- Fr. Julio Cesar Sanchez believes he is now an Episcopal candidate for Guam or Saipan.
-Vatican upset with Apuron. He is even losing his internal supporters within the congregations. Apuron tried to play Tim Rohr and CCOG as rabble rousers. Now Vatican doesn't think so. Apuron seen as abusing ecclesial power, using Church power to threaten others, and claims to have friends in high places. This is what the Vatican is angry with.
- Apuron has been paying Vatican contacts to delay canonical cases.
- Mae Ada story really did alarm Rome.
Priest from Brazil wants to be next Bishop. What , after 2 years experience as presbyter?
ReplyDeleteI guess that means lots of orange juice served with pizza for their Sunday gatherings at San Ramon Hill, at our expense!
The men like wine with the pizza.
DeleteSo what does this all mean Tim.??? Please enlighten us!
ReplyDeleteIt means that there will soon be a change of power and Apuron is trying to maneuver so that the NCW and RMS can continue. Whether Rome can be maneuvered or not remains to be seen. Kiki owns a lot of bishops and cardinals.
DeleteThe high and mighty Julio has not been presbyter long enough. Period. No pastoral experience. Not very fond of gringos on Guam. Archie, you shouldn't have said this about Julio in public.
ReplyDeleteBrother Tony has said many things worse than imprudent. May come back and bite his arse. But not on his birthday. Do attendees get free book?? Should have extras. Yup.
DeleteI'm curious about that book but not enough to spend $30. And I don't want even $30 to go towards the NCW.
DeleteNo experience is not an impediment in the NCW circle. It will be a done deal if it means satisfying their agendas.
DeletePsssst! If Apuron wants Lurch for aux , then why does he talk him down in "private" circles. Tony, why did you say he has never really been VG??? Hmmmm? Just wondering. Wondering about a lot, actually. Happy Birthday, old man.
ReplyDeleteHappy happy clap clap . David not good VG be a great bishop after me. Don't worry all that matters is my birthday. See you at the Hyatt 7pm Sunday bye.
Bishop Lurch in his mitre the leaning tower of Pisa. He could never take my place. I suppose he'll show at my party and want to be seated with me and My controller Putrid Pius. I better think positive and smile for the brothers. See you soon! Bye.
DeleteIf Rome caves in to Apuron’s wishes and appoints either Chancellor Adrian Cristobal or Vicar General David C Quitugua (both ultra Neos) to be auxiliary bishop of our archdiocese, it will mean to many of us that (1) Rome doesn’t give a hoot to the pleas of the Catholic Laity which wants Apuron out because of his Neo allegiance and loyalty to Kiko Arguello and his NCW; (2) It will mean that Rome concurs with Apuron’s wishes to solidify and perpetuate the Neo religion in our archdiocese; (3) It will mean “damn the torpedoes” – the Laity means NOTHING to Rome!
ReplyDeleteIf we are heretofore to be beholden to Neo leadership, and replace Jesus Christ as Priest, Prophet and King, and the Pope as His Vicar, with the false pseudo prophet Kiko, then we have no business any more being in the Catholic Church, because it will no longer be the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. It will be a Kiko Church – and thanks, but no thanks, Rome!
We believe and we hope that you will not do it, Rome, and that this “rumor” is just “smoking guns”. Give us AT LEAST some signs to believe so. But if the opposite turns out true, then open the floodgates, and let the wolves in! A bunch of us sheep will be looking for Jesus Christ, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Angels and Saints elsewhere! No threats – just making predictions!
That's Julio?? What happened to that guy? Not enough joy to go around. He missed his dose. Feel sorry for him. Wow, man.
ReplyDeleteWho is Julio Caesar Sanchez? How many years of experience as a priest? What are his qualifications to be an auxiliary bishop? Has he any outstanding qualities?
ReplyDeleteEileen Benavente-Blas
Presbyter Julio won't be be a bishop for many years. He doesn't know it, but he is a baby presbyter. Won't happen. Don't worry.
DeleteIn lieu of this post, this article from "The National Catholic Reporter" is enlightening.
ReplyDelete"Four easy steps to take to become a bishop"

