PLEASE REMOVE THESE MEN!

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "ADRIAN CRISTOBAL'S NAME":

Archbishop Hon, REMOVE this Chancellor immediately. Nothing good ever comes out of his mouth or decrees in the name of Apuron. You want Unity in this diocese? Then start by cleaning house and put people who are considered trustworthy in positions to effect your decisions. Remove Adrian the current Chancellor and remove David the Vicar General. These men cannot be trusted! The climate of the church that you ask for was once vibrant here on Guam. It is Adrian and David who have contributed to the current climate of mistrust, division and scandal yet they cling to their positions knowing the church is divided and make decision that further divide this Archdiocese? What does that tell you Archbishop Hon? Give me some breathing room Archbishop Hon so that, as a faithful Catholic convert i can once again fully participate in the climate of the church you speak of. Please remove these men.

  1. Biba Katoliku! I echo these comments! Remove, reorganize, and restore dignity to OUR archdiocese NOW. Archbishop Hon. Your actions are under s microscope. First impressions are lasting impressions. You're off to a bad start.

  2. Anon 12:30...to be fair with Archbishop Hon Tai-Fai, it is his third day on island. At the least, give him a bit more time to gather all the information he'll need. As many have said, let's give him the benefit for the time being. Just do not let your guard down, people.

    1. - But Raymond - Wasn't he here before and would he have not heard or seen the division then? Was he totally blind-sided by the NEOs? He should have been more prepared this time and relieved all the current NEO Clergy in charge right away of all their duties until a thorough investigation is conducted. Instead, Adrian especially, everyone who we are totally against, are still acting in their capacities and it seems like it is "Business as Usual"! Stay Vigilant My Catholic Family and Friends!

  3. Archbishop Hon traveled 31 hrs to get here. Give the man a break. Ever Vigilant, however

  4. I agree we have to give him time. However, part of the impatience is due to suspicion. And suspicion is what he left us with last year. He'll need to deal with that.

  5. Also, he was warned about Adrian. Letting him act publicly is a slap in our face. Adrian is as bad as Apuron. Worse in many ways.

  6. I agree that Archbishop Hon should be given time to understand the undercurrents of disgust with these priest like Adrian and David, the VG; and Archbishop Apuron. My suggestion for what it's worth, Archbishop Hon: 1. Appoint Msgr. James Benavente as Vicar General, and Fr. Paul Gofigan as Chancellor or the Archdiocese. Remove some of the members of the Finance Council and reinstate Richard Untalan and Joe Rivera if they are willing to serve again. Return Deacon Steve Martinez back as the Sexual Abuse Response Coordinator and have him come up with strong changes to the Archdiocese Sexual Abuse Policy from start to finish. If he makes these changes with priests and good Catholics that the people trust. The people will come to his (Archbishop Hon's) aid and will begin to build on that trust. Additionally, he should require that David and Adrian sign a letter of apology to be printed in a decree from Archbishop Hon. Then he is to retire these men from the priesthood; or send them off-island to be reformed to include being reversed brain-washed to think the Neocatechumenal Way is not good for Guam. They should be sent off-island for at least 10 years, as it would take that long for the wounds they caused to heal. Then the people will be ready to forgive, but these priest should never be in positions of authority.

  7. Archbishop Hon arrived here last year and did the same thing. He asked everyone to gather around and sing Kumbaya. Make nice with each other he said. A lot of good that did after he left. We got no encouraging words other than to be patient with each other and wait. How much longer must we wait? Before his arrival then, there was hope that our situation here in the diocese would improve. A year and a half later he is back and during that time an even bigger mess has befallen this Archdiocese!
The time for gentle correction is past! Archbishop Hon does not need time to gather information. He's had a year and a half to figure out what's wrong with this diocese. What he can do immediately is implement a new administration, with people that are trusted to faithfully and spiritually carry out their duties. Adrian and David have caused so much problems and division in this diocese with their lies, plots, decrees and schemes, they must be removed from their spiritual position of authority. Yes, Archbishop Hon. REMOVE these men immediately and you will see how much of a butden has been lifted off the faithful's shoulder. You were sent here to act on behalf of the Pope. The time for action is now! Please Remove these men.

  8. That would be great to have Msgr. James as the Vicar General! Archbishop Hon should also investigate the seminary and what is being taught there. As the new Archbishop, he can advise the Neocats to either follow what the Pope has stated about the Eucharistic sacrifice or they will no longer be part of our One, Holy and Apostolic Church here, and all presbyters should be removed from the parishes. This would be a welcome relief!!

  9. As great as these suggestions are, let us trust the process that Archbishop Hon might have in mind. I hope he shares these plans of action to us right away so we can assist him. As mentioned on this post, there are good, trusted people who can fill the posts of Chancellor, VG, Worship and SARC - not the neo-encrusted officials that occupy these positions. They are simply not trusted, and they reneged on their responsibilities a long time ago. We have to trust the process, however, with the caveat that we will not hesitate to call a spade a spade, no matter who we need to call out in order to achieve a lasting solution to our problems.

Personally, in light of how I heard Archbishop Hon treated our (NON-Neo) clergy in January 2015 — essentially telling them to be quiet and listen to their bishop — in direct contrast to the July 2014 visit of our Nuncio Archbishop Krebs — who allowed concerns to be raised, including the statement "Archbishop, YOU are the problem!" — I'm having a hard time trusting any process Archbishop Hon might have in mind.

It's not as though Archbishop Hon is unaware of the issues that have divided our Church, recently exacerbated by the accusations of sexual abuse by Apuron, which I doubt was on the mind of the "average" Catholic in the wake of the removal of Fr. Paul Gofigan in July 2013 and Msgr. James Benavente in July 2014 and concerns about the ownership of RMS, all which seemed to have a common root: Apuron is an active member of the NeoCatechumenal Way and taking orders from his catechist.

Hon is fully aware of the damage that has been done by Adrian and David the VG. Instead of encouraging serenity and patience and harmony — anyone feel like singing Kumbaya? — while allowing the two co-conspirators to carry on as though nothing had changed, he could have placed them on "administrative leave" and allowed Fr. Ted to roll up his sleeves and get to work.

I'm one of those individuals who first heard Apuron speak in the first person plural ("WE") when defending the practices of the NCW in January 2006. I've been waiting for a decade for corrective actions to be taken so that my grandchildren will not be subjected to the heretical teachings of that cult. I'm having a hard time being serene or patient or harmonious so I will be in front of the Cathedral-Basilica with the Laity Forward Movement calling for Apuron to RESIGN — no Kumbaya for this Senior Citizen!!

  10. On another note, has an audience been granted for the CCOG or LFM to meet with Archbishop Hon Tai Fai, or any other NON NEO representative?

    1. I'm glad you asked. There is NO need to meet with anybody. Nobody wants or needs to talk to Hon when he is flanked by Quitugua and Cristobal at a Vigil for Peace, the Decree against the CCOG has not been rescinded, Apuron speaks to us from the pages of the Umatuna, and Apuron's video message has NOT been publicly reputed.

      NO MORE TALKING.

    2. - Exactly - Nothing has been changed since Archbishop Hon arrived on Guam. Business as Usual - NEO Here - NEO There - NEO NEO Every Where! So Why Were You Really Sent to Guam Archbishop Hon? To calm the Restless Un-Educated, Un-Informed, Un-Civilized Catholic Natives of Guam? Please Remember that Our Island is "Where America's Day Begins" and therefore, we have been educated the "American Way". So Please Do Not Think That We Are Going to Shy Away and Say "KUMBAYA" to whatever you say!
