Re: Letters to Apostolic Administrator, et al.:
Yoña real property deeded away by Apuron; September 1, 2016
Msgr. David C. Quitugua, the Yoña property and the RMS; September 7, 2016
Attempted visit to the RMS Seminary per our email of September 1; September 8, 2016

Dear Father Jeff:

When we had breakfast on August 19 I shared with you the paper called Considerations that Greg Perez and I had presented to the Apostolic Administrator. I especially called your attention to ¶11) since it was you who had, in effect, replaced Quitugua:

11) Apuron’s chief henchmen, Vicar General David C. Quitugua and Chancellor Adrian Cristobal, not only continued as part of the Hon régime but have been showcased by Hon in newly formed ad hoc committees. Quitugua and Cristobal were replaced yesterday. Their replacements’ credibility will depend on inter alia two factors:

First, the degree to which Quitugua and Cristobal are prevented by Hon from using their positions influence, connections, power and alliances to maintain control of the archdiocese in the absence of their titles;

Two, the willingness of the replacements to counsel the Apostolic Administrator to  repudiate and apologize the flawed policies of the two and repair the damage that Quitugua (see 20) re Quitugua and the Umatuna.) and Cristobal caused.

Our breakfast was a follow up to the presentation that Dave Sablan, President of CCOG, Richard Untalan, former member of the Archdiocesan Finance Counsel and I made at the request of the Apostolic Administrator concerning  the return of the Yoña realty to the Archdiocese. My letter of September 1 was a follow up to that meeting. We were genuinely interested in assisting.

My letter of September 7 revealed my shock and amazement when the Apostolic Administrator appointed Quitugua the acting rector of the seminary on the Yoña realty, i.e. the RMS seminary. The letter detailed the participation of Quitugua in the giveaway of the real property and Quitugua’s role in the cover up to include his publication of the November 29 Umatuna.

The September 8 letter [which is now public] from Lou Klitzkie of the LFM to the Apostolic Administrator detailed how you let the same QUITUGUA overrule you and lock Lou and the other ladies out.

I gave it a few days so that you and the Apostolic Administrator could take action. However, neither you nor the Apostolic Administrator were courteous enough to even acknowledge receipt of any of the letters, especially Lou’s,  much less respond to them.

Needless to say, I can’t let any of this go. I do offer one piece of advice, though. The Apostolic Administrator might consider the complete removal words like “harmony” and “unity” from his rhetoric as their use being the height of insincerity.

The subject of this letter is “What next?” I’m sure you understand the meaning thereof given the course of dealing among us after my misbegotten attempt to be of assistance. You may rest assured, however, that what ever it is that you plan, I will be ready.

Sincerely,

Robert Klitzkie

  1. A big FYI to Hon and Jeff. Don't mess with Bob. He's just getting started. Neither of you know what the hell you are doing. First you appoint a person publicly at odds with Catholic moral teaching to chair a committee to enact Catholic morals, then you appoint as rector of the seminary the same guy who gave it away. SMH and WTF. THIS IS A JOKE.

  2. Mr. Klitzkie,
Your untiring effort to continue to pursue Fr. Jeff and Hon to hopefully do the right and prudent decision to rid the Archdiocese of Quitugua and Cristobal will result in some confidence that these individuals who are instrumental in the destruction of this archdiocese be held accountable for their actions, and removed from causing additional damage to the Guam Church. These are men of the cloth not at all concerned about curation of souls, but are motivated by greed and desire for power and recognition.

  3. Fr.Jeff is out of his depth.
He has no idea what he is doing.
Best thing he can do is resign his position to save his face. You are being used Jeff. Wake up!

  5. - Rooting You On Bob Klitzkie! It is time that these so called Catholic Administrators here on Guam know that We are not Fooling Around and that We know We are not Stupid as they seem to think We Are! I, personally, am so embarrassed on how Our Own Chamorro Catholic Administrators are treating the True Katolikus on Guam! Bring Back the Good Old Days When Priests Took Care of Their Parishioners in their service to God. I guess now-a-days it is true that "Money is the Root of All Evil!"

  6. Anon@11:10PM...Don't do it Fr. Jeff! DO NOT GIVE UP! I am praying that you do the right thing: EXECUTE what is in your heart; EXHUME, EXPOSE, EXPEL the NCW and all their heresies from our island and RESTORE the ONE, TRUE HOLY AND CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH AND FAITH to us who are praying for you and are with you to do what JESUS would want you to do. Esta.

  8. has that day arrived, that we the parishioners must lead or hold the hands of the clergy to the fire, just so they live up to their professions...

