And so it begins...pray for Guam and pray for the Holy, Roman, Catholic, Apostolic, and Universal Church! Let us fight the devil together! I pray for unity!
To all Catholics of Guam: This is the time to take a stand and defend our faith. Silence in the face of evil is in itself evil. Are you willing to let our church crumble into dust? Are you willing to let centuries of tradition, of blood, sweat and tears be cast aside and trampled as meaningless and worthless refuse? Think of your parents and grand parents whose faith sustained them through the horrors of war. Do you want to throw that all away?
To my brothers who share the Father Duenas tradition: Fortes in Fide (Strong in the Faith) If there was ever a time when our voice is needed it is NOW. Guam needs us. Our church needs us. Our families need us. Stand up. Speak out. Be Not Afraid.
Almighty Father, we ask your blessing as we enter a difficult time of trial and testing. Grant us the courage to preserve the Church You established on earth. Grant us the courage to stand up in the face of hatred. Grant us the grace to proclaim your word and minister to those in need. Grant us the compassion to forgive those who trespass agains us. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, in the unity of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
