PROACTIVE VERSUS REACTIVE: PICKETING FOR JUSTICE

Abp Hon attempted to play catch up with the rest of the laity but in doing so, steered way off course and ended up becoming lostyet again.

So what did we do?

Like a beacon in a great fog (haze?) the laity set out in front of the Cathedral with our signs and our prayers, giving our efforts a voice in order that Abp Hon recalibrate his bearings and be drawn back into the light - yet again.

Here are just a few pictures:

By the way, this is how a Church demonstrates what a Church is and does.  Take note that there is not a single brick and mortar structure to be found.  Catholics remaining Catholic.

  1. So let's sell all the parishes and schools and use that money to pay compensation to these victims. Who needs these buildings anyways? Put it on your signs: TEAR DOWN THE CHURCHES!

Love that building-less Church!! Matthew 6:21: “… for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Our treasure is in God, in the Church, in our Catholic faith. Not in our assets.

  4. Yes!! The Church rose from the ruins after the war, it can rise from the moral ruin it has brought upon itself. Pope Francis often expresses his preference and hope for a "poor Church"... you can believe he would have no part of such a scandalous petition as was circulated today in the parishes, in the service of mammon.
