Yesterday, neocat catechist Tricky Dick Eusebio, called a press conference to inform the media of his "just conjecture" and "the truth as he understood it."Those were his words. That was how he characterized his own statements after the media began to ask him some serious questions. You can watch the full 1 hour, 17 minute, and 24 second long press fiasco here:

The main aim of Tricky Dick's statement was an attempt to discredit the earlier statement of Mother Dawn Marie, the Mother Prioress of Guam's Carmelite Monastery and community of nuns, a community that as of this month is, after 50 years, no longer on Guam.

In her statement to the press on November 15, 2016, Mother Dawn Marie related a first hand account of being in St. Louis, MO on December 17, 2014 in the office of the Prioress of the Carmelite community which had, in 2003, at the request of Mother Dawn Marie, provided the 2 Million dollars to the Archdiocese of Agana to pay off the bank loan on the Yona Property.

Mother Dawn Marie was there at the very moment an email from Archbishop Apuron arrived asking the St. Louis Prioress to sign a letter, already written, stating that the original intent of the 2003 donation was for the purpose of establishing the Redemptoris Mater Seminary and the Blessed Diego Institute, both Neocatechumenal Way entities.

A timeline:

NOV 15, 2002: Archdiocese of Agana (aka Archbishop of Agana, A Corporation Sole) takes legal possession of the property via Instrument No. 665749, Warranty Deed, recorded at GovGuam Department of Land Management.  The property was purchased for approximately 2 Million dollars and a mortgage was procured from Bank of Guam with mortgage and interest payments of $13,000 per month.

Mother Dawn Marie, Mother Prioress of the Guam Carmelites and a high ranking member of the Carmelite order, of her own accord and desiring to assist the Archdiocese of Agana, approaches a sister Carmelite community in St. Louis and solicits their financial assistance.

JAN 02, 2003: The Carmelite community in St. Louis, MO, agrees to lend Archdiocese of Agana the money to pay off the approximate 2 Million dollar mortgage note, interest free. (The offer of a loan eventually became a free and clear gift).

DEC 17, 2014: Mother Dawn Marie, on business for her Carmelite order, is in the office of the St. Louis Carmelite community when an email from Archbishop Apuron arrives addressed to the Prioress of the St. Louis community. In the email Apuron asks the St. Louis Prioress to sign a pre-written letter stating that the original intent of the 2003 donation was for the "purchase of the Accion Hotel for the Archdiocese of Agana for the purpose of housing the Redemptoris Mater Seminary and the Theological Institute for the formation of priests."

NOV 15, 2016: After several years of silently suffering the effects of Apuron and Pius' attack on traditional vocations (only neocat "vocations" were encouraged and funded), Mother Dawn moved her community to the states and as a parting gift relates why her community had to leave Guam and the first hand account of what happened upon receipt of Apuron's Dec 17, 2014 letter:
  • The St. Louis Prioress wrote back to Apuron telling him that she could not sign the letter because it was not true.
  • The Prioress stated that she had never heard of the Redemptoris Mater Seminary, the Blessed Diego Institute or the Neocatechumenal Way.
  • She stated that her community's only intent was to help relieve the Archdiocese of Agana of a financial burden and to help provide a seminary for the formation of priests for the Church in Guam.
  • Apuron's letter is sent to the Apostolic Delegate for Oceania who then forwards it to Rome, where Archbishop Hon, Secretary for the Evangelization of Peoples, reads it.
NOV 21, 2016: Ric Eusebio, neocat catechist and former member of the RMS board of directors, calls a press conference to refute Mother Dawn Marie's Nov 15 statement. The basis for his refutation is his claim that Mother Dawn is lying because he can prove that the St. Louis Prioress (who he said is "deceased" but happens to be alive and well), intended the St. Louis community's donation specifically for the Neocatechumenal Redemptoris Mater Seminary and Blessed Diego Institute. Eusebio's evidence is a 2003 email exchange between Apuron and the St. Louis Prioress.

As you can see, there is no mention of Neocatechumenal Way, Redemptoris Mater Seminary, or Blessed Diego Institute. And it is curious that Apuron makes no mention of those names. Perhaps he did not want to tip her off to what he was up to. But even if there was mention of those names, why would a cloistered Carmelite, hidden away from the world for 50 years in a life of silence, sacrifice, and prayer, just happen to know the name of the seminary and that it was connected with the Neocatechumenal Way?

