California man accusing archbishop of molestation

Guam - A California man who is accusing the head of the island's catholic church of sexual molestation is welcoming a defamation lawsuit. John Toves not only stands by his accusations but will be in Guam in the next 24 hours to confront the archbishop in person. (Read more)

Note: Regarding this story from KUAM, we sent a note of clarification to the author of this story stating the following:

Father Gofigan you may recall was removed as the head of Santa Barbara Church in Dededo last year for failing to follow a directive from the archbishop.
I know it's difficult to keep things straight, but for the record Fr. Paul was "accused" by the Archbishop for failing to follow a directive, but Fr. Paul produced the evidence (a letter of termination to the employee) that he had in fact followed the directive. Confronted with the evidence the Archbishop changed the charge to permitting the man to be in close proximity to parishioners...even though the record shows that Apuron himself had permitted the man to work at the church for 3 years upon his release from prison.
