DEAR MR. MILLS

I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity.

You see, no one in Guam was having the conversation you said you were interested "by": the conversation about Archbishop Apuron's removal of Fr. Paul. It was old news and had pretty much gone away. And, happily for the Archbishop, most of the ugly details of how he treated Fr. Paul never really made it to the press.

However, I was told by the PDN that your letter was the inspiration for, or at least related to the genesis of, the front page story about Mr. Lastimoza, an article which, along with your letter, has caused his teenage children to be bullied at school, his wife to cry, and his 81 year old sickly mother to collapse.

I'm sure you feel justified in making this family suffer for a crime their father committed over 33 years ago and went to prison for. And I don't fault you for that. In fact, I thank you. It has provided me an opportunity now to retell the whole Apuron-Gofigan saga to the entire public of Guam. And had you not written your letter, I would not have stumbled upon some new information that is going to turn Apuron on his head.

You see most didn't know the full extent of the evil actions of Archbishop Apuron against Fr. Paul. And almost no one new about the "something new"! But now they will. Your letter has provided an opportunity for me to draw them out and to resurrect this whole evil episode all over again and to provide a new document that will expose Apuron and the Kiko's evil intent more than anything else I provided previously.

Oh, so fun, Mr. Mills. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! And just in time too, especially now that John Toves is in the picture. See you soon Mr. Mills.

    1. Au contraire, Mr. Dingleberry. If it caused you to once again visit my blog and waste another minute of your life while here then it most certainly was not a waste at all. In fact, that was my aim. Come on back. Keep wasting your life scratching where it doesn't itch. LMAO.

  2. When the Other Shoe Drops:

The evil that has consumed Tony Apuron is really quite alarming. We have seen countless examples of his human weaknesses over the past 15 months. This has been possible primarily from Jungle Watch, who has been revealing the truth about our Church on Guam.

We do need to remember that Tony Apuron is human and faces the same human temptations we all face. BUT, as our spiritual leader, we expect him to succeed in resisting those temptations, and we must hold him to a higher standard. We must also believe that the Vatican also felt 34 years ago that Tony would be better equipped to set a model example for other Guamanians to follow. As our spiritual leader we should expect him to be more Christ-like than most of us. We expect a leader who is both honest in his words and fatherly in his advice to others. We expect a leader who shows a true love for the forgotten and outcast. We expect a leader who shows a forgiveness of those who have harmed others. We expect a leader who shows concern for all people in his kingdom, not just Catholics, and not just a very small group of Catholics. Guam’s expectations are not unreasonable, and they are the same expectations of Rome, especially our new Vicar, Pope Francis.

But something has gone terribly wrong! We have a man who has publicly lied. Not once, but repeatedly. Incredibly, instead of asking for forgiveness, he creates more lies to cover his sins. And his fatherly advice to his sons/priests? Prepare for an arduous and painful experience, and when it is all over go find another father/bishop. Tony has failed our rightful expectation.

We have a man who relishes in attention and places of honor. He demands a seat at the head table, and accepts huge gifts for merely doing his pastoral duty, yet refuses to share this treasure with others. My nephew once got an Archbishop Flores scholarship from his school because that good man left a vast gift to help catholic kids obtain a Catholic education. Tony has been bishop for 35 years and has done nothing with his own personal wealth to help in the same way. Wanting stature, if you are famous, rich, or an elected official, you have Tony’s undivided attention. But how many times has he lifted a single finger to help the ordinary or obscure?

We have a man who will do anything for his beloved kikos. For a mere man this is admirable and praise worthy. But as a spiritual leader, he must show care and concern for all those he is supposed to be shepherding. There are 135,000 Catholics on Guam, and an additional 35,000 other souls that expect his attention, but Tony seems content with shepherding a mere 500 kikos.

    to be continued ...

  3. continuation ...

We have a wicked man who will go out of his way to destroy a person because of a crime they committed 33 years ago. And Tony did this simply because it was a way to get to one of his “disobedient” priests. Fr Paul expected the kikos to actually follow Church law. This obviously angered Tony, who decided to do everything possible to destroy this priest. So what was Fr Paul’s alleged crime? Showing too much love and compassion for a sinner. Yet, for those in the kiko way of cultic life, they are encouraged to publicly pronounce their sins and are cheered and welcomed and immediately forgotten.

A foreign priest was banished from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles because of accusations of horrible crimes against innocent school children, but he found a welcome and loving home on Guam, and his history was hidden from the people while his ministry was totally unsupervised. Fortunate for him, Fr John is a member of the kiko way. But a man who wants to grow in his Catholic faith and deepen his love of God is barred from even volunteering at our Dededo Church. God must have been so happy when this man committed his life to helping others, and that this man was making God his focus. It was a non-Neo priest who provided the pathway for this man’s triumphant faith renewal. Unfortunately, this man was caught in the crossfire, Fr Paul was a roadblock in the path of Tony’s agenda to force the kiko life style upon the largest parish on-island. Fr Paul would have to go, and Mr Lastimosa would be the collateral damage. And wicked Tony did not stop after the first punitive blow. He appears to almost take delight in wreaking havoc on this man’s life, as if 15 years in prison wasn’t enough of a punishment. Now Mr. Lastimosa will receive an additional sentence from Justice (and jury) Apuron.