This is Eusebio's "conjecture" (his word). Eusebio said that because the name of the seminary was public knowledge and because "everybody knows" that Redemptoris Mater seminaries are associated with the Neocatechumenal Way, that the Carmelite Prioress "had to know" what she was giving the money to. Can you all say LOL?

The Carmelite vocation is precisely to LEAVE the public, to NOT pay attention to the mundane and profane, but simply to sacrifice and pray for us, and specifically for priests. Moreover, since Apuron does not tell her anything about the Neocatechumenal Way or the name of the seminary, she, like so many of us, probably expected the seminary to be nothing other than a diocesan seminary. There was no reason to suspect that it was to be a seminary SPECIFICALLY constituted to prepare men ONLY "according to the life and practice of the Neocatechumenal Way" as Article 3 of its 2002 Articles of Incorporation state!

One of Eusebio's major claims is that the priests formed at RMS are no different than priests formed at any other diocesan seminary. Eusebio has to say this because millions have been bilked, not only from the Carmelites, but from the faithful of Guam, who, for going on two decades, gave a lot of money to this seminary believing that it was creating "priests for Guam."

However, if that was the case then there would have been NO need to erect a second seminary (on December 8, 2013) to form priests for Guam. In fact, in an article published in the Umatuna on that date, it was clearly stated that RMS existed to create priests "for the wider mission of salvation "to the ends of the earth."

That's nice that we want to send priests out to the ends of the earth, but that's not what we were told while RMS pocketed millions from our collections and constant fund raisers, all the while squelching traditional diocesan vocations for our local boys.

The bottom line however, is that RMS, per its own stated purpose, existed to form priests ONLY "according to the life and practice of the Neocatechumenal Way." And while most of did not know that or did not know what that actually meant, we began learning what that really meant once they started putting these badly deformed presbyters in our parishes and we could see for ourselves that not only did they NOT care for our Catholic Mass, they mocked it and us from the very altar at which they stood.

Oh, that's right. They don't believe in an "altar."

Lastly, we all really need to thank Eusebio. Archbishop Byrnes has stated that his first step upon arrival in Guam will be to "listen." Super. Well, we want him to listen to the Neocatechumenal Way FIRST. And Tricky Dick has provided us more evidence of just how rotten this thing is than anything we could say or attempt to prove. Note: No offense to the innocent followers, but GET OUT OF IT, NOW!

One last note: In his press conference, Dirty Dick made the name of the St. Louis Prioress known. This was ABSOLUTELY OFF LIMITS from the beginning. The Carmelite vocation is precisely NOT to be known. Mother Dawn Marie herself kept quiet about all this and only came forward because she saw that the lies of Tricky Dick and Putrid Pius were at the root of much of the hell Apuron and Adrian created. For the good and eventual peace of the Church, she came forward with a FIRST HAND account of all the events. Yet stupid Dirty Dick wants us to believe:
Eusebio said Mother Superior Dawn Marie’s claim of a toxic environment has been fueled “by her own desire to seek public attention and provide her rendition of the truth in regards to the seminary.”
“She attempts to discredit Archbishop Apuron and deems him guilty in regards to the sexual abuse allegations against him without a trial. My recollection of the truth is substantially different from what she professed,” Eusebio said.
http://www.guampdn.com/story/news/2016/11/21/pro-apuron-group-slams-carmelite-nuns-over-seminary/94207436/
Later, Dirty Dick admitted that his "recollection of the truth" was only "conjecture" and that he was not there. Dirty Dick is done.

  1. Thanks to Eusebio we have a new motivation for this Sunday’s picket: Supporting Mother Dawn Marie and the Carmelite Nuns. The message is still the same: APURON OUT! But we can also pray for Mother Dawn Marie who was maligned by Eusebio in his press conference.

    Quote from PDN article:

Eusebio said Mother Superior Dawn Marie’s claim of a toxic environment has been fueled “by her own desire to seek public attention and provide her rendition of the truth in regards to the seminary.”

“She attempts to discredit Archbishop Apuron and deems him guilty in regards to the sexual abuse allegations against him without a trial. My recollection of the truth is substantially different from what she professed,” Eusebio said.

Let's gather on Sunday to pray and march for the truth.

