In the early 70s the pro-choice mantra was "safe, legal and rare." Modern medicine has made abortions relatively safe. Courts have made abortions legal. What happened to the "rare" part of the mantra? It has become tragically common.

Thank you for sharing the news article. Unplanned pregnancies can be very upsetting regardless of how a child was conceived. There are good resources for women and girls who are or think they are pregnant. We can all do our part by helping those we care about through the process of making the best decisions for themselves because that’s what they need – people to care about them not judge them. They know innately that abortion is killing so creating more fear doesn’t work. Even in the worse circumstances, seeing a baby’s face for the first time changes hearts. For those who made the decision to terminate their pregnancies, the best thing they can do to heal is to help other women avoid the same tragedy.
