  1. Mr. John Quiugua is probably the Archbishop's closest friend. He served at Cathedral as an altar server and is formerly from Anigua. John's son is the Archbishop's godson as well.

John is probably here to support the Archbishop and more than likely to be his eyes and ears.

    1. John was also the Sacristan of the Cathedral Basilica before, during and after AAA became a bishop, and elevated to Archbishop... A lot of weight he brings Aa the accusations of one of the altar servers may or may not have happened during his watch.

Former Sacristan liiving in San Jose, CA. My continued prayers for reconciliation and unification of my beloved Catholic Church in Guam.....

How sad that AAA feels the need to bring in a driver from off-island, that he had no confidence in having people from the Archdiocese, clergy or laity, take care of this task. If Anonymous (January 5, 2015 at 10:20 AM) is correct in stating that John Quitugua will be AAA's eyes and ears, I hope he will not be sitting in the meetings with the Visitors to report the contents to said meetings to AAA.

BTW: Did the Archdiocese pay for John Quitugua's travel expenses as well?

  6. The other driver is Joe Terlaje, who is the leader of the 2nd community of Agana. AAA walks in that community so he is obedient to Joe Terlaje but ultimately tot he catechist Fr. Pius.

    1. Is Joe Terlaje on annual leave from Guam Fire Dept when he goes around doing his NEO duties? He has been doing his NEO duties on paid Government time, I have witnessed this after they over the Catholic Cemeteries and Cathedral Basilica and he was wearing the official Guam Fire Department uniform. Wake up Fire Chief San Nicolas, your staff Joe Terlaje is out in the field inspecting the NEO facilities instead of Government of Guam facilities!

    2. I'm highly critical of the NCW and I wholeheartedly believe their organization to be cultish, damaging, and aggressively self-serving.

That said, I also happen to know Joe personally. Both in his capacity as a firefighter and as a plain civilian, he has done many great things for Guam. Many in the NCW are wonderful people and do more for the public good than we'll ever know.

That's why I reserve my criticism of the NCW for its leaders - the ones who have abused their positions within the mother church to lead people away from it: AAA, Pius, Quitugua, Cristobal, and their sort.

Furthermore, I'm even more careful with my criticisms when I have absolutely no proof and may end up falsely accusing someone and damaging their reputations or possibly worse.

    3. I don't know Joe either and I don't know if he does what he's being accused of here, but I do know that he is the Responsible of his community and that makes him part of the leadership. In fact, as the Responsible of Apuron's community, that makes him Apuron's direct superior.

    4. To Jan 6 @ 8:02: but what about how they have made false accusations on our local priests, without proof?

    5. re: Tim

That's about all that can be said.

An Anon poster assuming he is stealing government time and then repeating it several times on this blog without any proof is irresponsible.

    6. Tim, NCW members are asked to be obedient to their catechists, not to the responsibles. The responsibles (from the Italian work for manager) coordinate, plan, liquidate "spoils" from the Scrutinies, etc... The catechists give the orders.

    7. Managers are in charge. That makes him a member of the leadership. End of story.

    8. Yep, he is assuming that he is stealing government time because apparently he is in uniform. He has a right to assume anything he wants. Feel free to prove him wrong.

    9. Tim,

You pride yourself on producing evidence against the NCW and I sincerely appreciate that you have done that. However, you also let anyone post baseless accusations that could potentially harm a private individual. The burden shouldn't be to prove innocence and your policy shouldn't be that any NCW member is open for any and all attacks - whether warranted or not.

Of course he is free to assume anything he wants. Apparently he is in uniform? Could've been on lunch. Could've had the day off and maybe had a meeting or function that day. Are firefighters ever truly off? Not really. I've been at an event and saw off-duty firefighter jumped fully-clothed into the water to rescue a distressed swimmer.

You're saying that as long as it's against the NCW, it's okay to accuse any NCW member of any and all ill deed, whether warranted or not.

      How fair is that?

      How Christian is that?

    10. Hmmm, you sound awfully familiar.... But you're wrong. I do not PRIDE myself on anything I do here and I wish I didn't have to do it. I would no more pride myself in doing what I do here than I would pride myself on stopping a bully from beating up my own mother. So that little observation of yours gives you away.

But as for Mr. Terlaje, unfortunately, Mr. Terlaje, by virtue of his position in the Archbishop's community and his very visible involvement in the hostile take over of the Cathedral and the cemeteries and the public trashing of Msgr. James, is no longer a private person. He is a public person and one of those who is at the very center of the division in this church.

I sure hope it does. Treating people fairly isn't something to shy away from.

I applaud you for posting so many supporting documents and not unsubstantiated accusations.

Without all that supporting evidence, Junglewatch would not be what it is and would not have have accomplished all that it has.