Thank you, thank you for everything! Hopefully, those now in leadership of the Archdiocese of Agana will do right by you. God bless you!

  8. For some sad reason Eusabio has some very sick thinking to say such sick things about Mother Dawn Marie. I can't describe how deeply I am sadden the Carmelites have left the island. But for I am glad for them that they can be in a real nurturing supportive environment where they are free the toxic on going mess that is so evident here. I am so sorry Mother Dawn is subjected to sick mentality shown by Eusabio. May God Bless them in their new place and may they live happily in peace and health.

  11. Mother Dawn, the faithful of Guam believe you! Please accept our thanks and gratitude for your honest witness. We will miss you and the rest of the Carmelites who provided the prayers and spiritual boost which our local Catholics and Church benefitted from throughout all those years you lived with us on Guam!

Eusebio, your decorous comments and imputations don't have any credibility, give it up! To your credit however, you may yet have helped launch the eventual downfall and demise of the ncw on Guam with your clowning and, may very well be among those who contributed toward or caused the toxicity of the living environment which drove the Carmelites from our island.

We might still see his ugly mug from time to time to rally his depleting troops here....but most likely he will be replaced by someone more congenial.
The timing will be closely linked to the ultimate fate of the Seminary. Until then keep your eyes and ears wide open.

In one stroke, he does a clean sweep: Deny, Deflect and finally Destroy.
The most hilarious assertion from little Dicky is that the Institute is the equivalent of Harvard, as a learning institution.
While it is funny because of how ridiculous the assertion is, it is also so, so sad.
I have already gone over this issue, but if ever there was a comparaison to be made, the infamous Institute is more in line with the GCC.(frankly it is not nice for GCC)
Again little Dicky is so delusional that he makes Zoltan (who has been very silent lately) look almost normal.

  32. Rose de los Reyes (Seattle, WA)November 22, 2016 at 11:12 PM

Contrast Mr. Eusabio’s (NCW’s) statement about Mother Dawn Marie and the Carmelites juxtaposed with the public statements last week made by Archbishop Hon (on behalf of the Archdiocese) and Dave Sablan (on behalf of the CCOG). Abp Hon expressed the Archdiocese’s sadness in seeing the nuns leave the island after 50 years, and apologized to them for having to experience a toxic environment. Abp. Hon was thankful to the Carmelite sisters, in particular, for their special dedication to pray for priests. Dave Sablan condemned Abp. Apuron’s attempt to manipulate the Carmelites into a lie to claim that their $2M donation was for a seminary for the formation of NCW presbyters and praised the Carmelites of refusing to go along with that lie. Both Abp Hon and Mr. Sablan thanked Mother Dawn Marie and the Carmelite sisters for sharing the truth and for all the good things they have done for Guam. Mr. Eusabio, on the other hand, idiotically puts the blame of the toxic environment on Mother Dawn Maria and mocks the Carmelites natural human propensity of unease and discomfort with having to serve under an archbishop (Apuron) facing multiple allegations and multiples lawsuits filed against him for child sexual abuse; And an archbishop who put them in a position where they had to consider going along with a lie! Compare and contrast. Here, in Mr. Eusabio’s press conference, you see the NCW are slammers of the Carmelites while the Archdiocese of Agana and CCOG are apologetic and grateful supporters of the Carmelites. For its ultimate outcome, it was stupid of Mr. Eusabio to call this press conference. He basically did a public self-inflicted poke-in-the-eye to himself and the NCW. But, as Tim and others have commented, this type of NCW conduct is yet another exhibit to show that the NCW leadership on Guam is out-of-control and not in touch with reality. Also, the lack of awareness and/or lack of acceptance by the NCW that Mr. Eusabio is not the best spokesperson for their community because (1) his credibility is shot due to the previous press conferences he has conducted where he came across as an unconvincing puppet and mouthpiece of the NCW higher-ups, (2) his inability to defend and/or clarify his often confusing and even contradicting public statements, and (3) to the average folk, he comes across as dazed and hypnotized, perhaps a physical manifestation of the NCW brainwash. The NCW should not be putting him in public appearances on behalf of their community. But, I understand, he is the one they put out, in part because in the NCW hierarchy, he is the top local guy. Oh, well, I guess I should rejoice --- the better for our cause to shut down the NCW whenever he is in one of these press conferences.
