PRIEST SAYS HE WAS TOLD TO SAY PRAYERS FOR ABUSING BOYS

Posted by Chuck White

"He said he molested "a couple of boys" during that time. However, when pressed on how many boys he might have abused, Brouillard said: 'I have no idea. Maybe 20."

HAGATNA, Guam (AP) — A 95-year-old Catholic priest admitted to sexually abusing boys decades ago on Guam. He said he confessed his sins to other priests on the island at the time but none told him to specifically stop.

Instead, the Rev. Louis Brouillard said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press on Saturday morning that the other priests told him to "do better" along with regular penance, such as saying Hail Mary prayers.  Read more.

  1. Man will forgive i only hope God will, Father.
    Shame on you Father.
As for Apuron concealing this Priest and paying him on our Catholic Money is a disgrace.
    Shame on Archdiocese.

    1. God's ability to forgive is beyond man's understanding. There is no sin that is beyond God's ability to forgive. We cannot outdo him in his mercy. We pray for all the victims of abuse that God may give them grace to find healing, but also to the sex offender that he will realize his grave sin, turn to God and the victims and ask forgiveness.

  2. Apuron/ RMS students have been engaged in appearing in a rather strange App.

    1. What APP are you referring too, that Apuron/RMS HAVE BEEN APPEARING IN?
Please don't say something, then hold back. Be strong.

  3. Although it is unthinkable what this priest has done, I have to still give him credit for not denying his sins. Unlike brother tony who hides and denies like a coward.

  4. I'm surprised he's not NCW

    1. He's not NCW because it did not exist at that time he was in Guam and does not exist in Minnesota.

    2. One of the things many will have to come to grips with is that the NCW is not the problem. It is only the fungus that attached itself and throve on the cancer and rot that was already here.

    3. Absolutely Tim, the infiltration of morally sick men into the seminaries began in the early 1900s and has wrecked havoc on the Church and the faithful.

Kiko has capitalized on the condition of the Church to infiltrate by wining & dining Bishops and the Curia as he builds, in his view, a New (Neo)Church, using marxist tactics and a twisted theology.

    4. It was AAA SINS that allowed the NCW into the Archdiocese. Ironic, his past will be the end of RMS and NCW on Guam.

    5. Bruce, not sure if you meant early 1900's or a later decade. Documentation points directly to late 60's and especially into the 70's. Makes sense. Spirit of Vatican II.

  5. Totally agree with ANON 3:13 AM. It may be repugnant to MANY of us, yes, even unthinkable! I can empathize with those abused by Fr. Louis. IF he has been sincerely performing his penance, there may be some hope for him. It might be a long shot but there may be some hope of reconciliation with those that were abused and this priest.

This priest is not running like AAA. He is not dodging, deflecting, and even to the point of not denying!...And where is Anthony Apuron? No where to be found!...Stand forward AAA and face your accusers. Stand forward and accept your fate! Step forward and reconcile yourself with the VICTIMS and the ISLAND of GUAM!...SAD FOR YOU AAA. Even this 95 year old priest has the fear of going to HELL!...How about you AAA?...STEP FORWARD!...STEP OUT OF THE SHADOWS AND STEP UP!

  6. Benedict Apuron is the traitors traitor. He has completely sold out the flock he was charged to care for.
Tony Apurun is the cowards coward. He has completely abandoned all hope and chooses instead to deny and flee. A coward if ever there was one!
