REDEMPTIONIS SACRAMENTUM 74. BUT WHO CARES?

So we have this instruction from Blessed Pope John Paul II, soon to be Saint Pope John Paul II:

REDEMPTIONIS SACRAMENTUM [74.] If the need arises for the gathered faithful to be given instruction or testimony by a layperson in a Church concerning the Christian life, it is altogether preferable that this be done outside Mass. Nevertheless, for serious reasons it is permissible that this type of instruction or testimony be given after the Priest has proclaimed the Prayer after Communion. This should not become a regular practice, however. Furthermore, these instructions and testimony should not be of such a nature that they could be confused with the homily,[156] nor is it permissible to dispense with the homily on their account.

But what does it matter? Saint? Pope? Apparently nothing matters except what Kiko wants. And so he gets it.

Archbishop Apuron invites a lay person to give a personal testimony after the homily from Undercover Neo on Vimeo.

Apparently the sacraments of the Church no longer suffice. However, if people have been going to the archbishop's Mass for 25 years and they still are incapable of escaping from sin, as this woman says, then what does this little talk really say.

  1. At 6:30 p.m. tonight, at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Yigo, we will celebrate the 5th day of our Festal Novena of Masses and also the World Day of the Sick, offering also the sacrament of Anointing of the Sick.

The following is an excerpt from "The Message of Lourdes" page on the official Lourdes Grotto website (http://en.lourdes-france.org/deepen/message-lourdes). "God comes to tell us that he loves us, - this is the heart of the Message of Lourdes, and he loves us as we are with all our successes but also with all our wounds, our weaknesses and our limitations."

I invite everyone to come, pray and receive Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist and healing through the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is also available at 6:00 p.m. for those who may need it.

  2. I can tell you on more than several occasions during Mass that cathechist like Pat would spend so much time talking that once the priest came up he barely said anything since she covered most of his homily.

    1. Ric, did your catechists ever present the "Three Angels" catechesis to you directly, or did you just hear about it? And if they did present it, how did they present Kiko? As I read Kiko's writings I see that they can be interpreted in two ways, one relatively orthodox, and one definitely not. Si Yu'os Ma'ase.

    2. Anonymous. I heard the cathechesis straight from Kiko during a meeting with him. Kiko said that he and my catechists were "angels" sent from God to tell us the Good News like Gabriel did to Mary. He said that hearing this news from an "angel" has the power to change us. That the word from an angel can change our lives.

    3. Aren't the three Angels suppose to be the bearer of the news that the end is near as stated in Revelations 14? So what I am getting here Ric E is that if Kiko says that he and his catechists are angels, then they are the chosen ones and all who follow will be too.

I guess that I am one who will be forever damned in hell!

    4. I don't think he meant it like that of Revelations. He gives the three angels to give three examples of how an angel's words can change our life. The first was Satan tempting Eve (bad), the second was Gabriel to Mary (good), the last was him, the catechist bringing us into the Way (good).

But in Kiko and the cathechist's minds you aren't Christian unless you are in the Way. In fact my catechist repeatedly talked down about her elderly mother because she wasn't in community despite asking her for more than a decade. She said she prayed everyday that she would come back to the church, despite the fact her mother went to church everyday, prayed the rosary and nobena, went to confession, and was active in her parish. Where's the logic in that?

    5. John the Baptist, Moses, Mark, John, Luke, Pope JPll, Bishop Sheen and multitudes aren't Christian because they were not in the NCW. BS!
Kiko and his ilk have drop to their knees in front of Our Blessed Lord in adoration and listen to Him.

  3. On the Seventh Announcement of the Fatima
Lucifer, with a great number of demons will be unchained, liberated from hell; Little by little they will abolish the faith, even in persons consecrated to God. They will succeed in blinding these souls to such an extent, that except for a particular grace. These blinded souls will take on the spirit of those wicked angels. Many religious houses will completely lose the faith and they will lose many souls
Question: The Blessed Virgin, signify the complete realization of the announcement
Answer: "this is only the beginning of its realization since everything continues even in these times. In addition, many of the clergy abandon the faith and prayer: and satan, by subtle means leads them astray from their apostolate. thus the demon causes their apostolate to be converted into something that is vulgar

  4. What???? Did she say everything is FREE? Someone is paying for the power, water, food, etc....Oh yes its us Catholics who are not part of the NCW. This is wrong in so many ways. No more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ 4 you!

  5. NCW is just another movement trying to convince the Vatican that their way is the only way. My friends Kiko is just a human being and not a prophet. Jesus is the only WAY not Kiko who just a human being like the rest of us!

  6. No, not like the rest of us. Kiko is an agent of corruption, a false prophet, preying on the weak within the Catholic church under the guise of good works. What true Catholic raises themselves to the position of an angel, even allegoricaly. So while the rest of us proclaim, Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, Kiko clearly believes otherwise. Even Jesus Christ during His time on earth was more humble. Recall scripture when Pilate asked Him if He was the King of the Jews. Kiko is an utter joke...another Judas who would betray Christ for his own ambitions.
