MASS OF HEALING AND BURIAL FOR JOSEPH (SONNY) QUINATA

Doris Concepcion's account of her son's dying last words was horrific. Even more horrific was Apuron immediately going public and calling her a liar.

Now Mrs. Concepcion is asking you to join her in a Mass of Healing and finally laying her son's cremated remains to rest.

Mass of Healing and for her son Joseph Quintata
Friday, June 10, 12:00 Noon
The Boys Chapel at Father Duenas Memorial School

The burial will be on Tuesday, June 14 at 10:00am at the Veterans Cemetery.

  2. A united front during these services would nullify ArchNEO Cult Presbyter Anthony Sablan Apuron's threat "if you tell, no one will beleive you. This is our chance to unite and show brother Tony and his NEO Cult handlers that we heard his cry and believe.

  4. May the soul of the faithful, Joseph Quinata, be now in peace because the awful experience and anguish he kept to himself is out and no longer a secret he needs to endure by himself. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed thru the Mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

  5. There is an army of support behind Mrs. Concepcion, Roy and Walter. It is important that they know that, particularly in light of Tony, the predator, bashing them and calling them liars. In doing so, he has perpetrated a harm that many in the justice system have fought so hard to fix -- we WANT children to speak up, we want children to tell someone when they are harmed physically/sexually by another; we don't want them to fear that they will be called liars and ridiculed. When Tony himself, the accused, came out and labeled himself as a victim, was one thing. But to have others (his neo supporters) similarly do the same? That is absolutely what we DO NOT want to teach our children! By doing so, we discourage them from reporting these evil crimes, we minimize the damage done to them and to all other victims, we diminish the gravity of the offenses. I wish all of them would stop and ask themselves how they would respond if it were their kid, who came home one day and said she got raped. Would they rely on the presumption of innocence and call their kid a liar? If Tony is truly the victim of a staged plot (which I don't believe for a moment), the damage that could result from his victimization (even if true) nowhere compares to the damage that these kids have had to endure for decades if the allegations are true. Even time does not heal those types of wounds. I wish Tony's supporters would exercise kindness when it comes to these victims. The harm that they continue to do is not the work of God for sure. Take your eyes off of yourself. To Roy, Walter, Mrs. Concepcion -- the Holy Spirit has worked through you and I only wish that I had 1/100th of the courage you all have. God bless.

It's 2016. The faithful should never have to fear this type of crime to be repeated within our Church. If it does, the Church needs to provide a one stop location for future victim to go to, and where victim's a treated with total love and care. NO BS!

  7. The mass of healing and burial for Joseph Quinata was well attended by family, friends, and supporters. The Boys' Chapel seemed a fitting venue for this solemn occasion. Joseph's mother, Doris, Mr. Denton, and their families were there.Thank you, Father Jeff, Father Mike and Deacon Steve for leading us in prayer. The media, members of CCOG and LFM were in also in quiet attendance but all were there, not for any cause, but to give our prayers and support for the victims and their families. My hope is that they will find some bit of comfort and peace as we surround them with our prayers, hugs, Inafa'mauleg and support. God's blessings on us all.

  8. It was a beautiful and moving Mass of Healing for Joseph "Sonny" Quinata, Doris Concepcion and her husband, Walter Denton and his wife, Roy Quintanilla and all other sexual abuse victims. That's all of us Catholics since we are all victims of Apuron's heinous crime. Archbishop Hon encourages us to not delve too much on Apuron's guilt or innocence but to focus instead on healing. Nice words but I need to see some action. Apuron's been removed but I still want the Yona property back in the Church's patrimony and our illegally terminated priests back at their parishes. We must learn from our mistake in completely trusting Clergy or else the same type of abuse will repeat itself. Darn it, I should have studied Martin Luther better in school.

  9. I wish that I could have attended the service, but I am off island. My prayers are with these families. Each time I log onto junglewatch- I say a little prayer for each when I see the young Roy, Joseph and Walter's pictures. Eternal rest grant unto Joseph and continued healing for all others.
