It's never too late to speak up about being sexually abused. Let's hope that anyone who may have knowledge or may have been harmed by Fr. Luis Camacho, will find the courage to come forward and contact law enforcement, no matter how long ago it happened. Silence only hurts, and by speaking up there is a chance for healing, exposing the truth, and therefore protecting others. Judy Jones, SNAP Midwest Associate Director, USA, 636-433-2511. firstname.lastname@example.org, SNAP (Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests)My note: I will maintain that Fr. Luis was also harmed, harmed by a process that has only influence-buying numbers as its goal. Fr. Luis, you can repair your life. Archbishop Apuron will not tell us the truth, but you can. He will be gone in a few years one way or another. You have the rest of your life. You may or may not choose to remain in the priesthood. But either way, as Judy Jones says: "Silence only hurts, and by speaking up there is a chance for healing..." Please consider.
