I CAN'T HELP FALLING IN LOVE WITH YOU

5/27 Special request update: Stop Tony from singing. Done. Enjoy real sacred song instead. Peace.

And now, by special request, when you log into JungleWatch, you lucky people will all be immediately serenaded by that famous recording artist Anthony S. Apuron (if your speakers are on).

Back when I was helping with KOLG, Tony the Tenor used to require that a selection from his big hit CD's play several times a day. Well, now all he has to do is tune into JungleWatch and he can hear himself over and over.

In case you don't know who this wonderful artist is, there's a picture of him at the top of this blog surrounded by his fans.

Enjoy while you can. The tuneful Tony will soon be singing a different tune.

Courage! :)

    1. There's a reason. And you'll soon know what it is. It is important that we suffer the sound of his voice so we can identify with what is to come....!!!! Plus, you can offer it up for the poor souls in purgatory. Thinking about checking with Francis to see if he can attach an indulgence to sitting through the whole thing. Each listening should be worth at least 1000 years, don't you think? Courage :)

I love the rat pack. Of course, Frank Sinatra, and also Dean Martin,Sammy Davis Jr,and Peter Lawford.
Joey Bishop was there at some point but the four above are my favs.

  10. Tony’s new prison CD would sell
If he sang AC/DC as well--
    To name just a few:
“I Put the Finger on You,”
“The Jack,” and “Highway to Hell.”

Tony claims to be the best lover,
"See how many boys I lured under cover".
While he thinks he can croon,
    He will find very soon,
In prison you best not bend over.

Although he pretends to be clean,

      where he'll pluck evil's flower
      (sex, money, power)--

of assistance from Rome and the Pope

Tony attacks all his honest accusers,
but protects friends who are sex abusers.
    He will soon fully learn,
    All those bridges he burned,
Has made him the biggest of losers.

His singing is sorry, for sure, for sure.
How much suffering must we incur, good sir?
Please shut off that terrible noise,
and get rid of his boy seminarian toys.
We now know he prefers "a him" to "a her".

On my hands I have far too much time.
But I can't stop remembering his crime.
All the boys that he ravaged,
And the Church he so damaged.
We must stop giving, not even a dime!

  16. During the Santo Nino fiesta, Apuron sang Presley's Can't Help Falling In Love to promote his CDs and shared with the audience the significance of that song, saying that it was the song that almost got him kicked out of the seminary because he was caught singing it. His excuse was that he didn't know he wasn't allowed to sing love serenades in a seminary. IN A SEMINARY!!! And to pay tribute to such a song as a bishop?? It's almost admitting to the people that you were never meant to be a priest in the first place.

His song shows a lust for the flesh.
    His hunger brought many duress.
He lived his life in the sewer.
    His supporters - far fewer.
But our Church will soon breathe and refresh.

A pedophile is the lowest creation,
    only wanting pleasurable sensation.
    He disregards innocent life,
    which created much strife.
And now he's a creep without a nation.

  24. A tip of the hat to my poetic friends.
    I admire your talent abounding.
We speak out in prose and in verse to the end
And unite in one voice resounding.

May our prayers be heard and our island be rid
Of the scourge that has plagued us for years.
May the wounds of our church heal as we bid
Farewell to those who caused tears.

There will come a day, oh we hope and we pray
That we'll put all the pieces together
Of lives that were shattered, the flock that was scattered
    And faith almost squandered away.

I can well believe he ordered his singing to be sung over the airwaves of Guam several times each day.
I used to find it strange he was so obsessed with his singing and wanting to produce a CD. He used to sing to me as a seminarian. It's all very sad when i look back.

  30. I remember him serenading before the final blessing at mass during special occasions. He would sing the English version and then the Chamorro version. Now he loves to sing with the seminarians at parties. Then again, these foreign seminarians and presbyters know how to sipsip.

    3. Thanks, but in all honesty, I've spent the last many hours mulling over this, and talking with my priest about it (who is certainly of the more traditional mind), and I'm pretty sure I'm not contributing anything to the discussion but snarkiness disguised as indignation (I speak for myself here only--I would love it if I could be more sharp-tongued while being pure of heart). So, dear readers, I offer a sincere apology for doing nothing to edify. Indeed, I would be far more Christian by praying and fasting for these poor men who by all appearances make themselves enemies of the Catholic faith. In my estimation, my own words make me little better than this "Joker's Wild" ding-dong. Ergo, enough from me. Future contributions from me will hopefully be in true charity.

Tim, the cause is just. Keep the faith.

  32. May-be /Diana blog seems dead in the water. Even though May has other fish to fry, she allows one more account of NEO life of wife beaters and suicidal household members to be inspired by:

    AnonymousMay 26, 2016 at 9:05 AM
I came from a family that was violent. I watched my dad beat my mother. There were times where my mother was trying to commit suicide, in front of us, crying because she felt like her life was doomed being with a violent and abusive man.

To make a long story short, my parents are now married in Church. I am not afraid to talk to my stepfather anymore. In fact, I can now joke around with him. He now never puts his hand on my mother. WE NOW, PRAY AS A FAMILY.

All of this was started to happen when we discovered a gift from the Church. That gift is the Neocatechumenal Way. It isn't a group we just found comfort in because it was different from our daily routine. It is the gift that allowed my family to be what it is today: a family grateful for the love of Christ.

    2. That's all that they are "Happy Ending Stories" to justify the existence of this NCW cult, With all that we've seen, the manipulation of Pius, the arrogance of the likes of Uduvaldo, Harold, the lies and deception of David, Adrian, Apuron, Claros the denial and coverup of sexual abuse, the heretical teaching, and denial of the Divinity of Jesus and eventual denial of the Holy Trinity, essential and fundamental teaching of our faith. It is a wonder how they continue to buy into these lies. Valurnable souls who rely on supposed men of God, who have been brainwashed not to think on their own, search for the truth on their own and who place their eternal life on the NCW rather than Christ and His Church. This is the deception that our Lord talked about that will manifest itself in these times, that even the elect, those within the heirchy of his Church will fall prey to. Persevere in the truth, as we must suffer much to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, Christ says.

    3. 11.08 AM, I am not in favour of supporting the edifice of your elders. We have to ask ourselves whether it is a bad thing of God to send fools to rescue a child from a violent home, or a Samaritan (whom you mustn't be touched by) to rescue the robbed and beaten. We mustn't forget to constructively critique the wider Church (outside the NCW) in other countries. We need a hierarchy of truths in objecting to abuses, some of which flow from deeper ones (lack of the Holy Spirit). That young person ought to make thanks to God more central, more than to the Way - apart from that, the rescue is a fact.
