http://www.news.va/en/news/pope-francis-names-members-of-roman-curia

Pope Francis just made five new voting members to the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples - just as our case is being considered.

Eminent Cardinals:

  • John Atcherley Dew, Archbishop of Wellington (New Zealand)
  • Pierre Nguyen Van Nhon, Archbishop of Hanoi (Vietnam)
  • Francis Xavier Kriengsak Kovithavanij, Archbishop of Bangkok (Thailand)
  • Arlindo Gomes Furtado, Bishop of Santiago de Cabo Verde (Cape Verde)
  • Soane Patita Paini Mafi, Bishop of Tonga (Tonga)

  1. Tim, how will this affect Guam?

  2. Are any Neo sympathizers?

  3. These are countries where Christianity is a minority, so the influence of the NCW would be beneficial to them.

Tim - Thanks for staying on top of real news. Too bad we don't get that with the UMSY rag.
They only seem to care about kiko-news.

Some interesting observations from looking at the news from the Vatican regarding the Cardinal assignments:

Note how almost every Cardinal is an Archbishop. But from our own region, Cardinal Mafi is the Bishop of Tonga. Many years ago it was rumored that Tony-boy was to be the next Cardinal from our region. He was Archbishop and had high hopes. Sadly, those hopes were dashed when he questioned the sacrifice of the mass stating it was merely a banquet, and every sits to eat at a banquet. WRONG MOVE TONY! Then Tony sealed his fate as an also-ran when he publicly questioned Cardinal Arinze. The people of Guam are very happy for Cardinal Mafi, and know that at least we now have someone in Rome who can properly represent our region. Perhaps our next Archbishop will be Cardinal material?!? HELP US ROME!

Another interesting note is that Cardinal John Dew, Archbishop of Wellington, now sits on the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity. We can certainly use some unity in our own Church, so maybe his fellow Wellington resident, Archbishop Martin Krebs, our nuncio, can put a few ideas in his ear on the lack of unity from within Guam. He (Cardinal Dew) could be a real advocate for our people. HELP US CARDINAL DEW!

Hopefully, Cardinal Van Nhon, Archbishop of Hanoi, will take an interest in the clerical abuse dished out by Tony boy in his new role on the Pontifical Council on Justice and Peace. If any peoples needed justice it is the true Catholic population of Guam. Isn't it sad that we need protection from our very own shepherd? What is the analogy people have used in the past? Oh yes, like putting the fox in charge of the hen house, or maybe like making Lucifer the gatekeeper at the Pearly Gates. HELP US CARDINAL VAN NHON!

Last interesting tidbit. I see that two Cardinals have been assigned to the increasingly important roles on the Pontifical Council for SOCIAL COMMUNICATIONS. Did you hear my screaming Tony!!! You may not like social media, but our Pope is very big on transparency and communications, while your Pope Kiko prefers absolute secrecy. If only you had listened to your previous boss (Francis) and been more open as our leader, we might have been able to help you out of your mess (your affiliation with kiko-diablo). But instead you chose to hide and linger on the frinbges of real darkness and evil. Lately, you have totally plunged into the deep dark world of seclusion.

Oh, well. The light of truth always shines and wins over the darkness of lies and deception.
Thank you God for that blessing...at least we have hope as we sound our battle cry...

LOL. I just happened to look at the count up clock. How's that defamation suit coming along Tony? You had better get your attorney (let us hope it is not the fearful David the VG/JCD) to move quickly on this. It has already been 136 days. We wouldn't want that statute of limitations to run out before you had your day in court. Let us know if we can be of any help.

Oh, speaking of court dates, has anything been set up for the Presbyter Camacho sex abuse trial?

    1. Don't worry your little head, Janet B. Archbishop has his backers to help him defend himself from any such suit. Now, the Sex Abuse trial of Presbyter Camacho is a different story.

    1. Funny, isn't it? All the kikos want to brag to us how they have so & so in their pocket of support. I bet it will not be long before these kiko backers realize the "WAY" is a way to hell, and that they will soon abandon their allegiance to this parallel deformity and return to the true Church. Then where will Kiko be when Tony shouts "the Emperor has clothes"?
Kikos - beware - the end is very near!

  8. to Anon at 6.56, I do not know where and why you make these assumptions.
Hanoi is not a ncw settlement. The communist government in Hanoi does not allow foreign missionaries (real, and pretenders alike)
Cardinal Nguyen Van Nhon is in Hanoi now, after being sent there from Dalat by Pope Benedict, because he had become the head of the Vietnamese conference of Bishop.
As such he was the to go person between the Vatican and Hanoi, who has not had any official connection with Rome since 1975 and the fall of Saigon.
The cardinal is from an old family of Catholics. The Catholic Church in Vietnam is there since the late 1600s.
Pierre as he likes to be called by his friends and visitors, is a protege of Cardinal Parolin the actual Secretary of State of the Vatican.
Cardinal Parolin is very astute of the ways to negotiate with and work with totalitarian regimes in Asia. He is also known not to be a fan of Cardinal Filoni.
Cardinal Van Nhon knows all too well the challenges of confiscated properties, constant surveillance and other tactics to harass the faithful.
He is also very aware of our situation, as he is one of two handful of French speaking archbishops, that I have kept appraised over the last two years, with direct and personal letters, which have been answered to by all except one.
Would you know anything about Vietnam, the fact that Cardinal Van Nhon has spent most of his life in Dalat, should tell you a lot.....obviously this is not the case.
BTW somebody has been checking us out from Hanoi for almost an hour now.
    Have a great week.

  9. Dear Franchie, a group of vietnamese bishop regularly go on spiritual retreat to ncw base in Galilee. There are several ncw mission in Vietnam. Officially they work for western company. Filoni and Parolin are part of the same party : the "Nuncios Party" along Becciu and Baldisseri, againist party of the "new world": Pell, Wuerl, O'Malley, Burke, Ouellet..... sorry for my english.

  10. Dear Anon at 7.14, thank you for the clarification. As many of us on this site have noted, the way the "kikos" buy in for favors is by showering some bishops with favors. (financial and/or otherwise)
The western company cover up of some "missionaries" in Vietnam, Malaysia and China is well known to their respective governments. This is not a good cover when they decide to crack down.
As far as your old world party against the new world party within the Vatican, we could debate this issues for hours, as it is a very valid and interesting problem. I tend to fall on the side of a more complex and subtile division existing in both the old and new world. This is indeed how the NCW has been so successful in dividing to better conquer.
Ouellet and O'Malley have in fact been strong supporters of the Ncw, while Parolin has been working diligently against them on many occasions.
On the other hand Archbishop Becciu is considered quite conservative like Burke, and was being seen has gunning down for the "pink lobby" inside the curia. The revelation of his involvement in a cap and dagger operation with retired Swiss guard commander Elmar Mader, has made for a lot of spelt ink in Italy and Switzeland, while Burke was sidelined by Francis very recently.
Lets keep our ears and eyes wide opened, this is how we shall defeat these schemes.
We are lucky that despite the distances, we are able to exchange so much information so easily.
There is nothing black and white in this matter, but rather many "shades of grey"
