KEEP WALKING

This Sunday's U Matuna will have a big spread about how the "pope loves the Neocatechumenal Way." Never mind that in his opening remarks to the talk he gave them in Rome last week he made sure that the whole world knew that he did not call the meeting but that it was Kiko who called him. Never mind that he made sure that the whole world knew that he wasn't sending anybody anywhere. And never mind that he did a direct hit on Kiko with his joke about being paid to be there. Our neo-drunk leadership will use the pope as their personal puppet. That's just what they do. Meanwhile...

It has now been almost 90 days since Archbishop Apuron told the parishioners of Yona that he would "find it". "It" being the document permitting the archbishop and his neocats to depart from the liturgical books and even their own statute when they celebrate their eucharist.
"Rome has approved it", he said, "Rome has given permission for that. And it’s somewhere I need to find out where exactly, but they told us that permission is given."
Since he has obviously been looking hard for "it" for nearly three months, we thought we'd lend a hand. It would look something like this
  • First, it would begin with a couple of Latin words, in this case: MEMORIALE DOMINI.
  • It would then be followed by a subtitle indicating what the instruction is about, such as: Instruction on the Manner of Distributing Holy Communion
  • And then there would be displayed the name of the issuing sacred congregation, like this: Sacred Congregation for Divine Worship
As the archbishop well knows, matters involving the celebration of the Sacred Liturgy are of such grave importance that absolutely NO variations are permitted without an Instruction coming from the highest levels of the Vatican and specifically the Sacred Congregation for Divine Worship which is the ultimate guardian of the liturgy.

As you can see from the above referenced document, permitting communion in the hand was of such grave importance that the Sacred Congregation, speaking for the Pope, took great pains to insure against the abuses which caused the church (several centuries earlier) to forbid communion in the hand in the first place.

Thus we would all be correct to assume that permitting the communicant to consume the Sacred Host while seated, or permitting the priest to delay his communion until after the Sacred Host had been distributed, would require a document of similar gravity. Yet we are told by our own bishop "they told us that permission is given."

Sorry, Archbishop, that's not going to cut it. MEMORIALE DOMINI is an example of how the Church "tells us". The Church doesn't deal in private messages when it deals with the liturgy, it deals with public instructions and decrees. And you haven't found "it" because you KNOW there is no "it" to find.

Most disturbing though is who "they" is for you. You are a bishop. As bishop, your only superior is the pope himself. No sacred congregation can issue a formal instruction without speaking directly for the pope. So there is no "they". There is only "he". The pope. Yet you use "they".

"They" is a reference to your superiors in the Neocatechumenal Way, isn't it, Archbishop? Yes it is! Because then you say "us": "they told us."

Who is "us", Archbishop? "Us" is a reference to your fellow "walkers" isn't it, Archbishop? So when you say "they told us", you mean your Neo superiors told you and your Neo-brethren, don't you, Archbishop?

Do you know what this means, Archbishop? It means you are NOT OUR ARCHBISHOP. You are not even a bishop. You are an "us", just one of the brothers, taking orders from your catechist. That puts you outside the Church the rest of us "regular" Catholics belong to, doesn't it, Archbishop?

You see, in our Church, we have a bishop who obeys only the pope. That's the way our hierarchy works, Archbishop: pope - bishop - pastor. There's no place for a catechist or a responsible or a Pius or  a Giuseppe or a Kiko in the hierarchy of the Church we belong to. So you must belong to something different.

We wish you the best in your Walk. For decades, the Catholics of Guam have known how unhappy you were being the bishop of just us "regular" Catholics. They knew you were unhappy because they had no other explanation for how you treated them.

And you have told us yourself how happy you are in your Walk with the Neocatechumenal Way. Obviously you have found your calling, your home, your place, your real faith, your "walk".

Well, keep walking.

Dear Rome. The Archdiocese of Agana has been bishop-less for many years. You know what to do. Courage.

  1. Seriously, you mean Diana was wrong when she said its always possible that the permission to depart from the liturgical books and their statutes could possibly have been sent by email, since that's the fastest mode of communication, and then subsequently misplaced?

