NEO-MARXISM AND USEFUL IDIOTS AS MADE KNOWN TO US BY PATRISSE CULLORS AND TIMOTHY GUILE

Posted by Bob
Useful idiots" as Lenin would say - Museum-Quality Poster 16x16in ...The post that ran on Monday drew some interesting comments which are set out below. A term that came up in the back-and-forth was "useful idiots" defined "... Lenin is credited with describing as "useful idiots," i.e. one who propagandizes for a cause without fully comprehending the cause's goals, and is cynically used by the cause's leaders." One of the commenters challenged the accuracy of the  post's tying BLM to neo-Marxists and then went on to embrace the term, "useful idiots." Here are the links and an article quoting Patrisse Cullors one of three founders of BLM quoted thusly, “Myself and Alicia are particularly trained organizers — we are trained Marxists."(Click on the link to watch the video.)

This piece is very theoretical, yet makes an interesting empirical claim: 'The grand unifying principle for the Marxists behind the Black Lives Matter movement is that everything—and they mean everything—can be reduced to “oppressors” versus the “oppressed.”' The author offers no evidence that Marxists are behind the Black Lives Matter movement. Furthermore, I was recently at the BLM demonstration on Guam. I heard no mention made of Marx, Marxism, or Marxists. Instead, one could see a billboard with Martin Luther King, Jr.'s image on it. One could also hear the name of Anglican Archbishop Desmond Tutu mentioned in conversation. Both of these men were (or are) Christians and men of the cloth. Although they were not present physically, they were present spiritually. At least some of those demonstrators understood themselves to be both Christian and supportive of BLM...without contradiction.

If BLM brings about a more judicious use of police force, a national conversation about race relations in American society, an awakening to the many inequalities in America, an historical appreciation of how America became America, and policies to make good the civil rights of her citizens, then I will gladly accept the tag to my name: Timothy Guile, useful idiot.

Black Lives Matter Co-Founder Patrisse Cullors Confirms They Are ‘Trained Organizers and Marxists’ (VIDEO)

We already knew Black Lives Matter are radical neo-Marxists and the co-founder confirmed it during an interview this week.
Patrisse Cullors, the co-founder of Black Lives Matter proudly admitted she’s a radical, anti-white Marxist.
“We actually do have an ideological frame,” Cullors said. “Myself and Alicia are particularly trained organizers — we are trained Marxists. We are super versed on ideological theories…”
Black Lives Matter is seeking to transform America by defunding the police, dismantling capitalism, ‘destroying the patriarchy,’ breaking down the nuclear family unit, emptying prisons, redistributing wealth in the form of reparations among other far left objectives.
Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioters have destroyed small businesses, targeted churches and razed buildings to the ground.
Their goal is to bring chaos where there is order, fan the flames of class warfare and demonize Christians and conservatives.
The media praises Black Lives Matter and anyone who doesn’t bow down to them gets canceled.

  2. Thank you for the reference to the video in which Patrisse Cullors says she is a trained Marxist. The matter of her training is now settled.
Next, in anticipation of the November 2020 election, please consider the following issues of importance for BLM according to BLM’s #WhatMatters2020: racial injustice, police brutality, criminal justice reform, black immigration, economic injustice, LGBTQIA+ and human rights, environmental conditions, voting rights & suppression, health care, government corruption, education, and common sense gun laws.
Gauge your feelings about these topics. If you agree that they are issues of importance to be addressed by candidates in the upcoming election, does your opinion change about the topics if you are given the information that a trained Marxist agrees with you and supports your opinion about the importance of these issues?
Now consider another list: overturning Roe vs. Wade, preserving 2nd Amendment rights, expanding restrictions on foreign working visas or eliminating such visas altogether, building a southern border wall to restrict or block altogether Latin Americans seeking a better, safer life in the USA, appointing another Supreme Court justice of a conservative bent.
Register your feelings about these issues. If you agree that these are matters of concern to you, does it change your opinion about the issues if you are given the information that a man supports you who uses profane language in speeches, feels he can come up to any woman, kiss, and grab her private parts, has been accused by many women of sexual assault, established a “university” that operated against New York law and finally shut down, settled with tenants who accused him of tenant intimidation, conspired to avoid paying union pension and welfare contributions for undocumented Polish workers, has been repeatedly fined for breaking rules related to his operation of casinos, has been fined for antitrust violations, has admitted in a deposition to lying, has refused to pay workers and contractors on various projects, has had plagiarized materials used in a real-estate seminar, has headed a foundation that admits to violating IRS self-dealing rules (cf. The Atlantic, January 23, 2017) in addition to having had a porn star paid off, soliciting help from Ukraine and China to assist him to remain in office, and suggesting one could fend off the new corona virus by somehow introducing bleach into the body?
If none of these descriptors of a man running for the office of president matters to you, why should it matter to me that a trained Marxist who teaches art supports the BLM’s list of important campaign issues? After all, even Martin Luther King Jr. had a socialist and communist in his inner circle supporting him, and we Americans have made a national hero of Reverend King.

  3. Patrisse Collors’, the neo-Marxist, gas lighting in terms of issues is something that can have an impact on useful idiots who don’t understand that for Marxists of any stripe the issue is never the issue. The issue is the revolution. Neo-Marxists aren’t reformers—they’re revolutionaries.
I noted with interest that your own framing of issues states the false equivalence between environmental conditions, inter alia, and abortion. You contrast the virtue of the neo-Marxist, Patrisse Collors, with that of President Trump, suggesting a couple questions:
    1. Did you vote for Bill Clinton?
    2. Will you support a candidate endorsed by neo-Marxists?
    3. Do you embrace the appearance of a Faustian bargain?
