SAY YOU ARE INNOCENT, ARCHBISHOP.

It looks like if you're going to go to Mass wherever the Archbishop presides you get to hear about his lawsuit.

Here's a recording of him going on about it at the fiesta Mass for Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, and it was reported that he spoke about today at his 9:30am Mass.

I like the part where he talks about how he bragged to the pope about Guam having two seminaries. You're welcome, Archbishop. If not for me, you would only have one.

More interesting is that he still does not say he is innocent. He just calls the allegation a "horrible calumny". Say you are innocent, Archbishop. Don't give us your resume. Declare the charges false and say you are innocent.

In fact, you will soon have a chance to tell John Toves to his face.

  1. The caption for the picture of Pope Francis and AAA should have said: "No Tony, put your hand down. I don't kiss your ring, you kiss mine."

  2. Did I hear correctly on this recording that the Archbishop said "we tried to mend fences?" Who are the "WE" here? Shouldn't it be "I" tried to mend fences?

    1. That would still be incorrect since Apuron didn't try to mend anything.

  3. Simply say I'm innocent bring an end to this immediately. Constantly speaking about the abuse makes us sick Archbishop. We pray you are innocent but should evidence show you are not, please resign because you become cow dung .

  6. AAA seems to be struggling with his words and must have taken every bit of whatever is left of his soul to "read" his statement. So obvious, he is grasping at straws and is not just desperate, but in damage control mode. Still hiding behind the Church and his attorneys. Yes, WHY NOT JUST SAY YOU ARE INNOCENT AND IT NEVER HAPPENED? Step aside AAA and let the wheels of Church Justice do its work.

Diana's blog mentions that Deacon Claros does not have to entertain the accusation. WRONG! HE MUST. That is the whole purpose of SARC in the first place. Sad.

  9. honestly AA, shut up and meditate on this because that hole you're digging for yourself is getting deeper. Yes, we Chamorro's (at least the saina's) were at one time gullible to anything we hear. OMG, new generation, a time where we have to show strength on our faith because the younger generations are not into religion and here you go dividing it. You stand and brag because you thing the NEO's are beside you. dude, you need the majority of us which is less than them NEO"S to be there and trust again. I think Msg. James should be Archbishop, he'll be able to get things together again. I've lost my respect for you...............adios.

  10. ANTHONY SABLAN APURON HAS BEEN ACCUSED OF SEXUAL MOLESTATION, yet his reaction is to plan to file defamation lawsuit(s) in defense of the Church (not in defense of his reputation).

I'm sorry I cannot see the connection. Is this how sexual molestation cases against the Catholic clergy were handled in the US mainland? Or the case against now-Cardinal Pell?

    1. LOL! Anon 11:31 PM, he is probably busy trying to figure out how to write his acceptance speech, so he has no time to make comments at the moment.
