Thousands of US abuse cases were quickly settled out of Court for an aggregate $3 billion. Many of the claims paid multi-millions per victim, including several in my diocese. For the most part, US abuse litigation ended years ago because victims here were represented by specialist Superlawyers, not a greedy jungle shyster and a toll-free counseling hotline in New Jersey.
