DEAR ARCHBISHOP

Just something to think about on your next trip or while you frolic with the Tall Woman in the Dead Sea. Over the last five years one of every 12 children have been aborted. And this year 73% were Chamorro, meaning they were probably Catholic. More fruit of your 20 years of believing that the Way was the answer. Stay tuned.

  1. Do you really think the Archbishop cares what happens to the local people or Catholics? Unless you are a NEO, then you are not his concern! He just needs to pretend that he cares so the money will continue to flow and he will continue to be recognized as the Archbishop.

Archbishop has no concern to stop abortion on Guam. He is completely selfish self centered full of greed and concerned only for money for himself. While he frolics in the ocean and spends money like water babies will be aborted. Moral Values are dead on Guam and will only be returned with a new bishop.

  3. Sad, but I would have to agree with Anon 7:38, Rome does not care and apuron does not care. We cannot expect anything to get better unless we, the people, take care of it!

Nothing is his fault, according to apuron. All the division and evil are propagated by Tim, The Jungle and CCOG.

You cannot blame apuron because he's just listening to bad advisers.

    So, who do we blame?

    Blame OURSELVES!

Why? Because we let this apuron and neos dictate the conditions in our Catholic Church, contributing to the demise of morality and holiness in our society today! Wake up, people!

Get these apuron and neos OUT!!!

  4. Obviously, Apuron cannot be shamed, he is taking orders from Kiko, who well knows that the end of Apuron also spells the end of RMS and his Kiko and his crusade. This is too much as stake for the Neo's and Apuron is key for their survival. Appeal to Rome to intervene has not borne fruits, which has been most frustrating. Can Rome not see that this division between the laity and Apuron and the Neo's is causing tremendous harm to the Church. I would like to hear from the readers of suggestions what course of action is recommended to "move the mountain" to act?

    1. people power ... a rally or march to ask Apuron to step down and ask for changes in order to unite the church ... I think that there are a group of people who are able to organize a peaceful rally ....

  5. At the risk of being booed out of this blog, I would like to take the conversation to a place that few would care to do. Actually, Tim has brought this up before. I am still not convinced that all of our priests/pastors/nuns/Catholic educators are doing everything they can to restore our faith, strengthen the parish ministries, engage the youth, and form the parents/families so we can all be soldiers of Christ to withstand and fight against the various onslaughts on our Catholic faith on Guam. This is exactly how the NCW and other faiths have grown and taken some of our brethren away. It all starts with the parents, families and parish communities. Sometimes we in the parish put so much emphasis on traditions, devotions, flowers/decor, music/choirs, feel-good treats, (what I call, "fluff and stuff", or "fringe and binge") etc., that we forget the basic tenets of our Catholic religion. I am not saying to get rid of all the above, let's just go back and understand why it is we do what we do so we can defend our faith and explain it our children, family members and others who would criticize it or want to change it. Let's not blame the archbishop entirely, although he is the primary reason why our church is so divided. We must all accept the blame and devote ourselves to bring the Catholic faith back to its vibrant way of life in our parishes. I ask the parish priests to be brave, stand up and do whatever it takes to do what is right for your parish/communities. I don't think the arch can excommunicate all of his priests and leaders, if we all stand together. Talk to your people and engage them in important conversations about our journey to heaven. Let's start or revive those bible studies, retreats, teen ministries, and catechism classes for adults. We need you to lead when the leader is so obviously "gone", and abdicated his position as shepherd.

    1. If you cannot find one in your parish, you can start one.

I can offer names of resources that we use in our parish. Send me an email if you would like this information.

But, again, by all means start your own if one is not available.

    3. Anon @ 10:40 PM See below for Agana Heights. My parish, NSDLA in Mongmong, finished a scripture study module, but we are planning to begin another soon.

However, at the moment we do host a cenacle for the Eucharistic Apostles of the Divine Mercy which includes weekly scripture readings, passages from the Catechism of the Catholic Church and passages from Sr. Faustina's dairy. It's not a scripture study, but the weekly "studies" are written in full communion with the Magisterium of the Church.

  7. Check Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, Agana Heights. I know they have done them in the past.

  8. The arch is the champion of Neo issues and all things Neo. He has no concern for Catholics on Guam who do not follow (his Neo) way. As long as he is the archbishop of Agaña, we will never know the truth about the chancery's finances. Maybe even after he is gone, we may find that he destroyed financial documents so the truth may never be known.
I used to think he might have mental issues affecting his judgment but now I think he is evil, having made a conscious decision to be controlled by Kiko and his minions.

  9. A greater good has emerged from the division brought about by AAA and the Neo's. Comments from F. Leon Guerrero, Anons 3:35 and 4:51 clearly reflects Holy Spirit working. The only good that came from Archbishop and the Neo's is that it has awaken a deeper love for our Faith, and many of us are desirous of finding a venue that can deepen our understanding of our Faith. This is why the Archbishop needs to resign so a new Archbishop should have as one of his aims, mandate the clergy to begin to offer Catechism, Bible and other venues that can deepen our Faith. To the Neo's I say that in your attempts to "break up our parishes", you inadvertently woke up and fired up the Holy Spirit which ignited a deeper commitment to our Faith. Thank you for this.
