  1. Deacon Gus is doing his testimony during the homily at the 9:30 am mass at the Cathedral. It is on channel 8. During the homily....Monsignor David already did the homily.

    1. I hope he was honest about why he joined!!!!!!!

  2. Yep Deacon Hus was honest about why he joined the NCW. What strikes me in his testimony is "God changed me, because I cannot change myself." What kind of a statement is that? God cannot change you, you need to want to change! Anyone who has a strong belief in God can turn their lives around.

Deacon hold out the invitation to joy card....this brought joy into my life and he isn't even smiling. Are you really joyful?

    1. I am sorry because I don't think Gus was honest as to why he's in the NEO! He was involved in very tragic car accident many years ago while still teaching at JFK. His wife is the personal secretary for Msgr. David (Giant) Quitugua. Of course all the NEOs came to his bed side to pray for him, so there he woke up and he feel change in himself when the NEO starting singing to him. I was watching him on TV this morning as he was giving his testimony, I was sick to my stomach with his makeup testimony!

    2. That is why he's using the Cane from the tragic accident. Its not from his almost getting a divorce or at the baseball field. Don't makeup the story, the JKF people know the real story!

  3. At Cathedral this morning 7:30 mass Fr. Tom was joined by Vicar Quitugua and front row seats for neo cats. Before final blessing they gave testimonies. Several people exited... Why do they (NCW) insist on doing this? Don't they get that the way is not for those of us who are content with our faith. Kinda ruined my otherwise great Sunday morning. They must need new members badly!!

    1. Why didn't the Vicar give his testimony? He sure looked drained at the 9:30 mass. There is no life in his facial expression. At the beginning of the mass he twiddled his thumbs....nerves must be out of whack.....

    2. Isn't it amazing that all those NEOs who gives their testimony are all scripted and the same, it reminds me of Direct Instruction (DI). It is all about their marriage almost being broken or at the stage of getting divorced! Its nothing new ever since I happen to be at mass both at Our Lady of Lourdes and Santa Bernadita. Is Mariless Benavente going to give her testimony that being in the NEO it didn't save her marriage? I will surely attend mass at CB if she's scheduled to talk.

  4. You know that something's going to happen whenever you see neos inside the church on Sunday.

  5. They were in Tamuning today at 11am. Why are they allowed to waste our time listening to they same old broken record were weak and now walk the way! They sound like robots reading a script! ? Wait a minute that is why The Archbishop sounds like that too? Right? Wow we need a new leader now!

  6. Hmmm....where in the NEW Testament does Jesus call us to joy? His mission was to save our souls. He never promised it would be a joyful journey. In fact he assures us of a challenging road when he proclaimed it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. Enough with the feel-good rhetoric already!

    1. The purpose of the Catholic Church is not to provide happiness to the faithful, it is to offer a relationship with God. Once again, the Neos are "inviting" people to join their church and not the real one.

  7. Why was BB at the 9:30 AM mass today at the Cathedral? Isn't he the pastor of Tamuning and a NCW member? How come he is not accompanying these people who give testimonies to every mass in Tamuning?

    1. I think Monsignor Brigido Arroyo is the spiritual director for the Catholic Daughters who were at the 9:30 a.m. cathedral mass celebrating their organization's anniversary.

  8. I unfortunately didn't realize the Neos would be "inviting" our parish to joy during Mass and was appalled to hear their invitation. The person said we can find Jesus every Monday and Thursday at the balcony, as if Jesus, who is present in bread right behind him wasn't there. It's truly upsetting for someone to tell a Catholic attending a Mass where Jesus Christ is truly present that we can find him at their catechises.

I've been to one of their sessions and let me tell you, I didn't find Jesus. All I found were people speaking from a script whose faces were tired, not filled with joy, nervous and nothing like Jesus at all.

So for those who do decide to attend the "invitation to joy" please ask questions, ask what you are doing there, ask them as many things as you can. They probably won't let you speak because that's their strategy. To make you "listen" and to never question.

But if they do not answer then know that what is hidden and in the dark is usually evil as it's said in the scripture. And please tell this to the cathecists you meet because they love to quote the scripture and I hope this will help them see the error in their ways.

    1. According to Annonymous in Di's blog, on,y the catch it's have the right to see the 13 volumes. Why? Because what JOY would it be if one knew what the book held! What JOY would it be if you knew what went on during their retreats? One would not enter with an opened mind!

The catechism classes and Saturday celebrations are no SECRETS....only the VOLUMES....

    2. Hey, are you Ric Eusebio??

    3. Anon 8:18 PM, I doubt it. Eusebio is in the 1st Barrigada Community. High up there on the totem pole!

    4. No not Rick E. I said according to Di's blog anon said ONLY catechist are allowed to know what is written in the 13 volumes. Meaning If we know what is written then there is no JOY in the suspense. The only thing not a secret is their classes and their Saturday celebration. Me a NEO? NEVER!

  9. They invite you in church to take you away from attending that church. Is there something wrong with this picture. Why don't they be honest enough to tell you that upfront? If you accept our invitation to joy say goodbye to this church because you won't attend mass here till the next time we invite people to joy.

  10. Am a visiting Strong Catholic and all this NEO Way is disturbing to me. WHY oh WHY do they come into our church and practice their NEO Ways!!! I see AAA and am sorry to say that I have no respect for him anymore. My feelings as I go into certain churches just doesn't make me feel welcome anymore. I go where I feel welcome. Am just sorry to see the people of Guam divided on our religious issues. AAA should be replaced ASAP. I don't think Ive attended a NEO mass since I've been here. Can somebody PLEASE tell me or point out the NEO churches and masses, times. I don't want to be there when its presided.
