IT'S GETTING TEDIOUS. LOL!

Anonymous Neo leaves me a little love note, lecturing me with the usual neo-name-dropping blather. Just thought I'd share. (In return, I offer Anonymous Neo a lecture as well...BUT not by me!)

Mr. Tim Rohr: you are in your own little world. You have lived on a small island too long and forgot the Universal Church. Look who attended the Audience in Rome with Pope Francis. Do you think you are better than this company of Church leaders? Gathered in the Paul VI Audience Hall were young people, priests, seminarians, itinerant catechists and families. Also present were 50 bishops and 11 cardinals, among them Cardinal Agostino Vallini, the Cardinal Vicar of Rome, Cardinal Antonio Canizares Llovera, prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, and Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz, Archbishop of Krakow and former secretary to Blessed Pope John Paul II.
READ: Prefect of Divine Worship...so what is your problem now? Drop it. Please. It is getting tedious.

Ummm, Mr. Tedious, why do you continue to "play in the jungle?" Take your toys and go home. The fact that you have visited here frequently enough to call our discussion "tedious" is evidence that you know that I am effective, and your love note here confirms that I and this blog are getting way too close to the truth for you.

Intelligent readers of this blog will note that I have posted nothing but facts and with documentation to boot. Nothing but the truth. You have only to produce one small document, one small note permitting your practice of ignoring the now infamous Footnote 49, and my whole argument against you would crumble.

Yet you pummel with Arius-like numbers and names and insult everyone who has a view different than yours. What happened to you Neos just shutting up and thanking us for the persecutions? I guess it was all a show because no one ever had the influence to truly do damage to your heretical movement before. So it was easy then to mouth your fake platitudes about "persecutions". Now that it really hurts, you cry.

And as for your little list of bishops (don't forget to include Apuron), here is an important message:

“I do not think there are many among Bishops that will be saved, but many more that perish.” - St. John Chrysostom, Extract from St. John Chrysostom, Homily III on Acts 1:12

"I do not think there are many among Bishops that will be saved, but many more that perish: and the reason is, that it is an affair that requires a great mind. Many are the exigencies which throw a man out of his natural temper; and he had need have a thousand eyes on all sides. Do you not see what a number of qualifications the Bishop must have? To be apt to teach, patient, holding fast the faithful word in doctrine (see 1 Tim. iii. 2–9; Tit. i. 7–9). What trouble and pains does this require! And then, others do wrong, and he bears all the blame. " St. John Chrysostom, Homily III on Acts 1:12

Come on back. Bring your friends. Drive up those numbers in the column to the right. It's the only thing the Nuncio is really watching.

  1. For what it's worth:

25 Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one of the bulls and prepare it first, since there are so many of you. Call on the name of your god, but do not light the fire.” 26 So they took the bull given them and prepared it.

Then they called on the name of Baal from morning till noon. “Baal, answer us!” they shouted. But there was no response; no one answered. And they danced around the altar they had made.

    First Day of Aguinaldo Masses

    Circular 2011-38

    RE: Neo Catechumenal Communities

My dear brothers in the priesthood:

In my letter to you on Pentecost Sunday this year entitled “SEEKING COMMUNION IN CHARITY: Pastoral Instructions on the Neo Catechumenal Way”, I laid out some pastoral guidelines to insure that the members of the Catholic faithful who have taken the Way may find themselves always integrated with the parish community life.

On the matter of opening new communities and starting new evangelization, the discretion was entrusted to the parish priests where there are already existing communities. After consulting some members of the presbyterium, it is our discernment that no new communities of the Neo Catechumenal Way must be opened and no new evangelization must be initiated within the year 2012. Instead, the members of the Catholic faithful who have begun walking the Way must just be sustained and guided towards the next steps. We must concentrate our efforts on those who are already walking the Way and refrain from starting new communities until all questions about the Way have been clearly settled.

Furthermore, the guidelines of the archdiocese on the matter of Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion must be diligently observed too when the Masses with the Neo Catechumenal communities are celebrated. Only duly commissioned EMHC may assist in the distribution of Holy Communion.

Please be guided by this directive and convey the same to the parishioners who are walking the Way. Thank you.

    Sincerely yours,

    +SOCRATES B. VILLEGAS

    Archbishop of Lingayen Dagupan

    Feast of Saint Matthias, Apostle

    Circular 2102-16

RE: Liturgy of the Neo Catechumenal Way

    My dear brother priests:

With regard to the questions that our parish priests have raised about the practices of the Neo Catechumenal Way in the celebration of the Eucharist, I have sought the assistance of the Episcopal Commission on Liturgy of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines. Enclosed with this circular is the position of the said Episcopal Commission regarding the matter.

Please take note that the only permission granted to the Way is the transfer of the Rite of the Peace after the Prayer of the Faithful and the reception of Holy Communion under both species either kneeling down or standing up but not sitting down.

Other than these two permissions, the Masses celebrated for the members of the Neo Catechumenal Way must strictly observe the General Instruction of the Roman Missal and the other instructions of the Congregation for Divine Worship. In particular, the hosts and wine to be used for the Eucharist must be the same as those used in the dioceses of the Philippines.

I entrust these clarifications to your kind information and faithful observance. Please be assured of my pastoral concern.

    Sincerely yours,

    +SOCRATES B. VILLEGAS

    1. I sure would like to see the Holy Father dance around the altar during a NEO celebration.

    2. Can't; he is very flat footed. Besides, his dance of choice is the TANGO....of course.

    3. I don't understand the dancing around the altar but I imagine it exoresses their joy for the Lord. I won't mention his name, but some of you may know of whom I speak. This gentleman was very involved in his parish and was a reverant, Catholic man. He was taught about the sanctity of the altar (though I am decades younger, I was taught the same from my mother). One night as he made his rounds locking the doors, to his dismay, he witnessed the Archbishop dancing around the altar. This disturbed him and in his heart he felt it was wrong and expressed that "the Archbishop should not be dancing around the altar". I guess the Arch danced the way David danced before the Arc of the Covenant, but in this manamko's view the dance was one of disrespect.

  6. David in his loin cloth dancing with great abandon around the ark of the Covenant.... Don't even make me visualize that one.

  7. The NCW is so proud of all the scarlet and purple on their side. Lest you forget, it's many a scarlet and purple that gave Benedict such a scandal it was one reason, if not the main reason, he resigned. You remember the investigation done by the 3 older cardinals? It was turned in to Benedict; it didn't take him long after that to resign. Your list of cardinals and bishops does not impress. The faith is the faith. And many a cardinal and bishop has betrayed it. Read your church history.

  8. Mr. Tedious counts 50 bishops....while the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church has St. Teresa, St. Catherine, St. Bridget, St. Elizabeth, Mother Teresa etc...NEO (New Evil Order) has NONE....too bad so sad!

  9. I posted this picture on my facebook, and someone commented it was a nice picture of the "junglewatch family". I had to go back and look at it again and it somehow reminds me of the guy and his followers berating Pope Francis.

    1. How regrettable that you sully your soul with such thoughts. You may think you are clever but unfortunately so does Satan. I pray you are not continuing to congratulate yourselves for this contempt.

    2. Yes. How dare anyone have an opinion not in support of the Neocatecumenal Way. The fact is that Satan is the father of lies and division. And WHO has chosen to separate themselves from the Church? Produce one document, the one document which authorizes the NCW to receive communion differently than the rest of us, one document that authorizes the priest to distribute communion before he himself receives, just one document, and this all goes away. Just one document. Waiting.
