Evidence Christ Offered the Last Supper as a Sacrifice

The Council of Trent declared:
If any one saith, that, by the sacrifice of the mass, a blasphemy is cast upon the most holy sacrifice of Christ consummated on the cross; or, that it is thereby derogated from; let him be anathema (The Canons on the Sacrifice of the Mass, canon 4).
The Catechism of the Catholic Church reaffirms Trent’s teaching: “The Eucharist is . . . a sacrifice” (CCC 1365).
The Catholic understanding of the Eucharist rests upon the belief that the Last Supper was a sacrifice. Blessed Pope Paul VI, in his 1965 encyclical Mysterium Fidei, called the Last Supper the “Eucharistic sacrifice” (MF 4).

And KIKO rejects the Last Supper and the Mass as a SACRIFICE. He refers to the Mass as a Celebration, a celestial BANQUET. Walking in the "WAY" is to walk away from the infallible teachings of the Catholic Church under the illusion that Rome has approved of "everything" in the NEO

ReplyDeleteChurch teaching on the Eucharist is a Dogma of the Catholic Faith, that means that these teachings are divinely revealed truths. But if the NCW has trouble believing Church Teaching, they have but listen to the words of our Lord who from his very lips tells us “For this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins” Matt 26:28. Jesus here assures us that the Eucharist is a sacrifice. The Fact that Jesus consecrates his body, separate from his blood speaks loudly and clearly of sacrifice. But as we have proven in this blog over and over for all the world to see the NCW takes its cue from Kiko and his rendition of what the Eucharist is and not Christ or his Church, therefore we cannot say that they are in full communion with the catholic church in many of its doctrines. Why many bishops and cardinals allow this heresy to flourish in the church is something they will have to give an account to Our Lord for.
ReplyDeleteOur Lord's sacrificial act which He calls us to be unified with, is an unutterably deep thing, serving, building up others, causing them to no longer be blocked off from true sources of life. Whilst - no doubt in the interests of deniability - itinerants I knew didn't explicitly contradict this teaching, and we were asked by them to study the CCC, their blatant and flagrant breaching of healthy boundaries gives the lie to any illusion of their adhesion. Then again most itinerants and Kiko are as it turns out less careful in their words and even worse in their actions and I believe those I knew were only a small minority and of an earlier generation. It is still difficult for us ordinary members to see which side of the balance is better, the issues are so cloaked from us, six or more hours a week for half a lifetime or a whole lifetime. In some dioceses it is quite a novelty that anyone wants to join us in a Bible study at all.