Totally agree with 3:15PM... Shall we storm the Nuncio with letters once again?
ReplyDeleteIf Rome entertains these further jokes of leadership, our Archdiocese will be in even worse shape than it is now. Talk about division! Archbishop Krebs, if you thought we were at war when you first came to visit, any one of these choices will surely add even more fuel to the fire. Put an end to this corrupt leadership once and for all! No Adrian! No David! No foreigner - what's his name again? Who is he? Exactly. my. point.
Presbyters Adrian Cristobal and David C Quitugua are willing acccessories to the destruction of the traditional Church on Guam. These two were vital advisers to the archbishop and the health of the Archdiocese but contributed to the MADNESS of apuron. They are neither to be trusted nor respected for their role in allowing ncw to grow like weeds on Guam. This presbyter julio is no one, but since apuron likes to perpetuate his neo legacy, we have to be vigilant on this issue.

ReplyDelete4pm suggest you contact Archbishop Martin Krebs immediately. We already did further to this news article. These choices for Bishops are unacceptable to this Archdiocese.
ReplyDeleteText messages are in circulation re- Bishop Elect Cristobal, Quitugua, Sanchez.
Please tell readers this is not official Vatican News.
The Apostolic Delegate is not aware of any such announcements by the Vatican Information office. The Vatican publishes new bishops names 9pm Guam Time Noon in Rome. Unless these names appear on the Vatican information page they are not Bishop Elect.
Did the 3 names go straight to Rome? Isn't there a process? Did he bypass the Nuncio? What is your justification Apuron?
ReplyDelete. For Auxiliary BishopsA diocesan bishop must justify to the apostolic nuncio his need for an auxiliary bishop. This is easier if he is requesting a replacement for a retired or deceased auxiliary. The diocesan bishop prepares the terna, or list of three candidates, for his requested auxiliary and forwards it to the apostolic nuncio. The nuncio then conducts his own investigation of the priests on the diocesan bishop's terna, sending the names to Rome with a report and his own recommendations. On average, this part of the process may take two to six months.Stage 3: Congregation for Bishops
Once all the documentation from the nuncio is complete and in order, and the prefect approves, the process moves forward. If the appointment involves a bishop who is being promoted or transferred, the matter may be handled by the prefect and the staff. If, however, the appointment is of a priest to the episcopacy, the full congregation is ordinarily involved.
A cardinal relator is chosen to summarize the documentation and make a report to the full congregation, which generally meets twice a month on Thursdays. After hearing the cardinal relator's report, the congregation discusses the appointment and then votes. The Congregation may follow the recommendation of the nuncio, chose another of the candidates on the terna, or even ask that another terna be prepared.
Stage 4: The Pope Decides
May we suggest to contributors at JW not to be flippant in their comments? Tim Rohr, Frenchie and Chuck White exercise due diligence in their research and news source to ensure credibility and sanity of this particular social medium. Even when we post anonymously I encourage our readers to maintain decorum and restraint. Spreading falsehood and hearsay does not make us any better than the lies and deceptions we have seen from the neos. I know we are better than that, and we ought to preserve our dignity in the midst of a chaotic situation.

ReplyDeleteHi everyone don't forget my birthday Sunday 7pm Hyatt. I know your all talking about my birthday and my candidate for bishops. I listen to your points but your points of view are stupid. See you Sunday . Bye.
ReplyDeleteYes 9.59pm it's a chaotic situation broken out in the Archdiocese of Agana Guam. News media already posting news on Archbishop's favored candidates for bishops. Chaotic situation erupted throughout Guams Chancery. Archbishop Apuron confused Over who leaked the information.
ReplyDeleteThe issue is Apuron bypass Apostolic Delegate. Apuron created his own private terna with the intention of selling these names in Rome. The question for Guam is very simple. Do you want these men as your bishops?
Bypassing Apostolic Delegate? Don't think so. As a matter of fact, know so.
