WE WAIT

Perhaps Archbishop Byrnes doesn't know this, but the reason he's even here (on Guam and not in Michigan) is because of what happened on that fateful January morning on KOLG in 2006.

On a call-in talk show hosted by Fr. Mike Crisostomo and Fred Rodriguez, Archbishop Apuron, uninvited and unannounced, barged in and took over the show.

The topic had turned to a discussion about the Neocatechumenal Way and the recently released directive from the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Sacraments (CDW) requiring the NCW to conform its liturgy, particularly its communion rite, to what was prescribed by the liturgical books.

THE CATHEDRAL RECTOR'S VALENTINE'S DAY MISSIVE AND WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW

Let us examine the key statements in the Cathedral Rector's February 14 missive to the Cathedral parish relative to the celebration of Mass:

"All Masses must be celebrated with the Roman Missal with adherence to the letter and spirit of its General Instructions or GIRM."

"Some groups may have been given special permission (also known as an indult) by Rome to change certain parts of the Mass. If your group falls within this category, please submit such permission to me before Ash Wednesday so that we can all be advised. Also note that all indults must have a start date and specifically state if it has an expiration date or is permanent/ongoing."

Of course there are not "some groups," there is only one "group": the Neocatechumenal Way. The NCW claims to have special permission to "change certain parts of the Mass." We will examine those in a minute. But first we can expect the NCW to avoid the missive by resorting to any of the following:

REDEMPTIONIS SACRAMENTUM

Posted by Tim

In light of the renewed discussion about the liturgical aberrations of the Neocatechumenal Way, we are moving this post back to the top and recommending a re-read of this post: THE NCW EUCHARIST IS ILLICIT, AND HERE'S WHY...AGAIN.

[4]..."It is not possible to be silent about the abuses, even quite grave ones, against the nature of the Liturgy and the Sacraments as well as the tradition and the authority of the Church, which in our day not infrequently plague liturgical celebrations in one ecclesial environment or another. In some places the perpetration of liturgical abuses has become almost habitual, a fact which obviously cannot be allowed and must cease."
So begins the Instruction Redemptionis Sacramentum, an instruction issued by the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments on 25 March 2004. The document's subtitle makes its purpose crystal clear: "Instruction on Certain Matters to Be Observed or to Be Avoided Regarding the Most Holy Eucharist."

LOL - I'LL HAVE FUN WITH THIS LATER. BUSY RIGHT NOW :)

  1. The day of the Big Shame is approaching to CCOG, Sablan, Rohr and the other war mongers. They pushed themselves into a corner from where there is no escape. This corner is the manner NCW is serving the Eucharist. This is their stumbling stone. They cannot get around this stumbling stone anymore because they pushed the issue of distributing the Eucharist too far.

First of all they have to confront Archbishop Byrnes as soon as he is back on island on their 2 questions:

Is it against against the regulation of the Catholic Church that at NCW Eucharist celebrations
    1. the body of Christ is consumed while the faithful is sitting?
    2. no distribution on-the-tongue is available?

These two questions were raised at JW and very are specific attack lines against the NCW. Only on Guam! Why? Because nowhere else on this wide earth is NCW attacked under the same charges. It was a novelty of Rohr to push for these things. You don't hear the same charges not even from his international comrades anywhere else. Why? They know that these 2 questions are simply invalid and will be laughed off. These questions don't deserve the time and effort they invest into it.

Of course, Archbishop Byrnes will have to tell them. He will tell them to back off because the answer for both of these 2 questions is NO! No, the practices of the NCW do not violate any regulation.

    1. There is nothing wrong with sitting down before you consume the Eucharist.
    2. Eucharist on-the-tongue is available at other masses where you are free to go.

When these people will hear the answers from Archbishop Byrnes, this will be the day of Big Shame for them, because of their stubbornness and unreasonable plots against their sisters and brothers. CCOG, JW. LFM and other church misfits of Guam, be ready for the day of your Big Shame. Then repent and ask forgiveness from your brethren in the communities for all the untrue accusations! We are here to show you a true way toward Jesus that is worth of waking on.

ADRIAN WATCH

Posted by Chuck White

Found on the "Neo Catechumenal Way" FB page on January 14, 2017:

Maybe there is more than one Neocatechumenal "Fr. Adrian" running around Oceania, but it's not very likely.

He'll gladly go to Papua New Guinea, Australia, or Canada, but not it seems, to a small village on his own island.

NEOCATECHUMENAL MESS ABOUT SIGNS AND HOLINESS.

Posted by LaPaz, Jungle Watch correspondent from Spain.

Kiko and Carmen lashed out "sacramentalism" of catholic Church during centuries with the excuse of the renewal of Council Vatican II.

They have always sold that the Neocatechumenal Way was inspired directly by God to realize CVII. They are convinced the NCW has to guide the whole Church into a new theology, a new faith, for a new evangelization for the Tertio Millenio which has just come.

Kiko and Carmen did not propose only a new method, but THE only. They feel the Way is exactly what catholic Church needs to survive for this new human era. The most surprising thing is they are just doing the same "wrong" things they criticized.