Ironically, does anyone really believe Mr. Lastimosa would have faced the same destructive behavior by Tony, if Mr Lastimosa and his family were parishioners in Chalan Pago, under the “juice sucking” neo priest? The people of Guam are horrified by these actions from the very same person who is supposed to inspire us to become more like Christ. We believe the NeoCatechumenal Way is merely the force that has driven the darkness within this man to the surface. And even if the Way is removed Tony Apuron will still be unfit to lead us to the Kingdom. We see the same terrible pattern of destructive behavior in how Tony dealt with clearing the Agana Church of those who were not overtly friendly to the kikos.

Mr Rohr, it appears that the maelstrom is about to conclude, after a brief, stormy climax. It seems you have the smoking gun, to what we can only imagine. But it does sound like Tony’s accomplice, Adrian, may be at the heart of his downfall. We ask that you move swiftly so we can start to rebuild the Church that Tony razed. Thank you for your diligent effort in exposing the beast that rules. We all knew in our hearts Tony was evil, but we refused to see beyond the mitre and staff. The office of the Archbishop blinded us. Thankfully, you spoke the truth that had to be said. His abdication of responsibility to the people has helped us understand the need for change. The people of Guam understand and support your efforts.

Rome, we ask that you look at our “Church Suffering” and bring us a caring, loving, and Christ-like shepherd!

    1. Jamet, I believe the Holy Spirit is now inspiring individuals in different countries and for different reasons, to come together and call for a new episcopal leadership in Guam.

  4. Funny you mentioned "stormy climax". I was just thinking this is like when a typhoon hits guam; It cleans out all the trash, junk, debris, dead branches/vegetation and during the storm's aftermath, the whole island is out there cleaning the mess up. In the end old things are made new again. I guess this was God's way of reviving our Catholic church and faith....by Typhoon Neokats. Let the cleaning commence.

  5. Again and again, I would like to apologize to Mr. Lastimoza and his family. I am sure Mr. Lastimoza is not proud of what he did. If he is truly an undesirable person, then, we should not even allow him to attend mass. But is there any undesirable person in the eyes of our Lord when this person has a repentant heart? The Church is the last refuge. When the world has abandoned you, God will always be there for you. Just at the last liturgical conference, the theme was that of the Prodigal Son. The father in that beautiful gospel passage didn't even let his son finish his apology. He embraced his son unconditionally. Shouldn't our church in Guam be doing no less?

  6. Tim, remember somebody was wondering how come the letter appeared at the same time as the headline. Normally, the letter or comment comes after. You mean, the letter actually came first and then the headline. That PDN chose to publish both at the same time. Man, that is really messed up. So, "Mills" thought that the opinion about the harsh treatment of Fr. Paul will change because of this. It didn't. They really needed something to justify that harsh treatment. And they continue to drag this person and his family just to justify their end of removing Fr. Paul. Messed up.

  9. Adrian God forbid you are the one behind the Mr.Mills affair. I knew you were a very jealous envious limited individual. But always believed that the grace of god working on human nature would transform you into a better person. This is not the case. It seems only power, wealth, and position have been the motivating force in the priesthood for you. Yes, wealth you have, but of greater importance is the power entrusted to you by the Lord and the church. Very clear to many of us that you have taken advantage and abused the power given in the name of Our Lord, and in the name of the Catholic Church. without money and the power of the church, what have you to offer?

  10. Adrian, I think I found your turtle! Oops, just a large slug. FYI, three days into talks with SNAP. They found it "rather enjoyable to speak with me". You want it - You got it Toyota!

  11. SNAP, SNAP, SNAP! Fr Adrian, you had better SNAP to it!
Good luck in prison. Don't forget to pack your turtle, and cats, and toys.

    2. Reflecting upon prison, we all lived in prison you know. Yes we walked around in freedom, but our hearts lived in prison all these years. We sat and we watched from a distance, Junglewatch then came and gave us hope. We found freedom in snap, yes Barbars Dorris would respond to those in need with words of comfort and hope.
We lived in our prison along time . Every day for over twenty years.

  12. Oh dear SNAP is not a word allowed in the chancery, John. Adrian and Tony seem to hide when SNAP was here in 2010. They used Deacon Barcinas as their face. Unfortunately, Deacon Barcinas has died. Foetunately, before he died he unknowingly met and talked with SNAP agents . One never knows where SNAP is.

  14. Dear Mr Mills:
Your presence in spirit, and also as a new celebrity in the Jungle has helped to shed even more light on the dark deeds of Chancery officials. The people of Guam would like to thank you for your contribution in cleaning up our Archdiocese.
If you "buddies" are ever on Guam again, have them contact the Jungle so we can give you a nice award for your great help in our cause to make Guam good once again. Since I doubt your friend Tony Apuron will be around much longer we will forward the award directly to you. At which address? Via the Santo Thomas kid, or via Fr John, or via Giuseppi?
