Rather than wait around for Church leaders to do the right thing there is nothing that is keeping each one of us from doing the right thing. Joelle Casteix, a regional director for Survivors Network for those Abused by Priests (SNAP), after being horrified by Walter's account of what Apuron did to him, is offering her book THE COMPASSIONATE RESPONSE at no charge. Let us educate ourselves. Stop waiting for the Church. We keep saying "We are the Church." Okay. NOW would be a good time to act like it.
