that fateful January morning on KOLG in 2006.

On a call-in talk show hosted by Fr. Mike Crisostomo and Fred Rodriguez, Archbishop Apuron, uninvited and unannounced, barged in and took over the show.

The topic had turned to a discussion about the Neocatechumenal Way and the recently released directive from the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Sacraments (CDW) requiring the NCW to conform its liturgy, particularly its communion rite, to what was prescribed by the liturgical books.