  9. D. Anthony @ 6:52AM....That day has always been available for the laity. We need to muster the courage to come forward and hold all clergy to the "fire." I pray Fr. Jeff does not get caught up in this web. Seek the truth, Fr. Jeff, that, that is in your heart.

  11. The Church hierarchy has a command structure akin to the military. The Delegate to the Administrator (still wondering why Fr. Jeff was not appointed Vicar General and all appurtenances that accrue with that title) and the Chancellor both operate at the will of the Apostolic Administrator. It is Archbishop Hon who is making the missteps and the delays. It is his style and motivation that we question, and not the peons he appointed to these sublevel positions. What we have to advocate, just my personal belief, is for a new Archbishop of Agana who will make moot the position of Administrator by making decisions forward. Apuron is history and should be left to answer for the baggage that he incurred, so with Cristobal and DQ who merely said "yes" to the whims of Apuron.

    1. Not VG because Hon is not bishop but just Apostolic Administrator.

    1. I am committed to removing the Kiko's "Way" from the Church altogether. However, I am more committed to removing those things that made the contemporary church fertile ground for such an ugly error. Locally, we have to come to grips with the fact that all the horrors we are now hearing about are rooted in what most people think are the good ol days and happened long before the neo's showed up. They just took advantage of the situation. I am deeply concerned that the majority of people on "our side" do not see this.

    2. This is an essential element that Tim raised. The evils of the present day NCW only happened because of Apurons double life before neo arrived.Apuron was a weak leader because his serious human flaws were known by priests. It used to be said last priest Apuron talk with he swung with them. Apurons
Sins of the past were the factor. He had to side support certain priests because they held knowledge of the abuse. Readers must try understand the history going on here. This is about Apuron David Adrian. Tim knows, i know, every priest knows. Sex abuse/ sexual pestering by Apuron is the issue. Readers you do not know the depth of the sickness of your leaders. But hey the bill passed!

  13. david c's appointment is confirmation that hon and fr jeff continue to believe that the ncw and the rms are good things whose presence on the island must be maintained.

their lack of response to david's lockout of the visitors also confirms that pius and david c are still very much in control.

i remember fr jeff to be a nice guy. but this is a complete wtf. not even an acknowledgment of receipt of bob klitzkie's mail?

when i was much younger, i used to be in awe of the priests of the agaña cathedral. because it's the big rich cathedral, you know. air-conditioned, even. and david c used to give passionate and articulate homilies. and ooo ahh, he went to rome to study canon law. and now, ha! so naive i was. melchizedek is doing a face-palm. God send us a john vianney or a padre pio or a solanus casey.

specifically with regard to sarah nededog's appointment, i wonder who hon relied on for that appointment. since it seems that he hardly listens to the laity, i can only assume that he got a "short list" of possible appointees from the local clergy. given that assumption, the big question is: which of the clergy would have given that recommendation?

    1. That explains it. Jeff is so very naive yet very hard-headed when he has to make a decision. This position is way over his head, just like at FD when he was principal. He is great as a priest when it comes to sincerity, humility and empathy but not good with decision-sensitive material. His second-guessing on issues does not help either. People just have to know their gifts and limitations.

As for a SARC or Child Protection Committee, the appointees are better off non-clergy, i.e., not in the command chain of the Archdiocese, especially with the suspicion associated with recent church administration.

    2. Yes, you are correct. In some dioceses in the mainland a group of lay professionals decide whether or not accusations against a priest are credible. It works better because the lay professionals are not part of the "Old Boys Club" and, thus, are more objective.

  14. I hold absoloute evidence of Jeffs poor judgement when it comes to sensitive decesion material. It is difficult to reveal infomation as others would be hurt. Honestly as an administrator guardian of peace unity he has poor judgement. Remember he knows Apurons deep dark sexual past but still gives support to him.

    1. I agree that Fr. Jeff is not the man for the position he has undertaken though he means well. But his love for Apuron is a Christ-like love that does not endorse Apuron's alleged sexual abuse.

    2. 9.14pm when you are aware a person is a serial child molester you have a moral duty to remove the person or report him to law enforcement. Showing christ like love does not save children. Sorry.

  15. Connect the dots. Quitugua spent Ten years studying in Rome for a two year class. Why did Anthony Apuron allow this. Have you read Quitugua's canon law thesis. A third year seminarian with basic canon law could have composed his thesis. wake up Guam!

  16. There is no priest on island that has the fortitude and wisdom to shepherd this diocese back to health. That said, Fr. Jeff has proven that he cannot lead, Hon has proven that his "word" is worthless, and Rome has no intention of correcting the NCW scandal.
Onward Christian soldiers, put on the armor of God, and defend the Faith until the Holy Spirit anoints a new Archbishop that can clean up our Church and restore true Unity.
St, Michael the Archangel, protect us!
