http://press.vatican.va/content/salastampa/en/bollettino/pubblico/2016/06/04/160604c.html
Vatican City, 4 June 2016 – Today at 11 a.m., in the Apostolic Palace, the Holy Father Francis received in a private audience Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser...Subsequently, at the Secretariat of State...The discussions focused on the situation of the Catholic community in Qatar.
Luis, are you reading this?
And in today's Umatuna:
Another case of a new video not showing the fist pumping presbyter. This is not the press release. This is a modified version. I guess they just wanted to mention Tim Rohr and nobody else.
ReplyDeleteSo much for even pretending that there would be an investigation. My sincerest thanks to Tony Diaz for allowing himself to be bullied in printing this lovely illustration of how the Archbishop doesn't take sex abuse cases seriously. Not just Apuron, not just Adrian the Chancellor, not just Edivaldo the spokesman, but the Archdiocese's self-promoting media outlet.
ReplyDeleteWhoa Tim!!
ReplyDeleteI did not know that your office grew that much...
You have now "Associates"? Impressive!! Business must be very good.
LOL.....
Whoever is writing these press releases keeps stating "Tim Rohr and his associates" are creating division in our Catholic Church and hatred toward the Archbishop and the Church. First, my advice to Archbishop Apuron and "his associates"--look in the mirror! You are the ones causing this division, especially Apuron, VG Quitugua and Cristobal. You guys have squandered the trust and confidence the Faithful Catholics of Guam have placed in you to run our Archdiocese well. You all are greedy, conceited, narcissistic, elitists who care little for the people of the Archdiocese. You have become corrupt, living plastic lives, thinking you are the greatest gift to our people. You think you are all doing well. You believe your own lies to be the truth. You can't discern the truth from your lies anymore. If you truly believe you are doing well, and telling the people the truth about all your actions, then you need a reality check, and should check into Liars Anonymous to stop your addiction to lies and greed.
ReplyDeleteTim and "his associates" are trying to mend the division by exposing your lies, your deceit, your financial mismanagement of the patrimony of our Archdiocese; secret deals (like giving away our most expensive asset for free) with the Neocats, etc. Tim and his "associates" are the ones trying to clean our Church by working to kick out all of you running the Chancery and the Archdiocese, as well as removing from Guam, your "associates", the Neocats! You and your neocat allies are not the only members of the Church here in Guam, so stop hiding behind that term; you are not the Archdiocese; you are charlatans; you are strays from the fold! And stop telling us that Archbishop Apuron is a righteous and humble person trying to clean up the Church. He would do well to leave Guam and go live in Malta with the Stinking Monk! You guys think Guam is your playground. Well, we are fighting back! Our "associates" group number in the thousands and probably at this point in the tens of thousands!
- I am totally lost in the constant referral that Jungle Watch is against the Catholic Church and several other excuses. When will the NEOs admit that we are "NOT AGAINST THE CATHOLIC CHURCH" but "AGAINST BROTHER TONY - THE LOST SHEPARD OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH ON GUAM"! The Catholic Church did not commit the ALLEGED (in my case - I believe these are true allegations) sexual abuse of the young "ALTAR - not alter" boys by Brother Tony. On another note - Tim Rohr and Associates for Concerned Guam Catholics does have a nice ring to it.
ReplyDeletePutrid!! Get ready to jump! Almost, almost, sinking!! Every man for himself!!
ReplyDeletePutrid, how do you intend to defend the indefensible?
ReplyDeletePius: stinking, sinking, sinning, slinking piece of crap there ever was!
ReplyDeletePius will just run home to mama Malta.
Deletethe archbishop should just retire gracefully while he can to save face. Although the letter issued by the Pope does not go into effect until September, rest assured that as a result of the letter they will indeed after all reviews and procedures are completed, give Tony a chance to resign prior to them firing him. He should just save everyone all of the trouble now and step down. As a man of God he knows he has done wrong and committed grave errors against young boys, the Catholic faithful and the Church. It is time now to say your goodbyes and leave your post with what little dignity you still have in place. Then the healing can begin.
ReplyDeleteThere is no way Apuron will retire gracefully, after all the atrocities he has inflicted upon the Archdiocese, the innocent, the valunerable. This clown will go down in history as the greatest betrayer of the Catholic Church in Guam.
DeleteWe don't want him to retire...We want him to experience the most arduous end to his reign....Retirement would mean we will have to put up with more of his endless web of lies. Best for everyone that he be thrown out and have his faculties removed.
ReplyDeletebefore things get any worse Apuron really should just give up and admit or even respond about the two allegations against him. If he keeps having others speak on his behalf and other courageous young altar boys come forward there's no way he can say it didn't happen for that's one to many and you can't say they are all lying. Apuron should save what (if any) good he has and step down. I guess they are trying to find a loop hole not realizing Mr. Tim has all bases and important people covered. I spoke with a bunch of people I met down in Agat( who are from the village) during FESTPAC and they feel the same as I do......step down AAA. Even those that are not Catholics hope you can admit you've done wrong because you are human and not above anyone and step down.
ReplyDeleteYOUR PRIDE IS FRIED...You lose.
KATOLIKO
Flo B.
It is sooo too late for anything graceful in Apurons life ! !
ReplyDeleteIn other words, Tim and his "associates" demand that we (the church) return to finacial crisis status and debt piling. Hahaha. No. Just no. Is THAT what they think when the people (oh, i mean, "Tim & his associates) demand transparency in regards to RMS? So....what spices are used in making BS curry, again? I know it something that tastes like Denial and deflection.
ReplyDeleteAh ah funny guy!!! The Church on Guam has been financially mismanaged for decades. Once in a while Apuron throws some one under the Bus to hide his own ineptitude and total lack of responsibility. He has allowed most of the faithful funds to be diverted by Pius and Genarrini for their own benefit. What spices indeed.
DeleteJewis, remember everything is signed by the boss. If you don't get rid of that boss, the financial crises and debt piling will not stop. Tim doesn't sign anything for the church. I guess you didn't know that because you keep blaming him and his associates.
ReplyDeleteJewlz is using sarcasm
DeleteThanks, Jose. Lol
DeleteYes i was being sarcastic. I didn't know Tim has "associates" other than those concerned about the direction our church is being led and its lack of transparency. I could write a novel on it, but i decided i'd just paraphrase what was written on the May 31 statement and thow in some sarcasm. Lol. Maybe i'm doing something wrong.
DeleteHey Tim, can I be one of your minions? Or better yet, one of your cronies. I've always wanted to be a cronie! : )
ReplyDeleteTo be a proper crony, first you need to learn how to spell it.
DeleteYou cannot blame this one on your spell check!
Face it. You were never cut out to be a minion, either.
Let the Guam NCW Cult leadership savor it in their short time remaining. Joy!
Andrew is on our side so I believe he was being facetious :)
DeleteUnfortunately I am also a bad speller. Apologies.
DeleteIt is I who must apologize, Andrew, that my attempts at subtle humor in riposte to your own were nowhere nearly as successful as your original, your poetic submissions, and innumerable other contributions to this blog.
DeleteNo, you were never cut out to be a Guam NCW Cultist, even though you have their spelling down pat! (As do we all, at times, especially with help from cell phone Kiko-correct.)
While spelling is not unimportant, truth matters much more. Let us pray that the new apostolic administrator lead us in that direction.
May God bless you and all that you continue to do.
No worries, CNMI Lawyer. Any humor gives us a brief respite from the difficult and painful times we are in. May our prayers continue to pour forth and may God bless us with the healing we so desperately need.
