A CHANCE TO TELL THE TRUTH?

So WHAT was in that first printing of the U MATUNA that was okay Friday, August 8, at 4:08 PM but not okay at 4:10 PM?

I have three copies. But I'm going to give the chancery the first opportunity to come clean. Meanwhile, I'm going to give the rest of you a hint.

Didn't you think it weird that the Archbishop would post the January 8 letter from D & T and his allegations against Msgr. James, AGAIN, even after this was already printed in last week's paper and even after the allegations were thoroughly refuted by Mr. Art Ilagan, Mr. Joseph Rivera, and Mr. Rick Duenas, C.P.A.?

Well, if you thought it was weird you are right. Those letters were supposed to function as an ATTACHMENT to the statement that was removed with the second printing. However, in their haste they apparently forgot to get rid of the attachment.

But like I said. I'm going to give the Archbishop a chance to tell the people the truth himself. And while he's at it, perhaps he can tell Diana to keep his hands off other people's children.

  1. Tim, many people got the copy and did do the comparison. There was a mistake in the 1st edition. So it was corrected. What is the big fuss about it? You are getting lost in the small details and failing to see the Big Picture. The Big Picture is much more powerful than you think.

It is about a trend in the church history to rebuild the church from bottom up, through small communities. You fight this trend. But how can you fight a trend in church history? It is hopeless. Statistics show that an estimated 10-20% of Catholics around the world may join the Neocatechumenal Way. This is no different on Guam either, hello, we are here! So you should make a peaceful plan of long term acceptance and not war against the reality. Cheers!

    1. So below the fold on the front page, does your copy have an article with the title beginning: Archdiocese statement... ?

As for the rebuilding the church, yes we know that. In fact you deserve your own post.

    2. Oh, by the way, Zoltan, pardon me for not saying hello.

    3. You addressed this post to Tim, but as a part of the 80% I will not succumb to any trend nor will I let anyone change me on how I practice my Faith. To the 20%, I strongly urge you to start your own church instead of trying to change the Mother Church.

    4. It's a trend. Exactly, they come and go!

    5. The point is 6:33am is that there was a communication and letter by Dominic Kim acknowledging how happy he was (Dom) that things were getting rectified. For the AAA to say that there wars resistance or should we say they word "vehemently refuse" contradicts the whole BULLSHIT coming out of the Chancery. Amen! Praise God that the slip ups are now in the hands of the Chancery. Peace for all if the Truth is said!

  6. Why is JEFF SKVARIL saying in the PDN that the Yona seminary was bought and paid for by a Guam resident? Didn't this subject get cleared up a week ago? Guess that source of numberless, baseless rumors lives on.

  7. Truth? Didn't know that you were on the Cathedral payroll Tim! What was your job there?

    1. I managed the gift shop until Jan 23, 2014. I guess you must be one of the new administration at the Cathedral. What is YOUR job there? P.S. I would so love for one of you newbies to use my personal information in a way that would make it easy to sue you. So go ahead.

    2. AHA! Conflict of interest indeed. What a Christian planning to sue?

    3. Publishing your comment, Ivan. So sad that you have to hide behind a pseudonym.

    4. Again I have no idea who is Ivan. I'm in NYC visiting my mom. Again, great job Timmy.

    5. Yeah, diane is accusing you of conflict of interest in her blog, Tim. Did you know she's a law expert? She said she used to watch Law and Order! Ha ha!

    6. Right, Ivan. So sad. It's 12:37 AM in the morning in NYC. Nothing better to do?

    7. Not sure what's the big deal about Tim being on the payroll previously. He's posted about that before so there has been no misrepresentation and everybody has seen him working at the shop so it's neither a secret nor a conflict. Pius on the other hand, who is he on two payrolls that 80% of us have never even seen.

    8. And Fr. Wadeson, listed as a formator at the seminary for several years but almost always in San Francisco. How many others have sham jobs at the seminary?

    9. Anonymous (August 13, 2014 at 1:31 PM), you honestly didn't know that Tim Rohr used to manage the Cathedral-Basilica Gift Shop? You only know Tim Rohr from what you hear from his naysayers and/or from what you read on "Diana's" blog?

FYI: Many people, young and old, came to learn more about our Catholic Faith thanks to Tim's evangelization via his John Paul the Great Bookstore at ASC and then at the José Building before having the inventory being incorporated into the gift shop. Prior to acquiring the books from Tim, the Cathedral-Basilica Gift Shop (FKA Ave Maria Gift Shop) was just that — a gift shop, not a resource for the Faith — leaving those of us in search for Catholic books only two places: John Paul the Great Bookstore and the St. Padre Pio Religious Gift Shop. It was a real blessing to be able to shop locally instead of going online as I had been doing for years as I tried to learn more about my Faith.

Full disclosure (just in case "Diana" wanted to engage in another conspiracy theory about how Tim "influences" or "controls" me the way "she" thinks he does the PDN): I worked for Tim Rohr when he owned the John Paul the Great Bookstore at the José Building, for 8 months, from May-December 2008.

    10. Is not Fr. Pius and Fr. Adrian on the Archdiocese payroll? So the (flawed) logic of anonymous 1:31 pm renders their public comments a conflict of interest!

  8. Enough with the chances Tim! Give the people the information we need to further understand how this Archdiocese or the Chancery has tried to fool the people for so long!

This Archdiocese should always provide honest answers to the people who, for years, have supported it through weekly tithing and annual appeal contributions!

  9. Hey, I binge watch Law and Order on Amazon Prime for free. So, now I am a lawyer. Here I thought I was wasting my life. Guess I'll hang out my shingle. Esquire, like the sound of it. Gonna get some business cards 500 for 9.99 at Vistaprint. I am a lawyer! Cool. Love Law and Order. Well, at least Diana and I have a little something in common. Building bridges!

  10. Hasn't this been long enough for a chance? Let's hear it, please Tim.
