  2. Hon on June 12, at Cathedral mass after dissing Walter Denton and the protestors outside: "This will all be over in two weeks."
As they say in Hong Kong: Hon, you so FUNNY!

Well, Hon has almost learned a good lesson in pastoral care.
First, a desire to make things right. This goal he showed a surface interest for. I say surface because he didn't really care about making "things right", instead he just wanted all the disunity to go away. He wanted the NCW cult to feel secure with its dominance over the Church on GUam so he could go back to his comfort and opulence in Rome. But the reality is, as we have recently seen, that he has known how grave our problems were from his trip to Guam in January 2015. If he REALLY wanted to make things right, he wouldn't have kicked the CCOG and thrown out the well documented briefing paper detailing the abuses and atrocities associated with Apurun, David the VG, Adrian the Joker, and Pius the Ringleader.
But I will say, that recently Hon appears to actually be trying. I believe he realizes that even his Asian optimism will not mask the deep seeded problems that have exploded into lay action recently.

Second, knowledge in how to make things right. Sadly, this lack of experience is evident. By praying for peace and unity and harmony, Hon had hoped all would be well. What Hon failed to understand is that peace and unity is not the right goal! Fixing the problems that have ripped our local Church apart should have been the goal. If accomplished, peace and unity would have been a fruit of this effort. But Hon came in thinking that "I have the power" so fixing problems was not central to his effort. The kikos needed help, and Hon's boss Filoni (rhymes with Baloney) sent his number two to save the day. Peace, Harmony, Kumbaya. He is realizing this was a total failure.
But, since he has never been a bishop in a pastoral sense, he is completely unaware of how to approach this problem. He has never had his own diocese to grapple with. He was made Archbishop in Rome to be number two in the curia he works for. Had Rome been serious about fixing our dysfunction, they would have sent a true trouble shooter, a man with loads of experience in solving real world problems. Our problems are not theoretical. They include racism, corruption, greed, heresies, cultism, and sexual predation.
There is no way a man like Hon could solve these horrific problems, but Filoni didn't care.

This will all be over in two weeks was a statement by Hon which reveals the brazen disregard that much of the Vatican has for day to day Catholics trying to grow closer to God. Rome is filled with bureaucrats like Filoni, and their stooges like Hon. They are more concerned with their all expense paid trips to kiko's Domus Galileae, than the flock that is being attacked by wolves.

But the brave sheep, the laity on Guam, is showing that we can make a difference."This will all be over in two weeks" was our rallying point. We would no longer be held at bay by tyrannical leaders looking out for themselves. The fifty protestors on Sunday are the tip of the iceberg of lay empowerment!

As soon as Hon realizes this realty he must choose one of two options.
    1. Tuck his tail between his legs and run back to the comfort of Roman opulence. OR
    2. Embrace his role as shepherd. If he chooses this role, he must start to listen to the sheep. He must start to mingle with them, and employ them as a part of a going forward movement.

Time will tell, but thanks for the "Two weeks and this will all be over" comment which cemented our perseverence!

  4. Pope Francis said he wants bishops who smell like their sheep. Hon needs to get down and dirty with the laity. He needs to descend the ivory tower and see how the average Catholics look at today's Church on Guam. Maybe then he will be able to create a plan to fix our problems and re-unify our Church!

  5. Yep!...'Two weeks' no more picketing!...'NO DOUBT' that RMS is still owned by the Archdiocese of Agana...Have the victims of abuse "contact me...". Not sure if I should conclude as TOTALLY IGNORANT or just CLUELESS! You think?

  6. And now to share some good news. The statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe is making her way back to her niche in the Santa Rita village church after many years of questions from parishioners as to her whereabouts. A re-dedication of the refurbished statue will be celebrated with mass on Monday, Aug 22 at the church. Thanks to the laity for putting the pressure on to bring her back where she belongs.

    2. Does Santa Rita still have a NCW presbyter? How did this miracle happen?

    3. Yes, Santa Rita still has a NCW presbyter, Kryztof Szafarski.

    4. I heard the repairs cost a lot of money, and that funds raised for such repairs are missing. True? Regardless, I'm happy that some of our local Catholic traditions are returning. I'll attend mass if presided over by a true priest and not a Neo Presbyter. Congratulations to the people of Santa Rita. Biba Santa Guadalupe!

    5. Curious to see how the restored statue looks like. The Santa Rosa statue in Agat also was restored and it looks to me like Kiko's influence can be seen on the statue, giving it a different look. Makes me wonder if it was a restoration or replacement. Damn those Neos!

    6. I actually saw that statue as it was being restored by a well-known local artist of Guam. It was located in a not-so-secret location and was there for all to see. I recognized it immediately and inquired about it and the artist confirmed that it was indeed the original Santa Guadalupe statue, whose devotion originated with the Sumay parish. I wasn't aware that he was commissioned to restore it, but he seemed very sincere in his desire to maintain its original appearance, recognizing its importance to its devotees and its historical significance, including its mythical "disappearance".

    7. How were the parishioners able to persuade NCW presbyter Kryztof to let the statue to be returned to the Santa Rita Church?

  8. Regarding the statue. Who took it? Why? Why was it hidden away for two years? Why the hassle to get it back? Don't get rolled Santa Rita. And where's the quarter of a million Fabio took?

    1. Has this been reported to Abp. Hon? He might not be able to recover the funds raised by the parish but he needs to know what happened.

    2. Would he even care. Wounds are festering, Rome send someone who would care and take "urgent measure." Spn2

  9. Very much doubt unity will be possible on Guam. The wounds too deep for healing to ever take place. Certain people need to be removed for any healing to begin.
