MAKE NO MISTAKE. THIS IS A NEO FUNDRAISER.

The Hilton was called. The Hilton directed the call to a phone number. The phone was answered by person very involved with the Neocatechumenal Way. The caller was instructed to make checks out to the Archdiocese of Agana.

  1. That explains the posters at the entrance of most churches I've visited.. Fundraising for legal costs? Why are we fund raising? we don't need it. The Church just gave away 40+ million dollar property from our surplus. We surely have more to give away.

  2. It's to fund the most often cited fruit of the NCW - sending neo kids to world youth day.

  3. Kids to World Youth Day sounds like a good idea if all kids get to participate. Hopefully they will be safer off-island than to stay here with the bishop.

    1. Archie will be tagging along. He always goes. how about if I want my non-neo child to go, will this help defray some of his expenses?

    2. I am Anon 2:36 . . . on second thought, if the bishop is going I will not even consider sending my child. After hearing what he did to the boys in Agat, I will never let my kids anywhere near him. I love my kids too much to subject them to the animal we have found out he is.

    3. Will Luis the Licker be there to chaperone the little children around?

  4. Kids going to World Youth day must be adept at shaking the tambourine and dancing around a table adorned with a menorah and flowers. All others need not apply!

  5. How do you know that anon @2.36?
Have you thought of who is going to chaperone these kids? Edwin the Waldo? Luis Camacho? Wades on? Or some other half baked Presbyter?
At this point I have no trust in who this chancery is gonna choose.

    1. Yep. The PR guy from the Vatican is CEO of Salt and Light Media Foundation, based in Toronto, Pius’ old stomping grounds. You don’t have to look far to find the source of the accusation about blogs being a “cesspool of hatred.” The Vice-President of Salt and Light is Rudy DeSiato:

“DeSiato, who promotes the network among such ecclesial movements as the Neocatechumenal Way, to which he’s belonged for 20 years.”

    2. So the same old song. Any speech against the neocats is hatred. Yawn.

  7. A while back I was told by one of those young people going to the World Youth Day in Rio that my teenager could not go because it was only for the NEO Youth. I said, "What if I wanted to pay for his way?" She told me that he still would not be allowed to go. I knew for sure it was a cult then. They really think they are the chosen ones.

    1. WYD is for all interested youth. Please check the official website for the wyd. Forms for assistance, (housing/hosts, local transport, even financial, I think, etc.), should be forthcoming if not already available. I believe, too, that youth are expected to be grouped as in from parishes or other. Please check contacts and more info online.spn2

    2. That's misleading. While WYD is "for all interested youth," the money raised from this event is not for "all interested youth." Given its organizers, it is for the neocats only. More specifically, it is to pay for the seminarians who will go to WYD with the neocat youth. It is absolutely sickening to hear the neocat girls swoon over the seminarians. Maybe WYD is where Lickin' Looey picked up his happy habit.

    3. I'm just going to outright call bullshit on the NEO lies that Wirld Youth Day is for ALL our youth. As the former head of our parish youth group and altar servers we tried several times to raise enough money for our kids but we are a very small parish and we just couldn't do it. I would watch with disgust as the Archbishop and his band of merry NEOS would do all of these elaborate fundraisers for the NEO kids but not ours. Every time the NEOS went and ours never did. I would see photos on FB and other places of the Archbishop with these kids smiling and having fun together. Meantime on the few occasions the Archbishop would even come to our parish he wouldn't even smile and didn't talk to anyone and acted like our kids didn't exist. It made me so angry and resentful that our parish children were treated like nothing to the Archbishop. Now, after the news from Roy Quintanilla that the archbishop molested him when he was a 12-year-old altar server, all I can say is THANK YOU GOD THAT THE ARCHBISHOP DIDN'T CARE ENOUGH TO PAY ATTENTION TO OUR CHILDREN! What a blessing indeed!

    4. I wasn't referring to the "local fundraiser" but just trying to point to L. Leon Guerrero to the WYD Official website KRAKOW2016 (Spelling?). While I sometimes wonder whether the neo invented WYD seeing how they have to show their number
every year. (Yes... beg, borrow, or steal, comes to mind.) Spn2

  8. The true highlight for NEOs at World Youth Day is to be in the presence of Kiko. Most could care less about seeing the pope.
