YOUR MOVE, ARCHBISHOP...OR ARE YOU GOING TO BLINK?

On July 5, 2015, Archbishop Apuron had California attorney, Michelle R. Neal, write John Toves:

“…we demand that you immediately cease and desist your unlawful defamation of Archbishop Apuron. If you do not comply with this demand, Archbishop Apuron will have to pursue all available legal remedies…”

It looks like Mr. Toves took a few weeks to think it over and has decided not to be bullied Archbully Apuron, releasing a letter yesterday inviting Apuron to "Come and get me."

I am told that there are "several families" who are watching how this will play out.

If you haven't read it already, read my prediction about who will blink in the PDN.

Interesting — I happened to notice that on Wednesday 5 August — John Toves' birthday, Guam time — there were several Facebook posts directed to AAA, including one that read "I will NOT CEASE AND DESIST! Get off our island and out of OUR MOTHER'S CHURCH!" and another stating "Archbishop, waiting for my lawsuit..."

I guess he was testing the waters to see if there would be a response from AAA …

Having not received an immediate response, we now have this signed letter taunting AAA to "Come and get me"

The proverbial ball is now in AAA's Court

  2. here we go. the skeletons are anxious.

john toves has got nothing to lose. apuron, on the other hand, can lose a lot, potentially everything if there's substance to the accusations.

any chance apuron will demand that all records be sealed?

any way we can track how much, if any, money from archdiocesan funds is being used for these legal actions?

  3. I'm an attorney in CA and I read the letter that the Archbishop's lawyer drafted. If she was a friend of the Archbishop's, I wouldn't be surprised if the attorney drafted it for free or at low cost. It's a standard form letter that attorneys send out as an initial move.

  4. This sounds like a personal matter, ergo Tonylingo should fork it out.

  5. Oh, please take the bait Tony, please please please, Tony, a juicy morsel awaits you. This is the chance you have waited for all these months or years, take it and let all see who has grabbed the brass ring?

Archbishop is presiding over the death of the Archdiocese of Agana. It would be in the best interest of Holy Mother church for him to offer his resignation to the Holy Father. This gracious action would allow the Holy Father to decide his suitability to lead for five more years. Frankly, Tony has caused so much division and hurt to so many people I fail to see how anyone can respect him. In comparison to Men like Archbishop Flores or Cardinal Tagle tony becomes A useless pathetic individual .

    1. Apuron hates, yes, hates, some possibilities. One of the reasons he will never give up. The seat belongs to him.

  7. I would like to see this suit played out but the archdiocese's coffers will pay for the cost and not the arch's wallet bulging with bucks. Knowing the arch by his past actions and inactions, he will continue the suit. Too bad the arch can't seek donations for his suit with a black trash bag hanging from his neck.

  8. The ball is still in John's court. In order for AAA to go after him, John has to continue saying those defamatory remarks, and Tim can publish them as proof that he hasn't ceased and desist. The attorney's letter says if you continue the unlawful defamation. There's nothing defamatory about "come get me."

    1. He has been saying them on his Facebook page, but he soon will take it to the next level I am sure.

Anonymous (August 8,2015 at 6:51 AM), you're absolutely correct in your statement "There's nothing defamatory about 'come get me'" in John Toves' letter to AAA, which is why I indicated Mr. Toves had made several posts directed at AAA on Facebook and was now taunting AAA to follow through on his threat to sue for defamation.

John Toves has lobbed several balls, via FB, toward AAA so I stand by my statement — with a slight revision — "The proverbial balls are now in AAA's court." If Tim at 7:23 AM is correct in his speculation that Toves will soon take it to the next level, we shall then see how serious AAA is about filing.

As of this time, I can see that it has been 253 days since AAA made his FIRST threat to file a defamation lawsuit, so I'm really not inclined to hold my breath while I wait for him to make good on his threat.

  9. For sure, for sure...apuron pays for professional legal service out of the coffers of the Archdiocese. The affront to his person is equated to his role as Archbishop, and he takes the entire Catholic Church as persecuted alongside him. People, wake up to the truth that he launders your money for his personal gain and protection. Its almost akin to the way our tax refunds to which we are entitled are garnished to help out a struggling GMH even if we have no debts to the hospital. How any government entity can do this on a rampant consistent basis boggles the mind. Same scenario with the Agana Archdiocese which collects on the basis of an annual appeal but money is really spent on frivolous questionable projects such as the quasi-seminary which is really a sweatshop presbyter factory, salaries and gifts for travelling "missionaries," and how can we forget, the innumerable forays in the jetset lifestyle of an airport Archbishop and his assistants. This lawyer's fees as well as that of the Colorado lawyer who had no jurisdiction on Guam, and thus moot, for the sake of a phony "show and tell" to perpetuate apuron's lies and machination, are from the pot given in trust by the sweat and blood equity of Catholics in the pews. Unbelievable, incredible how he gets away with it - imperious tone to his chancery personnel and threats to parish priests, no doubt. Then we can go to his personal fundraising on his birthday, anniversaries, circumcision, first time to potty train, etc. This apuron is unhinged, and is a shrewd snake indeed.

  10. Oh man Voyager!!! "First time to potty train" celebrations! You had me bursting out laughing. It's so true, that archbishop needs his ego padded all the time. And his neocancers just love to sniff up all that gas from his bumh*le. Hey, they'll do anything for $. Even "walk" with crap jammed up their noses! Disgusting lowlives...cease and desist, neocancers! Better yet, please cease to exist!
