IT'S REAL SIMPLE

It's real simple. Here is why Archbishop Apuron is attempting to destroy Msgr. James:

  1. Msgr. James was one of the four members of the finance council who refused to allow the Archbishop to sign the title to the Old Accion Hotel property over to the Neocatechumenal-controlled seminary.
  2. Msgr. James was one of the four members of the finance council who wrote Archbishop Balvo (then the apostolic delegate) about Archbishop Apuron's illegal acts.
  3. As a result of the letter from the finance council, two things happened:
    1. Archbishop Apuron received a MAJOR SLAPDOWN from Archbishop Balvo.
    2. The Vatican ordered an audit on Archbishop Apuron's diocese.
  4. The finances for the diocese are a mess, as evidenced by Archbishop Balvo's letter stating that the required annual financial reports have never been sent.
  5. Balvo has no choice but to write Archbishop Apuron up for his report to Rome.
  6. Archbishop Apuron gets a poor grade and his cardinal hat becomes ever more out of reach.
  7. Archbishop Apuron retaliates against the only person he can retaliate against: Msgr. James, since of the four, only Msgr. James is a priest.

Simple.

  1. Very inclined to believe this is true.

  2. Maybe now that he is free, Msgr. James can tell the archdiocese what the Archbishop refuses to. What is the $6600.00 annually for "other clergy expenses"?! And the money goes to the midwest US.

  3. Another juicy story to come. Don't know if Edivaldo will be able to squeeze pass this one! Edivalod, Diana is from your community!!!!! HEE HEE. You are her mentor in writing. HEE HEE.

  5. This appears to be the only logical reasoning for this drama caused by the Archbishop and his gang of NEO priest and clergy. Is payback. Remember God is not sleeping and knows the Truth! We will not give to the Archbishops special programs anymore. Not until he comes clean and shows us the money trail. This is flat out disgusting. Rome would be embarrassed by this type of leadership. Then again what leadership really is there. I do not see it

    1. Father Adrian is too busy. Monsignor David is down at the Cathedral attending to every little detail. The Archbishop is busy with the Pope. Father Adrian has to do EVERYTHING. Debate with Tim and Adrian wearing Depends XXL not going to happen.

  8. I assure you, Diana is not from Edivaldo's community. First of all, she is not a Neo. Second, she isn't a she. Hint: His name is the second gospel.

As I read this I was reminded what a priest told me. I did not know James had written the letter to His Excellency Archbishop Balvo. It reminds me of another case. A priest once told me if you piss up the cathedral wall and complain to an apostolic delegate about the bishop, then be sure the piss will blow back at you. I guess it's crude, but also kind of true I guess.

  10. I know this to be true: Msgr. James expected a reprisal after he courageously stepped forward to attempt to block the Archbishop from transferring the seminary to the Neos. I spoke with him myself shortly after it occurred.

  12. Here is what I think. Usually the first three signatures on a petition are the ones who came up with the idea. Now Edivaldo is the first to sign. Next comes Ms. Dulla, and then Mss Leon Guerrero. Now I know these young ladies are very close to Edivaldo. If Diana is not Ms Dulla, thne Diana must be Ms Leon Guerrero.

    1. This Edivaldo will make trouble yet, just wait. Bad feeling. Can't help it.

    2. Ms Dulla dropped out of sight after Tagle letter episode. But she is on the petition with Edivaldo.

    3. I don't think Diana is Dulla. Dulla at least knows how to construct sentences. It's very possibly Edivaldo with help.

  13. Today the Church celebrates the feast of Saint Maximilian Kolbe, Priest and Martyr. In one of his letters (taken from today's reading in the English translation of The Liturgy of the Hours [Four Volumes] ©1974, International Commission on English in the Liturgy Corporation), he writes:

"...It is sad for us to see in our own time that indifferentism in its many forms is spreading like an epidemic not only among the laity but also among religious..."
"Through His [Christ's] representatives on earth He continually reveals His will to us; thus it is obedience and obedience alone that is the sure sign to us of the divine will. A superior may, it is true, make a mistake; but it is impossible for us to be mistaken in obeying a superior’s command. The only exception to this rule is the case of a superior commanding something that in even the slightest way would contravene God’s law [including disobeying the 8th Commandment of God, violating the precepts of Canon Law, and encouraging others to do likewise]. Such a superior would not be conveying God’s will...."
"Obedience [of God's Ten Commandments] is the one and the only way of wisdom and prudence for us to offer glory to God...."
"Let us love our loving Father with all our hearts. Let our obedience [to Holy Mother Church, to Canon Law, to God's Commandments] increase that love, above all when it requires us to surrender our own will [which may urge loyalty and allegiance to Pius/Giuseppe/Kiko's commandments instead]..."
"We will learn this lesson more quickly through the Immaculate Virgin, whom God has made the dispenser of His mercy [and to whom no honor or regard is openly given or included during regular NCW worship activities and meetings]. It is beyond all doubt that Mary’s will represents to us the will of God Himself. By dedicating ourselves to her we become in her hands instruments of God’s mercy even as she was such an instrument in God’s hands...."

Couldn't help but share this highly appropriate reading along with the thoughts that invaded my mind!!