    1. Hahaha! Seriously? A document of such importance would have been sent registered mail, return receipt requested. Email? Seriously? Pat we are not from some foreign country, so stop being condescending. We understand American engrish perfectly well.Meanwhile, why don't you take Pius back to jersey and do some catchesis where it's needed, like Atlantic city! All you've done here is cause division, this is your true fruit, in your attempts to take the assets of this diocese. Archbishop this is all on you. They, us, really? I see what you really think of your flock. Understand that YOU are responsible for every soul of this archdiocese, even Tim! Your office is where the buck stops as far as this thing with the liturgy is concerned, there is no us! Get it together or retire!
Please stop telling half truths, because it's really just lying! Let your yes mean yes and no mean no, have "they" taught you the meaning of this? Praying for you.

  2. do they not know how to use the 'search' feature on their computers? every email reader whether computer/server based or web-based (hotmail, yahoo, gmail, mac mail, aol, etc) offers search capabilities by word, date, topic, sender...

bunch of rubbish they spew thinking nobody knows any better. come on let's quit pretending.

do these folks wear some B.S. protecting shoes in their walk? seriously - what kind of delusional, alternate world do they live in? ah...here we go: a small religious group that is not part of a larger and more accepted religion and that has beliefs regarded by many people as extreme or dangerous.

extreme because they're so out of this world and dangerous because they're so divisive, false and unreal.

    sad and unfortunate.

  3. There will be great rejoicing in the Archdiocese of Agana once we are rid of the archbetrayer.

  4. "The word of reproach is a key that unlocks a door, because reproach reveals a fault of which the evildoer is himself often unaware. That is why Paul says of the bishop: He must be able to encourage men in sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it. For the same reason God tells us through Malachi: The lips of the priest are to preserve knowledge, and men shall look to him for the law, for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts. Finally, that is also the reason why the Lord warns us through Isaiah: Cry out and be not still; raise your voice in a trumpet call. "

    - Pope St Gregory the Great, "A Rule of Pastoral Life"

  5. I have no confidence in the arch as the spiritual leader of our archdiocese. That he participates in an illicit liturgy is disturbing beyond words. He is NOT "our" spiritual leader nor is he "their" spiritual leader. He gets his orders from LAY PEOPLE. There must be something wrong with his mental capacity. How else to explain his behavior?
I hope Rome will take action and save us from a arch who is incapable of living the example of Jesus Christ.

  6. Archbishop is off-island again? I think we should go back to the days when the archbishop's travel was published in the UMatuna. I remember the days when even our beloved Archbishop Flores would announce some of his most important and relevant travel itineraries. Talk about transparency and that was back in the day. Times have changed haven't they.

    1. Archbishop off island? Where to? Rome? or to go house hunting in the states for a nice retirement place? Or selling off a couple of properties? Or trying to reverse Extension Society decisions, or meeting up with Wadeson? Just call me Tony.

    2. I asked a priest this morning at a restaurant where the archbishop is. He says he thinks he is at a meeting in Fiji.

    3. Well if he went to Fiji he must have to slink around...lost his standing there!

    4. Brothers and Sisters, don't worry! Monsignor David is in charge. I saw him putting shutters up at the CB. NOT.

    5. Fiji? Hmmm makes me wonder if it's church related or if he's out there on a vacation from the big storm that's hitting our island today and I'm not referring to Bavi.

    6. The archbishop celebrated the 9:30 a.m. Sunday mass at the cathedral today. After the mass I asked him if he'd been at a meeting in Fiji as Msgr. Bibi had told me he was. The archbishop said that yes he had been in Fiji.

    7. Msgr.Bibi can be counted on to cover for Archie. Fiji or wherever.

  7. We need the presence of yellow ribbons to symbolize the need to return the Redemptoris Mater Seminary ownership back to the Archdiocese of Agana and for the Neos to return back the original AAA before he was brainwashed. He definitely is a hostage.

  8. I hope he stays off island and never comes back. If the people of Malta can do that to Pius, let the people of Guam do this to Tony. What good is an Archbishop is he's not here, not to mention unresponsive to his flock? Bibs Katoliku!

    1. Guam's traditional Catholics have lost all respect for AAA who has betrayed us, lied to us, and made life difficult for priests and deacons who refuse to join his neo cult.
He has failed miserably as the shepherd for Guam's Catholics. I agree that he needs to leave in order for our faith community to begin the process of healing.
Tony, the back door is wide open. GO NOW!!

