The lawsuit filed against Archbishop Anthony Apuron and the Archdiocese of Agana was amended Tuesday, July 19, and now references a number of additional statements made by the archdiocese which the plaintiffs see as strengthening their case of slander and libel. The former altar boys who accused Archbishop Anthony Apuron of sexually assaulting them have revised their $2 million libel and slander lawsuit, citing more examples in which the local church allegedly defamed them after they made their allegations public.  Read more.

  1. Of course this amendment makes perfectly good sense. It was Presbyter Edi Oliveira who proclaimed himself the self-appointed spokesperson at the time. He should be made accountable for what he said. Tenorio, the emotional deacon on tv should also be made to recant his edivaldo-coached lies.

  3. On Feb 11, 2016, Time reported that bishops were told by Vatican that they do not have to report abuses to police. Other credible news organizations reported same.

  4. I agree that the "amendment makes perfectly good sense"! Before you start condemning the victims, learn the FACTS! Tenorio and Oliveira should have researched the accusations and then come out with their comments or do not come out with anything at all! Let Apuron defend himself! But no, they came out with guns blasting! Well, let the bullets fall where they should! They both deserve and are guilty of what they are being accused of! My God is So Good!
