WARNING

Msgr. David C. Quitugua has been appointed to the position of Rector of the Agana Cathedral. As per Canon 558*, as "rector" he is prohibited from performing the following functions:

1/ the administration of baptism;

2/ the administration of the sacrament of confirmation to those who are in danger of death, according to the norm of ⇒ can. 883, n. 3;

3/ the administration of Viaticum and of the anointing of the sick, without prejudice to the prescript of ⇒ can. 1003, §§2 and 3, and the imparting of the apostolic blessing;

4/ the assistance at marriages and the nuptial blessing;

5/ the performance of funeral rites;

6/ the blessing of the baptismal font at Easter time, the leading of processions outside the church, and solemn blessings outside the church.

*Can. 558 Without prejudice to the prescript of ⇒ can. 262, a rector is not permitted to perform the parochial functions mentioned in ⇒ can. 530, nn. 1-6 in the church entrusted to him unless the pastor consents or, if the matter warrants it, delegates.

And since there is no pastor of the Agana parish, there is no one to get consent from. So take your babies, marriages, sick, and funerals elsewhere. Oh, and no December 8 procession.

WHAT A MESS.

  1. No December 8 procession ?!
    Well that is dissapointing . Since the Cathedral acts as the principle church and a parish can they appoint a seperate pastor

  5. The Archbishop keeps digging himself deeper and deeper into a hold ... he needs to FIRE his advisors (Msgr. David and Fr. Adrian) ... because of them, the flock has lost confidence in our Archbishop. Soon he will have no sheep to shepherd!

      WE HAVE NO ARCHBISHOP. Benedict Arnold Apuron has committed treason and switched over to the kiko side. He no longer shepherds his people. Even the kikos hate him, but they love the pizza and ice cream parties so they pretend to like him.
      I don't like to kiko kiss, but at this point in time I will allow the traitor Tony to double kiss my cheeks. Wait Tony, I need to turn around first!

    2. Archdiocese has no spiritual leader at this time. For this reason the laity are now leading. Call to action.

      By saying that; you detached yourself from the Catholic Church.

    4. To Anon at 8.02pm>>>>>>>>What a blanket statement!!!
      Specially when it is the Archbishop that has detached himself from the Catholic Church by joining a Sect and refusing to obey two Popes.
      Basically his actions have led Faithful Catholics to follow the Pope and Rome, rather than the Archbishop.

    5. Pope Francis is our spiritual leader until a new archbishop is appointed.

    6. 8:02PM If it takes the laity to try to mend the bridges then so be it. The Archbishop does not want to come out openly...what kind of a spiritual leader is he. He is dormant! We need to take matters in out hands and do what needs to be done to mend the healing.

  6. Okay. Monsignor David is not only the Vicar General, Judicial Vicar, Moderator of the Curia, administrator of St. Joseph's Church, a professor at the seminary, something with the Institute, but now Rector. He is either Superman(and we know how sickly he is!), or Apuron is loading him up because he does not trust anyone else. Wow!

  7. How could Monsignor David, as the Vicar General, in good conscience, advise Archbishop Apuron on the legality and legitimacy of the firing of Monsignor James when he, Monsignor David, was the intended beneficiary of said firing? Incestuous!

  8. Sorry AAA, you REALLY SUCK at being a Archbishop. As my experience has taught me, you should have another career path in mind unless you've accumulated enough money to not have to worry, NOT DOUBT YOU HAVE!...Even the Pope's and Bishops in the past were condemned to hell. What makes you any different if you are not able to properly shepherd your flock? It is true how History Repeats Itself. Soon enough, you will be 6 feet under and we will dig up your grave and the new Pope will sentence you in your coffin. Praying you stop straying from the TRUE light and get with ROME's PROGRAM, not KIKOs!...How does it feel to have Luxury in Misery? I am sure you are working to cope with it as you drive your expensive vehicle and have those Pizza Parties...You remind me of the seed that fell on rock. How sad you are. Still, as our faith dictates, we will pray for you and that you make it at the least, to Purgatory. Bless you AAA and your Apostolic goons! True sadness right before our eyes.

    2. From July 29th 7:48pm to July 29 7:59pm: Why not call a spade a spade? This is a forum for delivering your views, not name calling. Has the NEO-CATS stoop this low to name calling? Oh, I remember now, it has been documented in this blog and other areas of which you have no clue of. I only pray for PEACE, not DISUNITY. Name calling is part of something called "bullying and intimidation". My reaction to your name calling is PRAYER. Bless you!...

    3. Thank you Anonymous July 29, 2014 at 7:59 PM. You've given me all the proof I need to validate how insecure the NEO-CATS are. Your comment is obviously a "knee-jerk" reaction, not one of faith. Not sure if I should thank you or ask the AAA to spank you. btw...how does your knee feel now? Still sore? Don't be. There is more to come to light, BET ON IT!...

    4. To anon at 7.59pm, the fact that do not want to face the truth about our failed leader, is you own business.
      But if somebody is fruity here, it is certainly you. If you want to see hypocrisy, look at yourself in the mirror.
      Pizza!!