    2. I keep reading here that Pius has been sent away from Malta and other places. But nobody ever says what Pius did that got him kicked out. I'd be interested in knowing.

  9. I am curious to know if Neo's anywhere else or everyone else operate in the same mold as Guam.Neo's are doing with the liturgy or other practices that deviate from the Roman Catholic Church. Also do you think Neo's could be considered coming under the Spanish Catholic Church?. Since the leaders of that all seem to be Spanish and are not doing what Rome Catholic does. Just wondering how to make the correct distinctions as it is obviously not the Roman Catholic Church that the pope leads because they are not doing what he says. But some kind of Catholic church. I am just not sure how that works with Kiko being the head and a lay person and not being a priest let alone a pope. Seems so confusing. Have lay people been heads of the Catholic before? Heads of seminaries? Seems like a fish out of water to me. Makes me even wonder do we really need priests or bishops when they have lay people for their leaders and bosses. It is obvious they are not taking the lead from the pope. It looks like they are leading the pope when calling him to meetings and lecturing him and showing him pictures in front of crowds. None of it makes any sense to me. Can it really be the norm for other places too.? For the future and good of all I personally hope not..

    1. What bothers me is their claim that the NCW is a gift to the Church from the Holy Spirit and Rome seems to agree with it. Something's wrong with this. I refuse to buy into their bullshit.

    2. That's why it's good to know history. Rome has "bought into lots of bullshit" over the centuries. It is plagued by the same tendency to moral corruption and concupiscence as are we all. The only guarantee we have from the Holy Spirit is that the "gates of hell will not prevail". Quite recently Saint John Paul II personally protected and promoted a group known as the Legionnaires of Christ. They were producing vocations and "fruit" even faster than the NCW. Later it was learned that many lives had been ruined by its founder who was found to be living a double life and helping himself to the young boys.

However, in the case of the NCW, while Francis for now is going to say the requisite things, he is very aware of who Kiko Arguello is and what he is doing. How he will act remains to be seen. But do not doubt that our efforts on Guam to expose him to the world are being unnoticed by the Vatican.

  10. You are so right Tim. I love history. In fact I took a history art class several times from an Italian professor in the early 70's. It was not because I didn't pass the classes. It was simply because he made the history come alive and I was absolutely shocked what I heard and saw. I found it hard to believe what I was hearing about the wonderful Catholic church I loved and grew up in. But all the evidence was there, the families involved and all the outrageous dynamics with in the different buildings, towns and people and artifacts. I can assure you it was not like a history of art class taught at UOG. The professor even took history tours to his beloved Rome and Italy
Like the shock value that is happening here. One grows up Catholic with an idealistic view point and teaching. But like a blow by blow force the wind gets knocked out of your sails and you are left to question your values and the church and pray on a deep level.

What is happening in Guam's Catholic church is surly offering an experience in history. It is an opportunity to definitely take look at past data and experience along with history and take it to a whole new level to see how it effects us all. Thus history is being made as we speak and write.
And yes no one can doubt that Guam's Catholic church is being carefully watched or monitored not just by ROME ITSELF but by interested Catholics and non Catholics world wide with the minute by minute check in's that continuously occur.

This indeed is an important time. Who knows what possible changes could come out this experience not just locally for Guam but globally for Catholics. We are all one as we connect in this cyber world so what affects Guam can influence others outcomes. Let Peace within prevail

  11. Apparently this morning at ACB Con class a question was asked of the instructor, What do you think about the NCW? After giving the whole run-down about the Way, even mentioning that the Pope approved of the movement, the instructor further stated that "THE POPE IS NOT NEO....NOT YET" The weird thing is the instructor told the class it (neo) is not for her!! WTH?! Saving face? Lol

    1. Who the instructor Grace G. Bordallo? I know that Jonathan and his wife Grace were in charge of ACB Con class in the past....everything at ACB is neo.

I was afraid of that and did not send by son to ACB Con class..

    2. The instructor took the opportunity to gush all over her NCW cult and it was an after thought that she said it wasn't for her. Liar! Parents need to stay on top of this and talk to their children about the snares the Neos have set out to lure people into their cult. Better yet, educate them yourself.
