AND SO THEY CRUSHED HIM

Five years ago, this month, the infamous Redemptoris Mater Seminary was closed by Archbishop Michael Byrnes.

Coincidentally, today, Kandit News ran a story about the absence of Archbishop Byrnes and his suspected health issues.

We will have more to say about the Kandit story later, but there is little doubt that the “crushers” ("The Kikos") who run the Neocatechumenal Way have made Archbishop Byrnes pay for daring to be the first bishop in the world to close one of their fake seminaries.

And so they crushed him.

Go here to a local media interview with Archbishop Byrnes about his closure of the seminary in 2017.

Go here for Part II of this story.

  1. I feel it a tragic loss. Sorry I feel if you don't agree with someway of teaching then just don't join. I've met a few of those young seminarians studying there who I was impressed with so it's a tragic calamity and I hope they are safe and everything has gone well with their departure back to where they came from.

    1. If you follow the link at the end of the above post to what Archbishop Byrnes said in 2017, you will see what I said at the end of that 2017 post - which agrees with you:

"...the real victims of RMS were not necessarily the faithful Catholics of Guam who gave millions over the years to RMS, but the otherwise sincere young men who believed their neocatechumenal masters who sent them to Apuron's version of "Tony's Boy's Town." Now, hoping they will find their true vocations."

The bottom line - and as AB Byrnes clearly implies, RMS was never a seminary "for Guam." It was a seminary "in Guam." So sad about the well-meaning seminarians who probably had no idea how they were being used.

  2. Just like any aggressive, ambitious, self righteous polit bureau-Cross them at your peril. They will destroy your family, your health and your reputation. God loves them and will forgive them! Will everyone else?

    1. You are correct: "they will destroy your family..." But God will not forgive those who aren't sorry. And these people aren't sorry.
